Turtle beech xbox1 headset
The headset is a perfect gaming tool and a must have for the hard core gamers out there! Also great for the new comers of gaming as they will enhance your listening skills by giving you crisp hearing .. You can hear a grass blade move!! I wouldn't recommend any other gaming headset .. I've tried a fair few! The price is definitely well worth it, they're not expensive and would appear to cost considerably more! Yes ... I'm happy and so are the family because they are not subjected to the tv noise

Xbox One X Gamer
The delivery for a start was amazing, I ordered quite late and was delivered the same day. The box was high quality you can tell and when I put it on I expected it to hurt after a couple hours which it did not. The ear muffs surround your ears rather than put pressure on it. It is great that you can hear both the volume for the Xbox as well as anyone else online. The look and feel of it is great and was really impressed especially with the price. I imagine these will last a few years. Brilliant!

Amazing !!!
This item is actually amazing the sound quality is great and the look, feel, and integrity of the headset is flawless.. I play sound orientated games such as rainbow six siege e.c.t and the headset is amazing. Now there is one issue with the headset and what I mean is when you get angry and start shouting and flipping tables and throwing pads headsets at walls its not very strong in that sense however perfect product just don’t throw it :) P.s the picture is a few hours after I bought it :)

Good value for money
Comfortable enough. Not as heavily padded as more expensive models but it causes no discomfort even after several hours of play. Connectivity is easy - plug straight into the xbox controller. Haven't tried with PC yet but looks like it might need a connector for PC. Sound quality great for the price. There is only one master control for volume (you are unable to separately control chat and game volume). Annoying but manageable. Mic detaches, which is neat. Overall - good value for price.

Cheap and cheerful, a great beginner headset
These a re a comfortable cheap 1st timer set. Very minor straight forward assembly and you're on your way. Longest I've gamed with this particular set on was around 5/6 hours (I need to get out more) and I was never uncomfortable with them on. Sound quality isnt the best on the market (obviously), but look at the price you're paying for a comfortable long wearing/lasting gaming headset. Highly recommend if you're on a budget or if you're not sure but dont want to pay over the odds.

turtlebeach smashes it again
the turtlebeach recon x50 is an amazing headset, it does exactly what it says on the tin.... great mic with crisp clear audio, comfortable ear muffs that still feel as comfortable after 7 hours solid gameplay, a quick volume wheel makes changing volume or muting whilst gaming easier and hassle free. the bright green is aesthetically pleasing to the eye an looks great in any room in the home. in all id give the turtlebeach a 9 out of 10 definately recommend for any gamer from novice to pro.

Could not ask for a better gaming headset..
I recently joined Xbox Live and needed a good quality gaming headset. So I checked the internet prices and found Argos was selling gaming headsets for just the same price. I was after a great quality sound and comfort. I found the Turtle Beach Recon 50x perfect for my Xbox One console and rather than order online and wait for delivery, and possible damage during transit, I decided to visit my local friendly Argos. Now I'm chatting and having fun playing games with people all over the world..

My headphones work perfectly the sound is so clear
These headphones work perfectly for the purpose I wanted them for, my PS4 and gaming. They work just as intended to, the sound is perfect for when I am on fortnite and can hear enemy’s coming, the detachable microphone is a really good design so you don’t always have the have the microphone on in your face. The only thing I could say that the headphones could be improved by is, A tiny bit more cussion on the headband bit, but they are really good headphones. Definitely worth your money!

What more can i say over giving it a 5 star rating. Good price and good quality for the price. The only comment I'd give (hence the 4 stars for connectivity) is that there is loads of headsets come with a combined headphone and microphone jack, loads. It would be really, really, nice if manufacturers can include an adaptor to split it in to sperate connections for headphone and microphone. What adapters there on the market mostly only allow mono use on the headphones and not stereo.

Great sound, comfy but.....
Super clear audio makes playing games easier when having to hear for sound clues. Being a newbie to gaming after several years I thought these would be great. However there is one part I overlooked. You can't hear your own voice. I didn't think about it until people were moaning at me for shouting online & at home. Yep, carried away whilst shooting my way around CoD. Id recommend these but having a chance to buy again, I'd go for another Turtle Beach headset that you can hear yourself.

Fair Price and Quality Budget Headset
This Turtle Beach headset is not a Bad headset for someone who needs a Quick, easy plug and play headset. It's comfy and sounds good. Plugs Straight into the Xbox controller that comes with the Xbox one s and x Or any new controllers sold by Stores. If you are using an Old Xbox one controller, you will need to buy a chat Adapter for the controller. Easy to tell, if there is a 3.5mm hole in the bottom of your controller you won't need an adapter. If there isn't you will need one.

Good reasonably priced gameing headset
This is the second one my son has had. The first he bought himself, and accidentally snapped the lead by treading on it and pulling!!! For his birthday I offered to up-grade it, but he said that he wanted the same one as he believes it was just as good if not better than some of his friends more expensive headsets. Plus points: comfortable over ears, covers both ears and not just one, reasonable price. Negatives: needs an adaptor. He can't hear me when calling him for dinner!!

Great value
Having only ever used the cheap ‘over one ear’ variety, I was over the moon with these. They are comfortable to wear and the sound quality is fabulous. What more do you want from a set of headphones? I like the fact that I can now mute the TV and hear everything through these. As a beginner to Fortnite I can now hear whether the enemy is to my left or right, something that I could never do before. These were plug and play with the Xbox One S so no messing with any settings.

A good entry level set of headphones.
My partner was complaining about the noises of violence eminating from the TV due to my new found love of battlefield on my Xbox. Being a dad of three at the back of the festive season I didn't have much in the way of free cash. I did a little research and these headphones seemed to tick the right boxes. 30 quid to save any arguments seemed a fair deal so I gave them a bash. Decent sound quality and controls. For the price you would struggle to find better. Highly recommended.

Good headphones for the price
These are a good entry level set of headphones. Turtle Beach are one of the leaders in the market and I have a pair of the most expensive for my PS4. These are for the home Xbox One S and though the microphone is extended on its own boom it works admirably. Quality of the earmuffs are pretty good for long gaming sessions. My only slight negative is the jack end which extends out of the controller quite far. You have to be careful how you rest your controller as it may bend.

Sound quality excellent. Comfy too
Bought these to replace normal Xbox headset. What a difference. You can hear the direction of the enemy shooting you. Easy to increase game Volume or chat volume very comfortable on your ears as lightweight all round great headset. Don’t forget your adapter if you have one of the older Xbox handsets without the socket Would recommend for anyone who needs to play with tv sound really low. Now you can turn the sound off the tv and just have it through the headset

Great set up, love that the microphone detaches
I love that the microphone detaches and reattaches for indoor and outdoor use. Great with phone and games console controllers. Sound quility is good could be a little louder though (this is personal preference). The microphone it's self no lag on my end good, clear voice on other people's end and moves for comfort and closer for louder voice output. The only down side is if you wair them to long the top of headphones do seem to rub and irritatethe top of your scalp.

Good value for money
The only problem with this headset is the chat to game volume is set. This means you often can't hear what your friends are saying in game. That is the only drawback however they are comfortable to wear, fantastic game sound quality with surround sound as good as any expensive headset. I would highly recommend this item to anyone not looking to spend to much money but still looking for best quality. These could easily retail at twice the asking price and still sell.

For Xbox, good connection and sounds great
These headphones cuts out all other sounds, while using, so he can concentrate on the task. He plays on the Xbox, on the dreaded Fortnight lol, the mic picks up his speech very well. The padding is comfy and completely covers his ears. He also uses them for the iPad and Mac as he is homeschooled. We tried lots of others but these are the best!! He also has APD so comfy and noise cancellation was a priority, these are a life changer to him. Can't recommend enough.

Bought 2 both stopped working after 2 days
Got this head set as part of my son's Xmas present, after 2 days he told me the Mic had stopped working. We got them replaced with the same head set but again stopped working after 2 days. The staff told me it's not the first time somebody has brought these back. We ended up having to buy a more expensive set. There must be a common fault on them, too much of a coincidence for both head sets to die after only 2 days. Don't waste your time buying these.

Great
I would recommend, my 9yr old son loves them for Xbox gaming, great to use with other game consoles due to Mic can be attached only when needed. Very comfortable on the head and ears. Also great sounds with his games. He loves them would recommend to buy I love them as I can now listen to music while he player xbox. Helpful hint: we struggles what the different is with 50x and 50p, but worked out 50x is xbox and 50p is PlayStation. Hope it helps.

Head phones
Well just had theas about 2/3 weeks and to be honest I carnt say anything wrong about them. They are light fit well over my ears comfortable. Sound is good surround type stereo. If i had to say something against them it would be to have another one or two feet of line but thats just me. I have used them on laptop and t.v. both worked well. So to round of a good set of head phones nice price excellent value for money. I recommend them to anyone..

Thank God for warranty!
Bought as a Christmas present for my son and had to use the product warranty 3times to date (8mths) cannot fault Argos as they have replaced the item each time with no quibbles but would recommend an extended warranty if you decide to buy. The problem each time has been the same thing that my son can hear his friends but they cannot hear him, the microphone detaches and the wire connection into the plug that goes into the pad is very flimsy.

Great headset for good price
I purchased this headset to use on my pc for chatting whilst gaming. It's so comfortable and I can use for hours without needing to take a break. The microphone is detachable which is great when you just need the headphones part without it getting in the way. Sound quality and microphone quality is awesome. I've bought another for my daughter too so we are matching girlie gamers. She loves hers too. Would definitely recommend this product.
