Ignore the haters, these are a great set of headphones!
I picked up a set of Sony WI-1000X from the B&H Used department. Yes, they are pricey. However, Sony has put a lot of thoughtful engineering touches into this product. The headset feels very solid and weighty when picked up. The weight, coupled with the length of each arm keeps these settled and centered on your neck better than similar headsets that are lighter and use shorter arms. In Your Ear!
iPhone X pushed me to sell my trusty Sennheiser on-ear noise canceling headphones. The sound was best when the noise canceling was on, and even then not the sound I thought music should have to bring out the highs and lows with clarity. Still, they were pretty good and did the trick. Just...after an hour or so, they began to stop being comfortable. A great lightweight alternative to headphones
These earphones are the lightweight equivalent of the Sony HEADphones of a similar name and I'd say they perform at about 80% when it comes to the noise cancellation part - you just can't beat the physical barrier of extra material. However they are great for wearing all day without messing up your hair. It's basically half a necklace resting on the back of your neck. A word of caution, if used with a flight pillow the pillow could jam these into your ears if it comes up a bit high.

Sony should do much better perfecting for Android 7/8.x
I just cannot stand constant interruptions in my music audio from oddities and bugs. I have to hit my wake button on Nexus 6p every time the music mysteriously stops! Great sound, if it keeps streaming :( Something to do with the OS or Amazon Music app causing undesired pause over and over and it sucks.

Not so great for bicycling
The earbuds drop out of my ears with little provocation. The smallest silicone tips are still too big for my ears. And the track back/advance feature simply does not work. The sound is excellent; decent bass and mid tones.

Good Quality
Decent noise cancellation. Good Sony build quality as expected. Ability to plug into analog airline audio is a huge plus! A bit annoying that when usb plugged in, bluetooth doesnt function. Also, a bit slow to charge.

100% satisfied
I'm very satisfied with this product, sound quality is most important for me and here it's just fabulous. These earphones are worth every penny of this price. I can really recommend Sony WI-1000X

Amazing earphones
By far the best wireless earphones I've ever bought. The noise cancelling is good and the sound quality is superb. I would highly recommend these great value earphones.
