Skullcandy Indy True Wireless Headphones - Mint
Wondering if these are good?
I thought the same thing when I scrolled through the results priced from least to greatest. (Had a $100 gift card) I was looking at paying about $70 tops, and use the rest for some other thing. A lot of reviews about the bass not being great and whatnot. Eventually after a few comparisons, I decided to buy them. Shipping was fast. Took about 2 days. First thought: They looked a little unique. After I figured out how to power them up I decided ... Show More

A bit quiet and not really a comfortable fit
I've been pleased with other Skullcandy earphones, so this brand was a natural choice for me. They work fine with my Android phone, however, they are a bit quiet even with the volume set to max. They also have a tendency to come out of my ear, which obliges me to push them in firmly which tends to be uncomfortable, especially if I leave them in for a while. Even having swapped to the smaller ear cushions (included), they cause ear ache after ... Show More

Somewhat effective
Purchased to use with WIFI to watch my TV. The sound quality is not great with TV and either the buds or TV requires the volume on the TV to be set to the MAX in order to get what I would describe as normal listening range. The on/off pressing took a bit getting used to. With more use, perhaps easier. Likely to switch these earbuds for use with my phone and use the Ootz buds with the TV (the Ootz buds have the same issue with volume range but t... Show More

Easy setup and no wires!
I love everything about these headphones so far! They were so simple to set up and connect with my phone’s Bluetooth so I could use them right away. The sound quality is far better than I expected for headphones of this size, and they are touch sensitive so that I can change track, volume or answer calls without having to pick up my phone from my bag or pocket. They stay in really well so when I’m commuting to work I don’t have to worry about them falling out. Overall I’m really happy with them!

Really cool and easy configuration
I was a bit dubious about these as I’d never used wireless earphones before but I was pleasantly surprised! The packaging was great too- ideal if sending as a gift. The buds were comfortable but I did initially have to get used to them a little but I think that’s due to my small ears as opposed to the buds themselves! They were incredibly easy to set up as there’s a little booklet underneath the buds themselves and linking them up to my phone wasn’t too difficult. I liked the volume control!

Very comfortable, but sound is quite quiet
Very comfortable, lightweight and secure fitting with detachable fins. Not too bulky for small ears. Great design and build quality. Ease to use and set up, but tap commands with no feedback take some getting used it. Clear sound with no lag, but very quiet, so had to turn volume up really high. Range at least 10m across multiple floors. Case doesn’t feel that robust, but it’s lightweight with lights indicating battery charge and both the case lid and earphones stay firmly in place magnetically.

Nice sound quality but not the most comfy and temp
Used for 3 months. I liked having these around. They are better than having wires and the sound quality is generally good. However I couldn't ever get a comfy fit - either they were too tight or simply fell out of my ears even when just sitting down, so I imagine they'd be a nightmare when running! Also found that when the battery on the docking station dropped below 2 they would cut out randomly and be harder to hook up to Bluetooth. Depending on the price would be my guidance of whether to buy

Great on Design, Lacking on Sound
Fantastic design, solid & comfortable. Charging case works the same as Apple equivalent & pairing them just as easy. Instructions are simplistic & easy to follow. Only gripe is sound! Clarity is there but lack volume, especially bass. I have tried other wireless brands only slightly more expensive that overcome this. It's a shame because they look great. I guess these are in ear wireless which impact battery life. Unless you're in the market specifically for that: this is the value Apple option.

Looks good sounds okay
Don't turn up to max volume sound becomes disorteded an crackly. Call quality is poor everyone I called said sounded to quiet. The best thing about this product is the design an battery life by far, even if it is micro USB charging. It is disappointing that that it need the right ear to connect to a device they don't connect individually so u can't just listen through the left ear. So too some some the product up great design an battery life terrible microphone an a distorted sound at max volume

Lightweight, Simple & Sleek
These earbuds are a pretty sweet piece of kit, the case they come in lightweight and compact with a magnetic lid & LEDs to show case charge. Setup is simple, I had them set up in about 20 seconds, the controls are a little fiddly at first when putting the buds in or taking them out, just use the stem to negate this. I'm not a huge fan of the buds that fit right into your ear but I'm willing to adjust for the simplicity of the controls + there are interchangeable moulds & buds. Thumbs up!

Quality sound and very secure in your ears
Ive always loved skull candy headphones, the sound quality has been reliable for over a decade of use of different products. The tonal range on these headphones is great with a good bass. the rubber ear grip makes them stay very securely in the ear, the case feels great and the tap controllers hold up. the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that its not a usb C or wireless charging case. but tbh, a small blip in an otherwise fantastic product at a great price compared with apple.

Look and feel nice but poor sound quality.
Earbuds look and feel amazing, I love the charging case and the fit of them. The sound quality let's them down, they are extremely bass heavy and the bass distorts the overall sound. The quality of the mic also leaves me wanting more, the person on the other end could not hear me when I was outdoors. However I will say after downloading a equaliser and stripping the bass down the sound was much better and they are a comfortable wear. The battery life with the help of the charging case is good.

Great budget buds
I was put off by some reviews online regarding the sound quality. I'm happy to report though I should not have been worried. If you are a complete audiophile then you may find they lack some clarity but I have found them really clear. The fit is brilliant. They cancelled out most of the background noise but still left enough noise to stay alert on my run so win win there to The charging box looks really neat and charges the buds really quickly and the initial setup and pairing took seconds.

Working well after initial set up difficulties
Beautifully designed, small case fits easily into a jacket pocket. Comes with 3 sizes of in ear parts, definitely worth trying them all out in a location at home where they won't be lost if they do fall out. Some initial difficulties pairing my device to my phone (I kept just turning the earbuds on and off) and an initial lack of confidence they would stay in my ears if I was walking have now been overcome and after a week I am beginning to remember most of the tap and press and hold controls.

A while to get the gist but overall great!
These headphones came in a cool box including the cable and charging/carry pod. Cute design as I love plain. I was nervous these would be too bulky when I first opened them but no! They offered 2 alternative ear buds for different fit preferences which was a bonus as I did feel the other size suited better. The touch style controls took a while to get used to, the instructions are clear though it was just probably as I've been used to wired headphones. Now all is worked out, great headphones!

Perfect for when you just want sound to take over
Skullcandy Indy haven’t quite hit the top spot, yet. The setup is quick and simple, pairing with both iOS and Android devices, but it is the sound quality that lets the headphones down. Nearing maximum volume the headphones seem to distort the sound of your favourite song, so they’re best enjoyed on a low to average volume to make the most out of their quality. The in ear moulds are comfortable and allow you to rest easy, knowing they’re not going to fall out part way through a workout.

Stylish, but more importantly sound fantastic
The most important tickbox for headphones is the sound quality, and these 100% deliver. The in-ear fit really blocks out ambient noise, qgiving great sound without the need for overly high volume. The design features are also pretty sharp - the controls are simple and easy, and the lack of 'clicky' buttons gives a real sense of sleekness. The charging box is also a great idea, meaning you can charge your headphones on the fly and also keep them secure in one place. All in all - impressive!

Very convenient!
I usually find the in-ear style tends to pop out but not with these. They come with different sized buds to find a perfect fit. They also come with a case which charges the earphones while they’re away in your bag.The case is small so doesn’t take up much room. The sound quality is not as good as what I’d expect for the price, it’s not bad but it’s on par with with much cheaper earphones. You’re paying for the convenience of not being tethered by a wire which is worth it for me.

Sorry Skullcandy, this ain't it.
Not good - The design of the earphones are a bit bulky, and sound would often cut out. It’s easy to accidently skip a song or turn the volume down using the controls on the earphones. When using them at full volume, there was a lot of feedback coming through the earphone, meaning that I had to have the earphones on a lower volume to avoid any distortion - a lot of background noise could be heard instead. My advice is to splash out on a pair of Samsung buds or Airpods rather than get these.

OK
Fairly comfortable and they haven’t fallen out yet. I have had difficulty with the earbuds pairing with each other and using the volume controls - I think I would prefer a physical button rather than tapping the buds. I have only owned a week or so and I’ve lost one of the rubber things already they help to keep them in the ear. The rubbery things don’t seem properly attached so easily lost I think. The sound quality is good enough. They’re alright but I’m not in love with them.

Simple and Stylish
Very easy to set up and pair. The design is really nice. The touch control is a little bit fiddly especially when you trying to get them to the right place throughout your workout (I took them to do the test run to the gym). They are light, very comfy a sit well in your ears. Noise cancelling was a bit poor in the gym but it was ok elsewhere. Sound quality is ok but when you put the volume to the top you can hear a bit of struggle - less clarity. Copes quiet well with bass boosted songs.

A little big, but they do the job!
These were my first set of wireless earphones. When I took them out the packet I thought they looked massive and wouldn't fit in my ears or stay in, however I was wrong. They fit well in my ears and stay in. Even giving my head a shake! The sound quality is as expected from skull candy; brilliant. It helps if you know your left and right though as you have to tap on the bud relevant to what you want to do, such as turning up/down the volume, skipping songs, and answering calls.

Great stylish earbuds
These earbuds are great. They have good sound quality, good volume and they are comfortable once you get them in. I love the colour and the case and they maintain charge well. Can have a bit of trouble if the two stop being paired but an easy fix once you know what you're doing. I didn't think I'd use the touch controls but I love them and they're easy once you get used to what does what etc. Love that you can use one ear but I wish you could use the left on its own not just the right.

Will try something else.
Stalks Prevent a good seal with the rubber buds in the ear canal, They are prevented from going far enough into the ear by the stalks. If i push them further in, they sound great, but get sucked out again when i let go, bad seal prevents sound isolation, all bass is lost. Touch gestures suck, easy to accidentally tun music down, hard to turn up. Better fit and sound with my partners Apple Airpods. case is at least twice the size of apples & the matte black surface scratches easily.
