Best vr headset for value
I have had this headset before but it was getting old and due to use i needed to replace it, so i refunded my old one where i bought it and used that money to get a brand new one and would still recommend this headset to anyone even though its discontinued but argos still have a few so get while you can

Worth it if you are interested in gaming
Great if you have a pc to support it although I would buy a new face cover as it is quite sweaty and gets dirty and uncomfortable.

Fantastic VR setup
It is simply great. Very good for dedicated VR games like beat saber and pavlov, also works really well with racing sims like assetto corsa. The sensors are a bit of a hassle but it is comfortable and the controllers feel natural so its very good. This is very similar to the rift s but I think I prefer the improved comfort of this against the extra convenience of the rift s. This is very good if you're computer can get at least 95fps in the VR games.

Awesome experience
I purchased the Oculus rift so I could use it on X-Plane 11 on the PC. This piece of equipment is totally awesome. After setting up which took about 30 mins, I was in my virtual cockpit ready to fly. The immersion is nothing short of total and the depth of field feeling is there. You do need a high spec computer to use it on flight sims but the software that comes with it is nothing short of total immersion too. If you want to get into VR this is the way to experience it.

You won't believe me until you try it
Do buy this Don't not buy it Hopefully your not the seasick type, absolutely amazing when linked to a SIM racing rig and watch those laptimes tumble. Loads of content, yes it's not cheap but the quality speaks for itself. Enjoy.

VR is next level
I was the skeptic of VR but i use my pc way more cause of it, games just keep getting better and better! Brings a new depth to gaming, if you like designing stuff to it amazing for that too! Yes there are bugs and glitches here and there, by far one of best purchases i have made

Fiddly setup but fun
Good fun. Probably for the technical minded at this point, had to faff about with USB versions to get good tracking.

I was skeptical at first...
As a massive fan of poker, Pokerstars VR persuaded me to get the oculus. Oculus comes with a few games to get you started that are mostly garbage except for Robo Recall and Dead and Buried. Oculus home is launched when you put on your headset; you are greeted with your own customisable apartment where you can change the scenery to a mountain range or pirate ship dock, a Gotham style city scape or even a space pod to watch planets sail by your balcony. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Oculus Rift, A new reality
The Rift offers an amazing new form of entertainment with crisp, clear vision which makes you feel part of the experiences themselves. Vision range is good and sound is amazing thanks to its built-in head phones which are good quality, (Can be removed if you wish to use your own). Controllers feel natural and intuitive and are easy to hold and use. I had slight problems with the right-hand headphone so ease of use got less stars. It's very easy to set up, just follow on-screen instructions.

Not as easy to set up
This is a great product but not as easy to set up as you might think. Not only did the unit not always recognise the hands controllers but the HD I cable needed reseating. These are both easy problems to fix but unexpected.

Such good value!
This is the best value VR headset, so much better than expected. Just wish I had more time to use it! Works better with an extra sensor, but the two sensors in the box are more than adequate

Not that all made up to be
These are ok wouldn't shout from the roof tops for them, fairly easy to use but do become some what uncomfortable after a while, could have a small fan blower installed in them to circulate the air around the face a bit. generally happy with them.

Item is great BUT ....
Item is fabulous but make sure your graphics card is compatible and powerful enough otherwise games will be rather laggy.

Wow!
I got this for DCS World flight sim. Rift S is to be released this month, but I wanted this CV1 version because I’d read it was better built and more refined. It’s stunning. There’s such a sense of being in a cramped cockpit I try to wipe condensation off the inside of the canopy. The controllers represent your hands, complete with gestures, in VR. Want to flick a virtual switch in the cockpit? Reach out and flick it. You really believe you’re there. I could never go back to a screen.

Awesome piece of technology!
Truly amazing. You'll need a very capable PC and ideally free space of at least 2 metres by 3 metres to get the maximum experience but you can use it whilst being sat down. Take your time setting it up and you'll enter another world of entertainment. There are three introductory VR experiences designed to teach you the very basics from just getting used to looking around to picking up objects and firing guns at inanimate objects. There's also so many free experiences that truly are awesome!

Not so easy to install
After first install, it wouldn't load games. After 2nd attempt to install, the sensors couldn't track the hand controllers. Several emails to oculus with trouble shooting steps, nothing worked. Returned for refund.

Best VR headset on the market
Having used a WMR and Vive previously, I consider the Oculus to be the best in terms of comfort, ease of use, developer support and, crucially, cost. If you're on the fence, just get one - I can't imagine anyone regretting this. Tech specs below; I haven't had any problems running anything so far. i7-4790k, 16gb DDR3, GTX980Ti

revolutionary. If you have the right hardware.
You might ask yourself; is VR really that good? Yes Yes it is. There is no way to describe the experience other than revolutionary. The oculus rift is great compared to the HTC vive, nothing really worth the extra investment for the VIVE. The rift has integrated headphones and fits snugly. Only bugbear is the lack of triple A games but those will come with time and more VR users to fuel the VR game industry. This is a game changer, I do not exaggerate, you must try it for yourself, go do it now.

Gaming made better
If you like gaming then this just takes it to a fantastic level I'm 60 but when I put this on I feel 16 your living on a different planet . don't look down if you got vertigo make sure you look up they come out of the sky they attack you from behind you, this is what you call gaming it's absolutely fantastic

I love it! It's an amazing product.
I've already had hours of enjoyment with the Oculus Rift. For a tech-lover like myself, the setup was easy. However, be prepared to buy a hdmi+usb extensions as the cable is pretty short for the type of product. I also had to make a ceiling-down "rig" to avoid unecessary fumbles on the cables. Furthermore, I recommend investing in Windows 10 (if you don't have it already) as the Oculus no longer has update support for OS platforms prior.

Great product, always wanted a VR headset, reserved this and picked it up later the same day. Easy to setup and use, as most of the reviews suggest, buying an extra sensor and some USB extensions is worth doing as that will make placing the sensors easier but ultimately this is a great kit to get started with VR.

Great for next level gaming
Really good thing to buy if you want to reach next level gaming experience. Love playing games on this and the free games on the market and ones you receive with the headset are fun to play.
