A...maz...ing!!!
Wow! This truely is an epic experience. The Netflix lounge is stunning, the rollercoaster rides are thrilling, snowboarding is brilliant... and all games we’ve played so far have been free from the Oculus App Store. I bought this slightly discounted in the Black Friday sale, but even at its top price it’s worth it. I also noticed in the App Store there’s a VR meditation programme so I can’t wait to try this out. Fun for all the family but the kids especially love it. Charging cable is USB.

Awesome step into the future
The Oculus Go VR Headset is the perfect next step into the future. It’s more affordable that other VR headsets out there for what it offers, meaning more and more people can get into the VR world and experience what is on its way. The software, both on the headset and smartphone app, work seemlessly to give you an excellent experience. Anyone out there looking for a “cool” new gadget, or simply something to have fun with when your friends are over - the Oculus Go is a fantastic purchase!

My daughter loves this!
I purchased this for my daughter an i was worried at the price! I though she would only use it a few times and leave it to the side, but a month on an she uses it most days! The standalone feature means there is no need for the headset to be connected to anything other than the WiFi an that's amazing as it means no matter where she is, if it's a friends house or when we're out she can enjoy her games. I have used it to an it is very entertaining and enjoyable. I would recommend buying it!

Outstanding
I've owned this product for around 3 weeks now, and I've fallen in love with it! The picture quality is crisp. Apps, films and games all look fantastic. The actual headset itself is lightweight and very comfortable to wear. Standard things like browsing the internet and social media is now an absolute joy, the remote is great for games and even typing. Only downer for me is the battery life drains fairly quickly and the lens can fog up frequently, but this doesnt stop me from giving this 5/5.

VR Headset that takes you to another world!

Just amazing loved by the whole family
A Christmas present for my teen boys. It as it is quite expensive and I wasn’t sure if it was going to be any good. Better than I could have imagined they love it young and old from my dad (62)so entertaining watching him jump about thinking zombies were about to eat him, my 8 year old daughter took a sleigh ride with Santa and my 23 year old sister legs shook when she played a fear of heights game at a party we had after Christmas and everyone wanted to try it out now they all want one.

Bought this VR headset as birthday present.
Was asked for a VR headset for use with xbox 1 & iPhone. Seems there is not one brought out yet! So I looked at the Oculus system ("rift" I think!) but needed to connect through hdmi and usb ports to a home computer/Laptop. They have an imac so does not believe in having ports! So this was ideal as it does not rely on a PC or phone. My son had it at his party and said they had great fun with it all day and it was his best present ever! He might have exaggerated a bit as he is a good boy!

Real fun in a virtual world
After the initial setup this was just a whole lot of fun out of the box. The menu alone made my jaw drop, the Grand Canyon with the menu just floating in front of you is great. I have used other VR items in the past but the Oculus Go just blows these out of the water. The immersion and the clarity of the display is excellent. I wear glasses and this was my greatest worry about wearing the Oculus Go, I needn't of worried, it is so comfortable with my glasses, no pressure on them at all.

Totally portable VR solution
As a portable entertainment product this is excellent - the screen resolution is great and the headset light and comfortable. However, this was a company purchase to be used as an R&D tool. We are able to build Unreal environments and upload to the Oculus Go and test. This headset is an extremely good substitute for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift (excluding the ability to roam). It is totally portable and does not rely on being driven / tethered to an expensive workstation. Very happy.

Oculus Go is a great intro to the world of VR
Instant VR experiences straight out of the box with no complicated set up. I was in my Virtual world within 5 mins. Provides hours of truly immersive experiences and games with the benefit of portability, but not recommended for the serious gamers. No parental controls so unsuitable for unsupervised under 13s due to the horror experiences available to preview. Battery last about 80-90 minutes, recharges in 20. Recommended as an great VR introduction. can't fault it for the price.

Great kit but has limitations
My purchase was primarily driven by one thing... to experience 1943 Berlin Blitz from the BBC VR Hub with a view to using it for educational purposes. In that respect it is fantastic. The kit is amazing and I like the fact that it is totally self contained and does not require a PC. You just need to connect it to a wi-fi network to download content on to the device. Berlin Blitz is fantastic but I'm struggling to find other content that really engages me. Still great fun though.

Nice experience
I really love my Oculus Go, great for watching videos time flies so fast. I would recommend installing sky box from occulus store to stream offline videos from other devices like pc. It's my first VR device and is comfortable on my head nice that the head straps allow you to lay your head on a pillow comfortably, it's smooth operations some great VR appps on the store. There is so much to do, clear quality picture's videos great sound quality. I am happy with my Oculus Go.

Good Bit of Kit
Brought this as an entry level way into VR, watched a couple of movies on it and its pretty good, iplayer and Amazon stream well on it,there are several free games that I have played its not ideal for them but at this price it doesn't mater to me, Will probably sell it nearer Christmas and buy a PS4 with VR around black Friday. Battery life isn't very clever but after watching a film my eyes are ready for a rest. Adds a new dimension to adult movies nearly lost an Eye.

Have recommended to many friends
Being a mum to 4 children ages 7-15 its hard to find something to entertain everyone and drag them away from their consoles or phone screens. This has everything, games, apps, various VR experiences/ interactive stories and theres youtube or netflix for me! (Plus lots of other streaming options) I have raved to everyone about the oculus go, its 10/10 for me. Plus the fact that you dont have any cables restricting your movements is a definite plus over other VR headsets.

This headset was a great price but that’s it!!
Got this headset for my son off Xmas money and he was really excited. We set it up very quickly and he was soon enjoying vr!! After a few days the headset became slow and unresponsive to handset provided tried re booting charging even resetting the whole device but continued to turn its self off or go black screen. Very disappointed!! When I took back to Argos the staff could not have not been more helpful and I got a full refund as I was put off getting a new one.

It's a compromise
I like it and I'm glad I bought it, but I have to admit that is not as good as I thought. I bought it for YouTube VR and similar experiences and even at the highest quality the experiences aren't that clear. Plus the battery life isn't great either. I charged it, the light went green to indicate it was full, switched it on the following day and the battery was at 91%. I get a max on 90 mins use, at best. I think I wanted PlayStation VR quality at Oculus Go prices.

Battery life and motion sickness
The battery life of Oculus Go is shocking. Maybe just one hour of play between 100% to 0% battery life. I am also unable to use mine much for the sense of motion sickness is sometimes overwhelming. Also if you wear glasses you will need them to be ultra smudge free or you'll get a milky distracting view of what's in front of you. Some content is good but there's not enough and what there is can often be expensive. Avoid is my best recommendation. Waste of money.

Everyone I’ve allowed to try it has said the same thing: “Wow.” Extremely easy to use in comparison to headsets requiring a PC/Phone. Very pleasantly surprised by the rage of apps and games available! I’ve found myself using it for day to day activities a lot but it really shines for games and in groups. The issues are already well known at this point... invest in an extra long charging cable and don’t forget the glasses spacer if you need it!

Great experience for an affordable price
- If you've tried Google cardboard, this is a great leap forward into what VR can really do - Impressive immersive screen with good sound. Even better if you use headphones for a fully immersive experience - Lots of great quality videos to download. Jurassic Park Blue is outstanding - Educational and fun. Also good for stressed out adults wanting to escape - there are a few mindfulness sequences which allows you a mini-escape Would highly recommend.

great piece of kit
I've had a 'slot in phone job' before so I thought I would take a step up and buy this Oculus. I wish i done it years ago. It's great for watching You Tube videos of 70's bands, roller coasters, mirroring my laptop, viewing things from my NAS drive, the options are endless. If I had to moan about anything, it would be no Bluetooth support for headphones but it has a 3.5mm jack for wired headphones. If you're thinking of buying one of these - GO for it.

Very good indeed.
This is the first VR unit I would actually recommend to someone. All the other options thus far have been fiddly, complicated and somewhat underwhelming in some circumstances. This, you just put it on - and it works. Technically the best resolution VR headset available at the moment. Games are fairly basic, think hi-tech mobile game in VR, but it's fantastic for watching movies. If you can copy a movie onto a USB drive, you can put a movie on this.

The Oculus Go is exellent
The Oculus Go is great for media and small games. It only has one 3dof controller but still gives a very good experience, Its perfect for anyone new to VR and is a great introduction to virtual reality. The visuals are crisp and clear and are even better than PSVR. I love the Go and would recommend it to anyone interested in VR. Its so easy to use and no wires or tracking cameras are needed because its all built into the headset itself.

The Oculus Go is the perfect first step into VR
The Oculus Go is the perfect first step into VR waters; you will no longer require a top-end PC and a VR headset costing around £500, as the Go is a standalone unit which only requires a smartphone to download the Oculus app to pair with it on first use. There are lots of free apps to test, and c.1000 paid for apps, including 'experiences' and full-blown games. The Go is highly recommended, especially at the new, reduced price.

Interesting and good device but...
It's a nice piece of tech if you like gadgets, however it's low resolution is not good enough for me. Playing games it's nice and it gives you a really nice immersive experience. Movies on a huge screen... Interesting thing but they look pixelated and unclear and if you are used to 4k or even full hd you'll not enjoy the experience. Otherwise good and interesting as a toy, but i got bored after using it a couple of times.
