Previous headsets seemed to break within a year with wires fracturing or the microphone failing so opted for HP this time around in the hope that a prestige brand would mean better quality. I haven't been disappointed but time will tell as have only had the headset for a couple of weeks ago far but build quality does seem better. Fingers crossed!
