Best headphones I've owned
I have had these headphones for about a year now. They are used for both music production and daily use, when gaming, watching movies or listening to music. The sound is really balanced, and you can hear low, mids and high ends in a balanced way. They are not colored by bass - which makes them very neutral and good for mixing/production purposes. Small tip: Since they are 600 Ohms, check if your audio interface can handle the resistance, or if you need to purchase a headphone amplifier to get the full power of the headphones.

Spacious balanced soundstage
Upgraded to these (DT880 600ohm) from DT770Pro 250 ohm and am using them on top end vintage/classic synthesizers and FX with a top end mixer and a Lake People G109P headphone amp. Great for home use
These are one of the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. Very comfortable headband and soft velour ear pads make these headphones a leisure to wear for long periods. The sound is very clear ant neutral. They are very precise, yet easy to listen to and not tiresome. They pair nicely with a tube amplifier, so you can adjust them to your liking, based on tubes you like. You will need a dedicated amplifier to use them properly. Co... Show More

Stunning Clarity and Soundstage
You won't regret buying this pair of headphones. The build is solid, but more importantly, you will be able to hear every detail of the audio that passes through its drivers. The soundstage is also very wide meaning you will get a true sense of the stereo separation of the audio source. To complete the package, the earpads are extremely comfortable and you won't notice them even after wearing them for hours.

Not happy with the sound.
As Pro as these headphones fit and feel, i was not happy with the sound. it feels like the curve on the EQ has all the mid range removed so nothing sounds punchy. The bass is too loud in relation to the rest of the specturm.

Detailed Headphones
I spend much of my time writing and producing music with computers and a selection of real instruments. I therefore needed a pair of headphones with a flat, accurate and detailed response that also translates mixes well on to many different speakers. These are comfy to wear and the open backed design cuts down the air pressure on the ears, allowing them to be worn for prolonged periods of time with the minimum of fatigue. I choose ... Show More
