Brilliant! First drone, next drone or last drone....
Ok, I don't get enthused that easily. Having owned a 3DR Iris+ and Solo, I'm experienced in drone ops, but not DJI. Bought this because of its size and portability. That's the icing on the cake. It's Everything they said it Would Be
Despite the circus surrounding the release date debacle and 10 weeks of waiting, this aircraft delivers everything a semi-pro videographer needs. I'm not new to multi-rotors and have many hours of flight time with a P3P. Portability is key for me and the Mavic provides that without compromising a thing! I've already been able to take it places that I would have never considered taking a Phantom! It's a precise flyer and really moves out in Sport mode. The additional modes in the GO app are nice. FPV is good with a 3rd party app.

My 5th Pro Drone
Right now as a hobby but I do shoot photography and video professionally. I can tell you that I've owned 5 pro drones and even wrote off buying another DJI until this came out. By all measures this thing is amazing and I hate that I have to say that about DJI!

Fantastic Drone!
Overall this is an amazing drone. It's easy to fly, easy to control, well built, and it just looks cool too. I give it four stars because some of the settings are difficult to manage, or even disappear depending on the type of signal you have. I know this happens as a safety precaution, but once you are proficient in flying it, it would be nice to override certain safety features, particularly in Tripod Mode. I highly recommend this drone!

It's Simply AMAZING!
It took a while to get it but it was worth the wait! I have been working with the Dji Inspire 1 Pro for the past couple of years and didn't think I would ever want to use anything else. Really Happy
My first few flights I was a little unsure If I was going to keep the Mavic or not. I really had to tweak my color profiles to get an image I'm happy with. After tweaking all of my settings I am extremely happy with the Mavic. Its size and versatility is amazing. All the new smart features are incredibly easy too. I was really surprised. Id really recommend this to any adventurer on the go.

Sweet
Only few flights so far but it's amazing. It's big jump from phantom 1.1.1 but it's great. Finally I can take it for all my trips. I stop taking phantom on vac because if size and limitation. Well worth buying

Lives up to the hype
The ability to fold down to a small package and the amount of tech packed into this drone are the highlights. While a little delicate, especially the camera and gimbal, it stands up to moderate winds. The gps technology has it auto-landing within 1-2 ft every time and flying accurately out to previously unimaginable distances. Photo/video quality is good (not outstanding) for a camera this small. The menus are a bit scattered. Overall, I have no regrets, even at this pricepoint.

Great drone! Worth the money
I bought it and I had to wait 2 months for it. But when I got it it was worth it. It is amazingly stable and very fast. The camera is great too.

no phone, no go
If you have iPhone 5 or lower, the drone is useless, and you have to have an additional device to use it. box is nice. ONE star. Will not work srtaight of the box, will not work without the internet you have to download aps and activate it. As a gift, it is horrible. No real manual in the box, just small booklet. Now i have to spend another 200$ for a phone just to start it.

Best purchase of 2017
I had the phantom 3 before I bought the mavic pro. The mavic pro is such a huge jump up. The compactness of it is incredible. You just unfold and fly. And all the modes and features are well worth it. Definitely would recommend.

Love this thing!
This is my fifth drone and by far my favorite. Super stable, the features are really sweet. The size alone makes it so nice to bring anywhere and the camera quality is pretty solid

Amazing drone
This is my first drone and I have used my friend's phantom drones before. I have to say the Mavic Pro is a game changer. The built quality, the easy use, the compact size and amazing capabilities are simply amazing. Picture quality and ability to set it up all manually makes this aircraft the best affordable drone in the market.

Foldable drone, professional quality.
The mavic pro is light, compact and portable as described by every review you will read about this tiny drone. Completely worth the investment, An excellent drone for an excellent price. All the function you could ask for without the bulk and problematic travel/ storage problems of less flexable drones on the market.

Love this drone !!!
This is my second DJI drone, and it surpassed all of my expectation. It's compact, great and easy to carry around when I'm filming weddings. Quick assembly, also super convenient. It flies smooth, fast, and professionally. The 4K footage is amazing. The ONLY negative I'd have to say is when connecting my phone to the remote, I have to take off my iPhone case in order for the adaptor to fit. Very trivial issue in comparison to the other amazing features. I'd recommend this drone to anyone!

Honestly Amazing!
I have only had it for less than a week and flown it for over 27,000 meters. I've flown it in Florida and and the peaks of mountains in colorado. So far I have had very little trouble, if not, none.

The best quad under $1k
We've had all of the Phantom drones, 3DR Solo, and Yuneec Typhoon. The Mavic has the best of them all in a compact package that fits in your camera bag. Reliable flight controller, awesome camera, and easy to achieve professional quality footage from the first flight.

Amazing tool
As a first time drone user I am extremely impressed with how easy this drone is to fly and the incredible, steady, detailed quality of the video. I especially like the Tripod Mode which allows very slow and precise movements. The obstacle avoidance system also seems to work very well. The documentation, on the other hand is very weak, and the on-line training videos lean heavily toward marketing.

Impressive tech
Mavic Pro flies great and records quality video. There still needs to be a few firmware refinements but DJI has generally sorted these in the past.
