some things are just misunderstood
folks complaining about this device have misunderstood its purpose. After you land and change batteries to head back up, the removed battery still has some juice left. This device lets you use that remaining juice to recharge other things like your controller or your smartphone... It perfect when you know what its use is...

I would buy this adapter again, never be without it
I use the adapter to recharge my iPad mini after flying...using the remaining power from the used batteries. Quite handy and well thought out item.

Not necessary
The product name and description are entirely unhelpful and misleading. This is not necessary to connect your charger to the hub. This connects to a battery, turning it into a USB power bank to charge other things, like the remote or your phone/tablet, etc

Don't let the description fool you!
You do NOT need this in order to charge all batteries in succession. This item actually hooks up to a disconnected Mavic battery, and then you use THAT battery to charge other items...such as a cell phone, tablet, remote control, etc. It basically turns the Mavic battery into a power bank (external battery). It comes with the Fly More Combo. It works as it should, but the description is not accurate. If you want to turn your Mavic battery into an expensive external battery, this is what you want. Otherwise, it is not needed whatsoever to use with charging hub, etc.

Misidentified product and poor photos
I ordered this because the description made it sound like it was a must to use with the charging hub when in fact it isn't. I didn't really know what I was getting until it arrived and saw the back of it - two USB ports. It's for charging devices like the Mavic Pro remote or a cell phone using a charged Mavic Pro battery. If that's what you want, then it's a great product.
