Cheap but does it job
I have no problems with it. It has no features besides individual level knobs, but this exactly what I needed, as well as some good amplification. I use it with my band in our rehearsal room, because we play through Cubase (I got an e-drum kit). We needed some more amplification in our headphones, and this amplifier provided that and much more, since it also gave us handling of each output individually. Really good for its price, I am very pleased! I cannot really say that I have noticed any "drop" in the sound quality output either.

Very good product
- Got tired of using heavy cordless headphones for my TV and needed an amp to boost my corded headphone volume. This amp allows me and my wife to have two seperate volume controls. Great job - We also find that the amp seems to also reduce noise altho this could just be me...and nothing in the spec says that they have noise cancellation. Overall sound clarity has improved tremendously, though.. - If I HAVE to be picky I would say that maybe the volume controls can be less sensitive. Other than that, its hard to find fault with this amp, especially for my use

Packing would not speak performance
This is perfect for our lectures, I have used this as a audio splitter, I use pre amplifier out put as a input and get 4 outputs. Which we used for our olympus DS70 audio recorder, monitor amplifier, video camera, and live broadcasting device. I get perfect noise less audio, as I can control volume can give us freedom to improve audio quality. This is a perfect compact device. We have 8 channel rack mount audio splitter which is fixed, This unit can be use as mobile unit. Provides more freedom/flexibility. As the features price is also workable.

Nice headphone amplifier
This headphone amplifier has worked very well for me in my home studio. The audio signal doesn't seem to degrade and/or no warmth or brightness is added, so the sound you get is the same as if you'd plug directly your headphones into your interface. I got the dark gray/black version and actually I like it more than the light/white version. The device seems to be of a strong build, at least it looks that it won't break with regular use. The only con I could find, at this price range, is that it lacks an on/off button. Highly recommended.

Solid Headphone Amp!
I use this as an amp for my headphones that I hookup to my Xbox 360. They sound great for my stereo headphones. The build quality is superb and feels solid. My only complaints are that whenever I plug-in in my headphones, it makes a very loud popping noise. This also happens if I plug-in the headphones before I plug-in the power. The other complaint is that the power cord loosely connects to the amp while the headphones and input jacks are very secure. I find that odd. Overall I am pleased though.

Good but not enough power for live use
The product was as advertised and very easy to use. It was exactly as expected and described. As a low cost alternative, it excelled. However, I need it to be powerful as well to give me adequate monitoring during live performances. I found that when I turned the volume controls beyond where 8 would be, the signal distorted heavily. I tried numerous earbuds but the problem continued. My ears are not the best, but I need more power. I have returned this unit in favor of a higher line Behringer amp.

Good budget headphone mixer
I bought this because I needed a device that will enable me to have multiple headphones with different volume levels from my recording interface. For this job it's the perfect device. It sounds just fine, but I think you should be careful with your input and output levels and not crank it too much. The only minus I can think of is that there is no on and off button and you have to manually unplug the mixer every time you want to turn it on and off. Other than that it's a good cheap mixer!

Great solution to a simple problem
We needed separate volume controls for the headphones my wife and I wear during our podcasts. She needs hers hotter than I like, especially because the volume she prefers really aggravates my tinnitus (too many years as a Top 40 disc jockey). The Behringer HA-400 is inexpensive, sounds clean (better than our former solution, which was a splitter plugged into our mixer's headphone jack), and gives us exactly what we need at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

great headphones mixer valid proof
very good as mixer headphones, its price is its strong point, but as is often the case for behringer products, this is of good quality and can also be used for professional purposes. is very robust, basic, but it does its job very well, the only advice is to not go overboard with the volume level at its input, otherwise you will notice a distortion not pleasant. for everything else recommended, for little money you can bring home a great headphones mixer valid proof

Incredible Bargain
This is the second one of these I have bought (the first was given to a needy friend), and I am still amazed that you get such a great little unit for $25. No noticeable hiss, smooth volume controls, dead simple operation, and plenty of volume driving all four outputs. Note that the picture shows the older white model. I received the newer black version which I actually prefer. The HA400 is probably the best value I have ever found in an electronic device.

Great Quality for the price
i bought this headphone amp to be used to allow our drummer to hear click tracks to our backing tracks to play live, this does a fine job and amplifies thesignal more than necessary to allow him to hear over a full band. with 4 outputs this allows us all to have a pair of headphones and practice almost completely in ear, which allows us to hear much clearer and saves us becoming deaf int he future. great product and at just over £15 is amazing value

Behringer HA400
Excellent headphone amp. I've only plugged two headphones at once and it has been enough for me when I've been recording, other artists at my home studio. Very simple looking amp which doesn't take up space. I've placed it on top of my MBox 2 Mini and it sits there nicely. Good quality product which works as well as you would assume. Can't complain at all. Price is not bad at all. I recommend this to everyone who is setting up their home studio.

It does what it says it will!
For me this has been a perfect audio splitter. It is simple, easy to use and it doesn't feel cheap or like it is going to break. I have been using it for band practice with all my other band members. Because everybody has different headphones it is really nice that you can set your own levels . I've owned this for 3-4 months now and there has been no issues with it. Don't forget that this needs a stereo cable for the input!

Great bang for buck!
If you're looking for a cheap alternative to a PA for band practice, definitely buy these. They aren't the best headphone amps out there, by a long shot, but they work. One thing that bugs me about it is the lack of an On/Off button but aside from that it just works super well, with relatively high output and sound quality. Also, I'm pretty sure these are the cheapest in the market with means that they're real good for the price.

It is OK
Good signal slitter. Very straight forward, very easy to use. The sound going through the device almost does not change. But remember that you can not use the device to split signal which was sent through "Aux" (for monitor) from the mixer because it is a mono signal and on the exit from the device only left side of your headphones will work. So use only a stereo signal because the device will not transform mono to stereo.

It Does the Job for a Good Price
I have this connected to my computer to drive headphones and route the audio to my whole-house system. Overall, I like it. The sound quality is good and the size is very small so it fits nicely on my desk. The only drawback is that the power connector can sometimes come loose, but that only happens if you are moving it around. A power switch might also have been nice, but for me it doesn't matter, as I will have it on 24/7 anyway.

Did the job - recommended
Needed a headphone amp urgently for a mixed media installation (music was coming from a DVD player with no internal amp). Thomann delivery was speedy and efficient. Might not be a high end product but it gave the music a real kick and seemed to bring in a bit more bass. Was ideal for a noisy environment (local arts centre). Should be handy in future - can take up to 4 headphones, so great value for the money.

Excellent Headphone Amplifier
I use this product to power pair of head phones using the audio output jack from my laptop. Good amplification and sound quality. The female jacks on the amp are all 1/4 and my laptop as well as my headphones are 35mm so I needed to purchase 1/4 to 3.5mm Male to Female Stereo Adapters for it. It uses external power so even it you're using your laptop on battery, you still need a place to plug in the amplifier.

Does the job!
I am using the MicroAMP HA400 with my ham radio transceiver so that a second listener can have headphones on at our upcoming outdoor event. Last year, I tried just having two headphones connected through a Y-connector, and that frustrated my companion listener, who was not able to control the volume - I wanted it louder, he wanted it softer. So this small amp will solve the problem at a reasonable cost.

Great little unit for the money.
Cheap as chips (like most Behringer products) but does a great job. Why would you pay more? Okay, so it's not as pretty as others and does have a somewhat cheap feel (its fabricated from folded sheet steel), but if you're looking a headphone amp with which to share listening duties, you'll not find a cheaper way of doing it. Yes I can recommend it as an inexpensive solution.

Handy good quality
When you need headphones in a live take, close to musician, it works fine. You can easily put the unit close to the singers. Very good quality for money. Used with a hi-end headphones it sound really good, do not affect the quality. You must have a good power supply. The case is not as robust as other brands but it is ok, and it is very lite. Very good quality for money.

for the money, unbeatable
rugged build, great sound quality for the money, perfect for project studio monitoring. The power adaptor is a little flimsy, so keep the cardboard it comes with (but ultimately, even if that goes, it's standard fitting and voltage, so this doesn't present any problems) at this price, it is impossible to argue with Behringer's no nonsense, strictly functional approach.

Great little amp
I have used this amp in my home studio for over four years and it works great with my AKG Monitor 600 ohm phones as well as low impedance ones. It has always presented an accurate image of what the tracks sound like through my speakers; no gain or loss of high or low end and no problem driving four sets simutaneously. Haven't really experienced any negatives thus far.
