Just a couple quibbles with this desk mic - as purchased, the base is extremely light weight, so I pried off the bottom and filled up the empty space with pennies. Now it seems much more stable. Also, the mic cable grippers on the stand are pretty much useless for the thick gauge wire supplied - if you wanted to force the cable into the channel with a screwdriver or other instrument you probably could, but then you'd run the risk of damaging the insulation. Voice sound quality is ok, particularly when close (not too close! You'll pop your Ps). The USB-C cable plugged into the back of the iMac, and the mic was immediately recognized. For thirty bucks (plus an investment of about eighty cents in pennies), this is a very good deal. ... More

We are using this microphone for Zoom meetings. It really helps pick up our voices since the laptop does not. Everyone can hear us now.

The base is designed so that it bends the wire 180 degrees. I would expect that to damage the wires quickly. The secondary mount adhesive lasted only a couple hours before it fell off. Sound quality is ok but without either way to hold it up and steady it is fairly useless. Luckily it wasn't expensive.

this microphone didn't substantially improve sound, clarity or volume over the computer built-in microphone. You 'd have to be right on top of it in order to see a measurable difference. Luckily it was a cheap investment. Wouldn't recommend however.

Just what I needed: A very simple microphone to use at my desk for virtual meetings. I've heard that it sounds a bit low, but that can be adjusted and I just make sure to place it close. Great for the price.

This mic is easy to use, light and pics up voice like a master. I am so happy I purchased this. I use it on Facebook and YouTube. I highly recommend it.

Trying to insert the microphone into the base securely puts a crimp in the wire.
