ASUS 32 Monitor, Great for Photo Monitoring
If you edit lots of photos, this monitor is amazing. Calibrates well! Sharp, clean. In-box instructions could be better. Manufacturer shows square pictures of Cable connections instead of a straight line. Editing is so much easier with this size monitor. Quality is worth the extra bucks. 3 year warranty.

Monitor Review
So far this monitor is working to perfection. Perhaps the best monitor I ever had in my life.

Amazing monitor - few minor quirks
After my LG 32MU97 died, I looked for replacement. I exchanged nearly 10 monitors. So far this one was the best. It has everything I need - 4k screen (although not cinema 4k now), has Adobe RGB, DCI-P 3, factory calibration in these modes and sRGB, dynamic dimming, anti-flicker, and you can even control brightness and contrast on the pre-calibrated settings. Few things - it came damaged at the back panel - not during the transportation, but mo... Show More

Almost Perfect
Absolutely stunning picture quality! Highly recommend the monitor. One flaw in mine though; it has a small pixel cluster about the size of a ballpoint pen ink dot, that is out in the top 1/4 of the screen and middle 1/3 of the screen.

Replacement Works Great
See my previous review ( Received with broken OSD joystick just like reviewer Rob) The replacement monitor is fantastic. Toggle works fine, no dead pixels, color is amazing. I'm not a professional graphics artist or photographer, but this is the best monitor I have ever owned, clear, sharp and after after calibration with my Spyder5 the the color is fantastic. It was great before but as others recommended, re-calibrate it using the ASUS calibrati... Show More

Received with broken OSD joystick just like reviewer Rob
I think I was sent the monitor that previous reviewer Rob returned. The OSD joystick was broken, you could snap it back into place but if you pushed on the edge of the joystick rather easily, it would detach and just flop around loosely. This would be an annoyance every time you tried to use it. Returned for a replacement.

Not too happy
I purchased this for HDR 4K editing. The monitor has terrible haloing (from area dimming) has terrible flashlighting around the edges. Overheates. But worst of all, in HDR mode (both actual and simulated) the blacks are completely crushed! This means it is very difficult to grade shadows in HDR. The good aspect of this monitor is Adobe 1998 colorspace is nearly perfect, but I dont use it for photo editing.

Yes, you do want this
truly this is one of the better buys I have done this year. Zero issues and it is wonderful. Want another now. The factory color cal is so good I could only make it worse! Great Value. Highly recommended

Amazing monitor!
Really loved it... Loved it so much that I bought two! Since this is probably the biggest monitor Ive ever owned, it took me some timeto get used to it! Be aware though that this one does not include the color calibrator, the one with color calibrator called (Asus ProArt PA32UC-K).

Amazing, yet Im torn about its dual-purpose abilities.
I use the monitor in a dual-purpose setup between a Mac/eGPU(Vega Frontier 16Gb) and a PC (RTX2080Ti) for a variety of purposes. For the Mac, its a truly stunning display to do my video and photography work on. Everything is absolutely true to color and while I had to manually adjust the calibration from my X-Rite a bit, its great. For the PC, its the same. In fact, in non-4K resolution, the PC works better than the Mac. Thats not due to the moni... Show More

Buyer beware!
Nice monitor but the HDR is a hack since it uses DP1.2. HDR will not work if you are using a RYZEN CPU. At this price point they should be using dynamic metadata not static!

PSA UPGRADING FIRMWARE TO v.105 WILL CAUSE CURSOR LAG on mac
So Ive had three of these. The third one almost got sent back as well, but I finally figured it out. First one was used and came with cosmetic damage. Second one the little joystick for controlling OSD was broken in its socket. Third one seemed to be just right. But was finding that on all of my Macbook Pros I was getting cursor lag and other graphics lags. Days of troubleshooting. Nothing. Finally, remember that the third one had had its firmwar... Overall a great monitor
Overall this is a great monitor. To respond to some of the other criticisms in reviews here, my monitor came with zero defects, and after owning it now for 6 months it still has zero defects. The only initial issues I had with the monitor were 1) the default sharpness causing overly grainy text, but this was easily corrected by setting the sharpness to 0, and 2) the slow full-array dynamic dimming response, though with the latest firmware up... Disappointed
So, Ive just bought and returned two pa32uc. I would use this for games, imaging, and photos The second purchase was me hoping I was wrong about the first one The 384 Zone Fald does not work. Dynamic dimming has almost a full second lag before the bright spot dissipates. If you move your mouse around a dark color background, the monitor displays a medium bright comet of lit zone cells behind the movement Bright objects have bleeding auras aro... Show More

Huge
Nice. What do you expect for $2,000. The high pixel density naturally makes everything smaller. Took some fiddling around to adjust fonts sizes, etc., to make it work. Icons are still mostly smaller now, but hey -- that's life. The layout grid feature that I liked so much on my PA249, is stripped down to just one large scale grid instead of several grid densities. Disappointing. The so-called speakers suck. They sound like vibrating pie tins.

CAN NOT BE PROPERLY CALIBRATED - a huge disappointment.
I really wanted to love this monitor. I've been waiting a year for it to come out because it really looked like it could be what I've been waiting for. The image out of the box is esthetically pleasing. Of course it is, it's a big bright 4K monitor. But I didn't buy it to have a subjectively pleasing image. I bought it because it was advertised as a color -accurate professional monitor. I bought it for objective reasons. I want to see colors as ... Show More

A few days in
I've had this for a few days now. I wanted to note that the initial calibration for sharpness was off for me. It was set to 50/100 out of the box which led to a noticeably grainy image. After setting this to 0/100 and then lowering the temperature one notch, I'm really liking the monitor. Great contrast and color. I was really disappointed at first impression and wanted to pass this along for anyone else in the same situation.
