Another winner!
I purchased this iMac with the 4.2 GHz Intel Core i7 processor and the Radeon Pro 580 graphics chip. The computer is used for photo and video editing, and excels in these areas. The display is extremely sharp, the colors are vivid and true. I can highly recommend this unit.

Love it
Just moved up from 2011 21 IMac. Really enjoying the 27 5k screen. It makes analyzing photos for accurate focus much easier. Takes a little longer to move around the screen but not a problem. The savings on the great price paid for some additional ram.

Truncated keyboard, old system, and old computer
Heres another nice mess I gotten myself into. iMac 27 2017 version is a nice computer, if only the Mojave system worked properly. Never had to use Terminal so much to make a computer properly function. And, Apple Tech support leaves a lot to be desired. Google searches yield better answers. But what do you want for $2000! Well, a bit more, including a full sized keyboard. And Im glad my computer is outdated 3 or so weeks after the purchase by a new much faster one selling for the same price!

From Old to New
Im a photographer and Im coming from a late 2009 imac so you already know where Im at things couldnt keep up so I saw this price and couldnt pass it up and I didnt want my imac to die on me in the middle of a job 10 to 11 year old mac, so far so good it hits the spot and now my work flow is faster and Im happy if your there like I was its time to upgrade go for you will not regret it.

My First Mac
My first Mac at age 50. I was worried about the transition from a PC but so far so good. Love the large screen and crisp images. I use it at work and love the fact that we can have multiple windows open on the screen at the same time. B & H was wonderful to work with.

The 2011 iMac I have been using since 2011 was showing signs of time and many hours of use. Deciding to replace it with a newer one was easy. Deciding who to purchase from was not as easy. Stunning Picture
You really cant get much better when it comes to a 5k experience. It has some limitations but you really should know about these before you get it. It can not show 4k or higher DRM streaming. It is made for people that are making and editing their own 4k+ content. It has all the requirements for 4k Netflix but Apple has decided not to turn it on. I plan to put a virtual machine with Windows 10 to get it to do streaming. You can also use bootcampto dual boot to windows 10.

Beautiful machine -Great buying experience
Great product, great price, free and fast shipping. Transferred info from old windows PC using migration assistant app. Took forever using WiFi. Should have used Ethernet cable. I wish I would have switched to iMac long ago. B&H is the only way to go!! If you are hesitant about using this on-line way to buydont worry. Same warranty as if you bought from apple store. Came with High Sierra OS. Easy and free upgrade to latest Mojave OS.

27 iMac is Great!
My last iMac was the 24 Early 2008, purchased in 2008. Although still a dependable machine, it was well past its prime. Still, I hesitated to spend the money for this new Mac. But now Im glad I did. After upgrading the memory to 40GB right away (easy), this thing is super-fast! What a change from my 6GB RAM maxed-out previous machine. Im glad I made the investment, and hope I can get over 10 years use out of it, too!

Replaced a late 2009 iMac. This one is much slimmer and lighter. Easier to shift around for view angle. Called; Apple said they improved the cooling. 2009s ran HOT. This one runs cool. Get the SSD drive!
I opted for the 512GB SSD drive and I am glad I did, I have heard others lament the standard 1TB drive being too slow. I am upgrading from a 2009 machine, so probably most anything would blow my mind. Yet so far, I am happy and impressed with this machine. Especially because I didnt know how I would feel about the OS updates since eight have occurred since I last updated! I am thrilled a can still find ways to access files and folders as I have in the past and am used to doing.

I wish I could use iMac as external monitor
I am forced to keep my windows laptop for one of my Drake tax application does not run on Mac. I have trying to use iMac as a laptop monitor saving my desk space. So far no success. Apple care+ is not help as well.

Great machine...
Wanted something to do video and use Dragon for Mac to do authoring... does all with great speed. Pulled then installed 32gb 2666 ghz ram and it was like a turbo boost to the system.

Upgraded from a Mac Mini which I had for several years and worked well for me. The IMac has great visuals and I starts up much faster. Also, I was skeptical that it would have good sound, but that was put to rest also. Although I hadnt planned on spending that much money, it was well worth the investment. Very happy customer!!

Trouble transferring from PC to MAC
The screen is a thing of beauty. As a photographer, this is important to me. I had a lot of trouble trying to arrange transfer of data from my PC to this MAC. I spent three hours on the phone with Apple, including a reinstall of my software, without successfully using Migration Assistant to make the transfer. I also had trouble getting my Epson printer to work on the MAC. This required several more hours on the phone with Apple and Epson. Things seem to be finally working and I am happy again.

Stubborn Mouse
Very inconsistent performance from the mouse. Sometimes all the buttons work, sometimes not. Very annoying. Youd think a computer costing $1,800 wouldnt have problems like that. But, thats Apple. Monitor is very good
