I had been using an iPad Air 2. The best just got better
I owned the previous 10.5 iPad and it was great at everyday tasks and editing videos etc. I also owned the previous gen Apple Pencil which was awkward to charge in small spaces. not for photographer in the field
I bought one of these for using in the field as a photographer videographer. I didn't expect it to do much other than transferring footage from SD CARD to EXTERNAL HDD, via a USB-C hub. While the Ipad is a very responsive and fast device, FILES APP is totally useless for the transfer purpose. on IOS 13.3, ipad can see all the external drives and cards, no problem with that. can also copy files across them. I am still working out my particular work flow, but with 512gb of storage i can confidently and quickly import full memory cards in the field and work with them in a meaningful way. I travel a lot and the 11inch size looks great and is super easy to hold. I debated the 12.9 but ultimate portability won out. Photos looks amazing full screen. Upgrade from an iPad Air 2 (16GB)
The Good: About the same size as the Air 2 but significantly larger screen. Marginally better sound. Fast processor - I use a graphing calculator program that takes minutes to graph on my (low end) Chromebook but is instantaneous on this iPad Pro. Im a professional fight instructor and have been for the past 18yrs with 8000 hrs total. My last iPad suffered a catastrophic accident requiring replacement. I run software on it with a separate Bluetooth device allows me to see traffic on an aviation map in real-time. Very useful for creatives.
Its nice. Very very nice. I actually am finding that I use it for work more than my laptop. I edit video on the laptop, work on my LR catalogue, do importing and media management etc on the laptop. But I find that Im more creative on the iPad. The beauty of it is that it makes you focus on only one thing at a time. You cant have multiple windows open. My best iPad to date
I have the 11 2018 iPad Pro with 512 GB of internal storage. It is leaps ahead of my previous 9.7 iPad Pro which I loved. Faster, larger display, the 2nd generation Pencil, the fact that the pencil attaches magnetically and charges and that it can be double-tapped to change tools, the access to external dries by USB-C, these are all huge advances in terms of usefulness. Oh boy! Its breathtaking
Moved up from iPad Pro 10.5. Sold mine 5 months ago in anticipation of this. IPadPro 2018 is beyond my expectations. The Liquid Retina displayis gorgeous. Speed is ...as you know faster than many i7 laptops. The design has changed so much since previous generation..almost like a new device. The full screen, True Tone, 120hz display should be enough for any tech enthusiast. The flattened edges add the perfect feel and at 5.9mm its the thinnest device! Love it. Highly recommend it. Oh... and Face ID blows away the Touch ID from previous generation.

So far so good
Bought this for my 11 year daughter who is very intelligent who loves to read and draw a straight A and honor student. I am very proud of her and I am truly blessed to be her father. I bought the iPad pro for her Christmas and it has surpassed our expectations so far it been great. Bought the 2nd Jen Pencil which I believe is a must for this iPad! It just opens up the capability of the pro. Could have gone with other iPads but I wanted the best for my daughter and she deserves it. I you have the money for the iPad Pro I would recommend it.

Only the squared edges prevent me from rating a 5
This was a great upgrade from my previous iPad pro 10.5. The performance is noticeably better and the screen is much more crisp, something that matters as I get a bit older. Bonus is how it works with the new iPencil. All-in-all lived up to all my expectations. Just one reason for not rating a 5 - those squared edges compared to my prior iPad Pro are a little hard to get accustomed to. Picking it up from a flat surface is harder. More importantly, holding it is a different experience. Not as good as the beveled edges previously.

Apple iPad great, Customer service even better!
Love the new 6th generation Apple iPad (but I knew I would...) The reason for the review is not to sell these iPads; I do not think Apple needs help with that, but to let everyone know the OUTSTANDING service provided by B&H Photo. Before purchasing I talked with my IT employed son who said, B&H is a highly regarded company. So I ordered and the result was as expected. Magnificent Upgrade
I have been working with this new ipad for 2 weeks now and absolutely love it! The charging switch to USB-C makes it more flexible, although not with the iphone lightning standard. It was a dream to set up and restore from icloud, is very fast with Wifi/internet and has a monstrous storage capacity. The form factor is, happily, the same as the 10.5 version, but has a noticeable larger screen for reading, photographs, etc. I have had every ipad so far released and this one is the best!

Everything I expected and more from B&H
Had one question before I ordered which was answered by email the next business day. A little apprehensive after reading some reviews, but read more and felt comfortable to buy from B&H. Placed my order on a Sunday and had my iPad on Thursday, across the US. Shipping box was in great condition upon arrival. Packaging inside box was also excellent. These were my two concerns. Bought name brand product for less than anyone else had it advertised for. Am extremely happy I dealt ith B&H.

Perfect Gift
I bought it for my husband's birthday, he was impressed. Full screen retina display, convenient speaker with good quality volume and sound. Easy to handle, not heavy at all and most importantly (for us) thin and powerful. 11'' size is perfect for his work and also cozy to watch series, movies, etc. This model uses the latest fast charging c lightning. B&H has the best price on market and shopping experience was decent. Overall 4.7 stars, you won't regret buying it.

Dont sell your laptop....
Its just so limited by the iOS system thats its on. fast... who knows because iOS is so cumbersome to navigate and move files... need to load images from a camera? first you have to load them in to apple photos, then to Lightroom or what ever your using to edit then go back and delete them From photos . I wouldnt call it an iPad Pro... just the iPad they Should have made a year ago... the lightning connection needs to be replaced with usb c for every device..

Spectacular Product
Right out of the box this 11 iPad device looks different and similar and the same time. It looks special with its edge to edge display and sleek external design. The weight surprised me in how light it is. I checked for curvature due to some users receiving bent devices. I also like the continuity with the iPhones Face ID and gestures. Its ridiculous jumping from device to another and the continuity is not intuitive. Love this device.

Steve Jobs vision completely realized
Ive owned many iPads and each time I found something lacking. The last generation iPad Pro got close, but Pencil v1 was clunky and the home button just seemed so old. With the new iPad Pro these are solved. If you add the blazing performance then you get as close we can get. Now its just up to iOS to make this a laptop replacement. Without a file browser and wider support for USB-C devices I will hold onto my MacBook Pro for now.

Really Love This
I didnt expect to replace my laptop with an iPad Pro but this is close. I use it much more than my computer now. Four work, it is all I bring. I really love this device and found it to be very powerful. I few adjustments over time could make this a laptop replacement. All my work emails come to this. I put VMWare on it so that I can tap into a virtual windows machine with my company. Incredible what I am doing with it.

I got this version as a curiousity, late night purchase and I LOVE B and H service is AMAZING and shipped same day and arrived a day earlier than expected ) my only regret is not getting the 512 storage now that Im so please with it and see Ill be using it more than I expected... Love the 11
I got this as an upgrade to my smaller iPad and I love it! The screen is gorgeous and since I own the iPhone X, I dont miss the home button. The Face ID hasnt failed me yet! Set up was pretty easy except that my other iPad was set up for a beta tester. Since my backup was a different iOS version, I wasnt able to restore it from my latest backup. I wish Apple would start rolling out magnetic covers for this size.

BEST IPAD EVER + GREAT SERVICE
Ive had iPads before and this one is just a lot better! Probably the best tablet on the market. Extremely fast and gives you a new experience! I use it as a student and highly recommend for taking notes, browsing the web and watching shows and etc. Shoutout B+H for great shipping as it came on time, with no damage! Perfect
In my opinion this new IPad Pro 11 is the perfect size. Its display is plenty large while maintaining a reasonable physical size. Its fun and easy to use. I wasnt sure about the Face ID and lack of physical home button, but I find it works very well and is quite intuitive in use with virtually no learning curve. I also really like the Apple Pencil 2 which is a separate purchase.
