So glad I got this and not the dot. The screen is brilliant, songs come up with the lyrics like karaoke, you can also facetime. Well worth the price. Definitely recommend.

Great as a bedside clock
Really easy to set up and connect to my Amazon Echo. Sound quality isn't great but works well enough as a bedside clock with the bonus of having all the Echo capabilities.
