I have bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas so I can't really review it until I have asked her but going on the one that my son has I think she will be very pleased with it, they ask it questions and also tell it to do things, and they are very happy with it.

Very useful
Really pleased with the echo dot looks really good sat on the worktop in the kitchen, have found it very useful to use for playing the radio, reminders and timers but I’m sure as time goes on it will be used for many more things and doesn’t take up heaps of space.

Looks good and goes with the modern style of the living room and even though 10 is as loud as it will go, it’s still quite loud! Easy and fast to set up, even to start your subscription with Amazon Music. So helpful, instead of just searching, we now just ask Alexa!

Brilliant upgrade
Brilliant upgrade on the 2.0 - sound quality is improved so much you don’t need to connect an external speaker to listen to music, the design is sleek and smart and Alexa hears you better than the older model. Would definitely recommend, and will be getting another.

Fantastic gadget!
Bought this for my bedroom after being so pleased with the one I got as a present for Mother's Day and use downstairs. Fantastic sound and very neat. Great for tuning in to my favourite radio stations and my Grandchildren love asking Alexa for jokes and doing quizzes.

Great gadget
Put off buying one of these as thought iPhone iPad was enough But I was wrong really easy to use and great for music and information Kids and grandparents love it So now my whole family has one Prefer this for looks and ease of use over the other dots available

Brilliant little thing my third!
I have three of these and all my lights connected has done away with alarm clock and with whisper enabled you can check the time in the middle of the night without disturbing your partner. In the kitchen it’s replaced timer and radio can’t recommend these enough

Plenty of fun features and very easy to use. Just plug in and go! Connect your amazon account for a more personalised experience. It offers great sound quality and can perform a multitude of tasks. A worthy investment for sure. Thinking of getting one for each room!

Better than expected
Sound quality so much better than expected for the size and previous reviews, once connected very easy to use. Is a shame that it always has to be plugged in to work, would be great if it was portable. As always fab customer service and speedy delivery from Argos :)

The amazon echo is amazing
I am very impressed with the amazon echo it’s very responsive and helpful. You are able to listen to music as well as request information and updates it really does help enhance day to day life I strongly recommend to anyone who may be interested in purchasing it.

We have several in the house brought this for parents as a present will save them getting up to change radio or put a cd on very handy to help with information and connects easy well worth having one or two around the house links with other things ie light bulbs etc

Our new addition
This is wonderful but of technology. Easy to set up and to join our internet network. Nice design, sits unobtrusively in the room. Sound quality is reasonably good. I would highly recommend, and will probably buy the next version up, the Echo One for better sound.

Very handy
The product is great overall, it even comes with a free trial of amazon music. However, there have been two occasions where a red light flashes saying to try again later, this issue can be resolved by turning the device on and off again but it was an inconvenience.

Big thinking, little device
Fantastic little device! Proves the old saying is true “Too think BIG, you have to think SMALL” and that is exactly what Echo is. I would recommend to anybody. Easy to set up and is the definition of a plug and play device, as that’s literally what I did.

The Echo Dot does exactly what it's required.
Does what you expected from it, it can be connected over a mobile hotspot as well. I now make hands-free calls using the echo dot, finally, I got 200-minutes international skype calls after linking my skype account with the DOT. That's like getting a cash-back.

my second Alexa Echo Dot , one upstairs and down .
When in kitchen add items to your shopping list as and when required . Use the timer for boiled eggs , cakes and cooking roasts . Reminder for events happening daily . Tells me the weather report each morning . Reads me my kindle books . Wouldn’t be without it .

Great little number.
I purchased the echo dot for my bedroom so Alexa has coverage all over my house, easy to set up my old echo didn’t get upset that I have a new dot, they simply become good friends, they chat away to each other... I now find myself saying “ Alexa ssssshhh...”

Excellent product
Always been Apple fan but their smart speaker was way out of my price range. Have to say so impressed bought my daughter one as well and she loves it. Music plan for this device is £3.99 per month so that doesn’t brake the bank either. Definitely a good buy.

fun and functional
Bought for the grandchildren for Christmas. They ask for jokes etc. but has quiz and other educational games so not just fun. Asked the 8 year old what he thinks of it, he said I love it. That sums it up. For adults it is very functional but for kids a lot of fun.

AMAZING
We bought two for our daughters at Christmas and they’re fabulous. I’m planning to get one for our living room. You can do so much with them. Send messages, use as intercom,play games not to mention a versatile speaker too... we’ve had hours of fun already.
