Bought for my nans birthday. We already have one and thought it would be a good idea... she loves music and is partial to burning a frozen pizza... so now she can set an alarm not to burn said pizza while listening to a bit o Roy orbison (other music artists available) we have a lot of fun with ours. My 6 year old is obsessed with ours and am thinking about getting another just for her. We love Alexa

Not for me
Being slightly hard of hearing the tone of voice was not Comfortable for me and so I decided to exchange the Alexa for a Google Home which has a very clear female voice. I’m now happy.

Discreet!
Very easy to set up, sits subtly behind a photo frame in our house. Good sound quality both quiet and loud.

Amazing echo dot!
Love my new echo dot, so easy to set up and easy to move around the house if needed.. perfect for all age groups.. I suspect the children will all.want them for Christmas

Still Learning
Alexa seems to treat every question separately, even if you ask two questions in a row about the same subject, whereas the Google home mini will get into more of a conversation with you if you ask it related questions

The whole family loves it
Product was very easy to set up, to connect to and to use. We use it for music, alarms and asking about the weather. It was bought as a birthday present, was very well received and has been used every day since.

Fantastic Echo Dot
This is one of those gadgets that anyone who can afford it must have! It's been a joy to see how different everyone in my household relates/ uses it ...especially my toddler whose speech is rather sketchy. He is improving his pronunciation, just so Alexa can understand him. A lovely, fun purchase!

Compact and easy
I have an Echo Dot myself which my granddaughter uses,so i thought i'd buy her one of her own. She loves that she can play music just by asking and get it to tell her facts and jokes. Would definitely recommend this

Great little gadget
Really useful as its so portable, can listen to music anywhere in the house. Haven't done much else with it yet. My only disappointment was that I can't listen to my free Spotify account on there, would need to upgrade to premium.

Just love it! Will have one in each room soon and reserving one online and collecting it from Sainsbury’s was such a doodle, will be using that service again!

Better than expected
Sound quality so much better than expected for the size and previous reviews, once connected very easy to use. Is a shame that it always has to be plugged in to work, would be great if it was portable. As always fab customer service and speedy delivery from Argos :)

My Echo dot is perfect

Does exactly what it says. Brilliant
Works perfectly. Such a simple thing that does make life slightly easier. Leave mine on the radio for my dog during the day which was the main purpose when purchasing but I’ve fallen into using it for everything. Brilliant and easy to use.

Doesn't look like a speaker
I have this in my bedroom so I can connect my phone to it by bluetooth and listen to music when getting ready in the morning. It doesn't look like a speaker so looks ok on my dressing table. I'm very pleased with it

Great product!
I purchased this primarily to set reminders for my elderly parents and to make it easier for them to access their favourite music. It was very easy for me to set up for them and it does the job very well. Alexa is extremely helpful and a good deal for the price. The one thing I would say is that if you're looking to connect to Spotify you do need to have Spotify premium, and once connected I had to unplug and plug the echo dot before it connected correctly. Otherwise fantastic product!

Fabulous for a bedroom
Great sound for a bedroom it's my second one purchased just to be made aware you have to up your Amazon music to 9.99 month if you have more than one device.. In my opinion if you love music well worth it
