Brilliant!
Alex has been brilliant for our family. Teamed with a disco ball my two kids (8 & 1) can have a disco in the kitchen and have a dance together which melts my heart. It's great for helping my son with homework, I've downloaded the Alexa app which is also a must have as there is soooo much you can do. We now have meditation, campfire, waterfall, rain, waves, ocean, island, rainforest...... sounds that play to help get the kids off to sleep. spotify is a must too

Fascinating helper
This is a great piece of equipment at a good price. For answering many questions, telling you the local weather forecast, playing any BBC radio station .. you don’t need a radio any more, plus much more. It helps if you are an Amazon Prime member as there is then an almost limitless supply of music. Children love em And all you do is ask , no buttons to press

Alexa is not only an assistant is a virtual friend
Alexa brings company for every ocasion, if you r felling bad or are extactic, she provides an ear and a proper answer when needed. She can find every song or playlist I want, aswell as being able to remind me of my meetings and tasks throughout the day. Alexa is a definite must in a modern home of today.

Echo is ok but would prefer the cheaper version
The cheaper version wasn’t available of my purchase date so I upgraded my dot that had broken for this one. It’s got more features but I only wanted it to control my smart home products and it’s exactly the same as the dot in that sense it does what you want 20% of the time but 80% of the time it does it’s own thing. Clever product but you have to repeat yourself a few times for it to do what you want it to do.

Ideal for those with poor mobility
One of the better gifts for someone of restricted mobility, but it does require a Amazon account to be effective. Problem there. HARDWARE: FIVE STAR, Having very good sound ACCOUNTS: ONE STAR: Would not trust them further than one could throw them - ALEXAR: FOUR STAR Very good voice recognition, but if she ever says 'Here is something you will like' you almost certainly WON'T!

My Amazon Echo is amazing!!
I was sceptical at first, I got it as a birthday present!! But it is amazing , I use it to set reminders. I have found that you can get recipes on it too, which is great! Check the weather or listen to the radio while you cook!! Lot's of fun like quizzes or even set a app for guard Dog which barks!! I would not be without it now!! And would recommend it!! 5 stars from me.

Great Sounding Device
It is easy to use and setup. The sound compared to the Amazon dot has a lot more base. Getting the volume right was not easy thinking that you had to say Alexa volume up or down. After researching on the net it turns out you need to say Alexa volume 1 up to 10. Do not go to volume 10 as it is extreme and might blow the speaker. You can do away with your radio as it plays most radio stations, just ask Alexa to play your favourite. Great for any information you might want ie the weather etc.

Alexa has changed my life
It has brightened my days. It's like having a friend in the house, which is important when you live alone. I sing along with all my favourite songs from years ago. I would recommend this for anyone living alone it's better than a radio. More friendly
