Not what I expected
Not easy to set up if you live in an area with weak mobile reception/ wi fi . Once opened cannot be returned, even if cannot be successfully connected.

my elderly dad loves it, i would recommend it

I had bought an echo 2nd generation as a wedding gift recently and became quite envious, so I had to get my own. Using my Argos card I was able to purchase it and defer my payments until a later date. Great product and a great way to pay. WIN WIN for me.

Alexa is fabulous
We bought this for my mother in law’s birthday. She loves it and can’t get enough of it. I have an Alexa myself and I love the gospel station so much. Alexa has brought me much joy since I’ve had her.

This was suggested as a way to help organise my day and also to listen to my Spotify. All I can say is, it's the best thing I've bought. Getting an audio reminder is so much more helpful than just a beeping alarm.

NIce looking stylish colour perfect for any room

Great piece of kit
Bought this as an early Christmas present to myself as I thought it might be quite a novelty. The Echo is superb quality an sounds pretty good too. It does some amazing stuff, I've got it set to control lamps, kettle and TV. I've set up routines so it completes certain tasks when I say the right phrase. Coupled with Prime there's a great selection of music to listen too or even more with music unlimited. Remember to clear history periodically though on Amazon. It records more than you realise.

Trendy looking Amazon echo bought for a gift
Bought fir my Mum to listen to music via her Spotify account, the sound quality is great. She also uses as a timer vin her kitchen. She's new to this type vof technology, she's seen us use ours at home so we bought one for her for a milestone birthday. There are a lot of ways to use Alexa, if you have a question you're not sure about ask Alexa, she can tell you a joke or s limerick. The grandkids can't believe Grandmas getting with it! Would recommend

Alexa, the new addition to our family!
Bought this second generation Amazon Echo for our family and we are literally queuing up to "talk" to her! amazingly handy for just about everything (the only problem with having one is it makes you even lazier, you don't even have to type in a question!) would recommend in a heartbeat, an excellent product.

Better and more useful than expected
I bought the echo more as an internet radio than anything else but have found the voice commands surprisingly useful, alexa whats the footie scores change station that kinda of thing. The sound quality is very good and loud decent bass not earth shattering but good. I do worry about what its hearing but phhfff it is useful more than i expected.

My 3rd Alexa and still great
I currently have the echo plus and the Amazon Show in my living room and kitchen. I wanted something for the bedroom, the obvious choice was the echo spot but it’s speaker is too small and tinny. The Echo is great as it has the sound quality of the Echo plus. Great for switching on the heating via my nest app or turning off the bedroom lights.
