The hype is real - I love this lens! I prefer the manual focus to the auto as, once you get accustomed to, it is much faster. It is a bit pricey but in my opinion worth it.

Super sharp
I recieved this lens a week ago. Took it out photographing 4 days straight. Autofocus was fast and accurate. The pictures are super sharp. This is one of my favorite lens.

Very smooth
Much nicer build quality than my Canon 70-200 f2.8 L ll lens. Sharp, handles well. I really like the focus buttons on the side of the lens. I am happy with this purchase.

So Glad I Purchased This Lens
I was worried that this lenses would not be a good as the FE70-200 F4. It is better in my opinion. It is very shape and has some nice improvements over the F4 lens.

Why did I wait so long....
Have only owned this lens a short time however I'm very impressed with it. The compression when used for portraits is fantastic. Exceeds my Nikon 70-200 2.8

Great for close up sports

Great lens but doesn't stand up against the newer Nikon
I have previously owned the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR. The Sony feels heavier, has a larger hood and has a hard time finding focus in lower light.

Fantastic Lens
This is a great lens. Feels great and the images produced by this lens are awesome. Nothing bad to say about it. If its in your budget just buy it.

Amazeballs
Wowza - my one and only complaint would be the zoom ring is a little loose for me personally but better than any zoom lens I have ever used.

Fast and Sharp
Incredibly fast. A little on the heavy side. It needs to be supported by a hand if shooting with an A6000/6300/6500.

Build like a tank
Kind on the heavy side, good sharp glass in all stops. Its he only zoom in my kit as I shoot mainly with primes.

Fast lens, heavy weight
Everything I need zoom and low light wise. But it is heavy. An ounce in the morning is a pound in the evening.

FE 70-200mm GM Lens
