Great camera and pretty easy to make a good photo. Compact design and the 2.8 lens renders clear photos 24 - 200 MM. Sony must look at their owners manual. It is totally inadequate for the power of this camera. Spent a great deal of time on the internet looking for third party reviews and operation tips. After over 600 pictures in Yosemite, I'm beginning to understand the camera better. Even with this set back it is a fine camera for travel.

After 2 days of the Sony rx10ii I sold Nikon DSLR equipment
Love this camera, amazingly fast auto-focus, razor sharp images, superior video. I'm a pro corp photographer, this is my personal camera...finally an all in one camera with pro quality. My only critique is that shooting high speed video is a little awkward, but the results amazing at 480fps or below. 1080 and 4k video is pro quality, still images are pro quality, the lens and body are pro quality. Even at $ this is a great value.

Fantastic Little Camera, but not for low light
I purchased this camera as a C camera to my FS700 and A7S. It cuts very well with the other Sony cameras and I love the 4K video! It also has a wonderful 24-200 2.8 equivalent lens. At $1300 it has a lot to rave about, but it has one major downfall, it's pretty bad in low light. I personally don't push it past 400 iso. Great IQ under good lighting, but when it gets a even a little dark, I put it away and reach for my A7S.

Didn't convince me
I was looking for camera combining decent 4k video for casual clips (mostly indoors) and stills. For casual usage the video is great with good light. But not so good in low light. Continuous autofocus is very bad (indoors). Stills are ok, if you shoot RAW. On par with other 1in sensors. The biggest problem is price. For half of that it would be probably a keeper. I returned the camera.

Super!
This camera has the best video quality hands down! From 4K to 1080p! The slow motion is very nice to good quality up to 500fps. The only thing that bugs me about this camera is when your taking a video and zoom in, the lens moves around while zooming in so its not the smoothest. But other than that perfect! Constant F2.8 is good too. Photos are very good too.

Great B camera for video
Just did a wedding this past weekend with this as one of our b cameras, it was great. Checked out high frame rate it needs a lot of light to get good results. The info that Sony includes is very poor. Had to search on line for hours to understand how to set up s log 2 which is a major reason to get this camera.

incredible camera, I use it A LOT
I am the owner of an a6000 and a7S, but this is becoming my favorite camera. I use it for portrait photography and video production. the ND filter is SOOO useful and I am so impressed with the quality of the images it produces in video AND in photos.

Great and Solid camera
Great camera with a solid lense and tons of feature. I do really like it, as all around camera it will do everything you need to. looking forward to learning more how to use it better. the high frame video is a nice to have but really not that useful

Good camera for the price
I've enjoyed this camera since it arrived. The price is great and the features are even better. The battery life isn't very long due to the smaller batteries and the 30 min clip limit is a little annoying but I've been able to work with it.

BRILLIANT CAMERA
I am so happy to have this camera as my second camera for my travels. The pictures are stunning & razor sharp. 4 K quality is amazing. Highly recommend this camera for serious photographer. The Carl Zeiss lens is flawless

Amazing
Good choice. I already had the Sony A7s and she does a great job as a second camera. Believe that even as the main camera of the job. I highly recommend it. S-log 2, 4k, SuperSlow and 24-200 2.8. All impeccable.

Great camera, SONY support just about nonexistant
I am accustomed to Canon's excellent customer service and support. It is a shame that SONY produced such a terrific compact camera - with all dslr capabilities - and yet offer inadequate support.

Great bridge camera
An excellent Bridge camera for the family outings and scenarios where you don't want to lug along your DSLR. Small sensor, but good enough for what it's meant for.

No touch screen.... whaaaattt?
Will see how good the quality of the 4K is on this camera, the downside is theres no touch screen, a reason why Im not purchasing two of this camera :(

What I have seen..
What I don't like about the RX10 and the RX10-II it's that the blue color tend to bleed, its seems that it's not a broadcast accurate color.

Great substitute for DSLR
Took to event that wouldn't allow detachable lens cameras. Very pleased with results. Not a pocket camera, but great quality.
