Always good drives
Ive used Samsung 850 and 860 EVO drives for several years now and havent had any failures (out of probably 90 drives). They perform well and have excellent imaging software.

Works fine but was short on storage
installed and working fine but noticed it only had 932 gb of storage available. Not worth the effort to take out and return. Would have been 5 stars had there been 1tb like advertised.

Great Drive
Have this in my wifes gaming system, it boots windows about 2-5 seconds slower than the 960EVO, but both are near 30 seconds to boot. Boot times and Game load times are both ridiculously fast on both M.2 drives.

Samsung quality
This is my 3rd evo SSD and I have nothing but good things to say. The other 2 are still running strong and are 5 years old. Consistent speed and reliability.

Should serve the Photographer I built this for well.
This will be used as a second SSD (OS on a 1TB 97o EVO plus) for working files and caches along with 2- 8TB storage disks on power switches. CPU is an Intell i9-9900K and the review reads: This was put in a Gigabyte z390 Designare MB as a build for photo and video editing. It went well and burn in and benchmarks all passed with flying colors!

Recognized as a legitimate SSD. 970 EVO plus was NOT.
I installed this in my Asus laptop as a data drive along with a 970 EVO Plus as my os drive. My laptop, the Asus FX 502v, can take an m.2 SSD and a 2.5 form factor together in the same laptop. Blinding Fast, easy Installation
This SSD is all its cracked up to be -- very fast (Im using a SATA-3 connection, 6GB/sec). Installation was a snap, especially with 2.5 to 3.5 adapter bracket B&H recommended. I installed this drive in a Windows 10 PC that is about 10 years old (Intel Core 2 Quad [email protected], 8gB ram, 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive.) Small investment transforms older PC!!
I picked up this 1TB 860 EVO SATA III SSD and, prior to installing, backed up all my data to an external storage drive, for safety. SSDs are the way to go
I owned a dell laptop Intel 7 processor with 16g memory and 1TB HDD. I was not satisfied with the HDD so I finally bought into my second Samsung SSD and all i wonder now is why i have waited so long. Now boot up times, opening apps is fast now. wait times are dramatically reduce. CON: No cables come with the SSD so you will need to purchase cabling to transfer everything over from your HDD to the SSD before installing it. No cables needed if you are going to do a fresh OS install.

Works Perfectly
Drive plugs in to my SATA cables fine. The separate Samsung drive software, which you can freely download from Samsung, ran without problems. The drive clone process (which includes the operating system) took about 4 hours. Windows boots up very quickly now. Havent had any problems running any applications. Note: The 2.5 drive may require an optional adapter bracket for 3.5 drive bays if your PC lacks as 2.5 drive bay.
