Amazing Travel Camera
I participated in an Advocate Program on behalf of Panasonic USA. I received product samples as part of my participation. All opinions are my own. Hands down if you're looking for a camera that is a point and shoot but you want pro features - this is the best one I've played with yet. over and over I tested out point and shoot cameras on my adventures to compliment my pro gear. It just seemed easier to have something small for quick shots while o... Show More

Great On-The-Go Cam
I participated in an Advocate Program on behalf of Panasonic USA. I received product samples as part of my participation. All opinions are my own. I was pretty stoked to have been able to test this bad boy out before it hit market and overall I highly recommend this model. When I received this camera I was impressed with the look and feel of it. It had a good weight to it and the screen was a great size. The function buttons can be a little confu... Show More

Fantastic Portable with Professional Features
After searching for a few years for a walk-about camera (didn't want to carry my DLSR & Lenses) I finally decided on this camera. The zoom range is perfect for city walks and vacations, the range finder and touch screen are two great alternatives and the large sensor outputs JPG and RAW! Shooting modes from fully automatic to fully custom make it equally as functional as my main set of gear. Other similar cameras trade off smaller sensor size for more zoom, don't have a view finder or don't output RAW.

Great Travel Camera
Purchased this as a companion to my FZ1000 and to replace the ZS50 which I was not happy with. Although not great in low light situations, in good light it rivals the pictures I get with the FZ1000.

A perfect fit for the devoted enthusiast
First of all, this: I participated in an Advocate Program on behalf of Panasonic USA. I received product samples as part of my participation. All opinions are my own. And also: I am not a professional photographer. I love photography -- I love taking pictures and I love looking at them. But I'm fairly new to the discipline and there is a lot left for me to learn. The Lumix ZS100 has dozens of amazing features and a seemingly infinite degree of fl... Show More

Pocket Sized Powerhouse
I participated in an Advocate Program on behalf of Panasonic USA. I received product samples as part of my participation. All opinions are my own. The ZS100 has 'large camera' features in a small, all-in-one package. The Leica 25-250MM lens offers incredible flexibility to shoot from wide to 'super zoom' based on my needs. I have been impressed with this camera's performance in low light situations, for portraits, landscapes, nature photography, ... Show More

A lot of bang for your buck
I participated in an Advocate Program on behalf of Panasonic USA. I received product samples as part of my participation. All opinions are my own. The Lumix DMC-ZS100 has been serving as my secondary camera for the last few months as I normally shoot with a Canon EOS 70D. Many shots I took with the Lumix I was able to compare side-by-side with shots from the Canon which cost around twice to three times the price (including lenses). From that pers... Show More

My kind of camera for my kind of pictures
This camera takes amazing night photos- a picture of a building lit by a high pressure sodium streetlight (orangey glow),much less grain in low light than my other camera. A custom white balance that compensated for the streetlight. Feature packed without a big camera bag full of lenses.

No Cine D or Cine V.
I believe this ad is a bit misleading as it claims in the overview section for Photo Style, Cine D and Cine V. I recently purchased the ZS100 to go along with my GH4. Was disappointed upon receiving the camera that those two Photo Styles were not available. I'm sure not a B&H misrepresentation but a Panasonic error...

Excellent quality
I'm a travel writer/photographer and shoot in at least 20 countries a year. I usually travel with two DSLRs and a compact backup. The past year my backup has been the Panasonic ZS50. The camera has been great when I'm in cities where I'm not comfortable walking around with my DSLRs/lenses, or at theme parks with my kids with a small backpack, or when I just don't want the weight of the DSLR. So when Panasonic reached out with an offer to let me t... Show More

An impressive new member of the Lumix family
I participated in an Advocate Program on behalf of Panasonic USA. I received the Panasonic Lumix ZS100 digital camera as part of my participation. All opinions are my own. I ordinarily shoot with a professional digital SLR so I wasn't sure what to expect when I agreed to test the ZS100 for Panasonic. Out of the box, the camera has a nice finish and a very substantial feel. It is well built and heavier than your typical point and shoot but still v... Show More

Very good but for me the rx100 iv won
I spent a lot of time with this camera and took the rx100 m4 along for the ride. The pros : Descent still image quality. Good slow motion Video at about 100 fps Post focus was cool. 4K burst was good at getting the shot but... Good zoom Cons: 4K burst produced blurry images for me most of the time. Image quality at zoom was just ok. I know what can you expect. Camera did not feel as solid as the Sony. No flip screen. Evf was a joke. Awfully. I wanted the zoom but I just loved holding the Sony and loved it's 1.8 image quality. Plus slow motion of 960fps was fun.

Panasonic ZS100 Travel-Zoom Camera with 1-inch Sensor
The ZS-100 is at most just slightly better than the ZS-50 (which costs much less) which has a 4x smaller sensor but a 3x longer maximum zoom. The Canon G3x has the same sensor but is far better in JPEG image quality. I'd like to like this camera better, since I paid full MSRP for it (and I intend to keep it), but I think Panasonic let the quality slip on this one. The lens is branded Leica, but isn't near as good as the lens on the Panasonic LX-100.

Amazing Camera
This small pocket-able camera with 1 inch sensor and super zoom 25mm-250mm lens can replace most of travel zoom lens on APS-C, M43 or Full Frame cameras. Nice touch screen and design with additional 5 or more customizable function keys by using touch screen. In addition, a lot of photo functions and filters to play. Highly recommended!

Much better than point-n-shoots in terms of image quality. Nice compact size. Video images are quite good, even under overcast. Still images can be stunning. The auto panning feature (4k Live Cropping) works well enough however you have to remember to set it to 4k first! (A few too many bells-n-whistles in my book though). Zooming is smooth. Optical zoom is sharp, iZoom is not bad, digital zoom is, typically, poor. Stabilization is good but no re... Show More

Great little camera!
This camera is simply fantastic! The size is just right, and the added zoom range is the icing on the cake. I only wish it had a tilting LCD.

Best pocket camera so far.
Have been using the zs100 for about two weeks and have logged over 500 mostly experimental shots along with quite a few keepers and can't be happier with this camera! The zs50 has been my go-to pocket camera for the last year or so, but the superior photo quality and ease of use of this camera puts it on top of that list. As close to perfection for my needs as possible I think.

Great travel zoom and nice video camera
I absolutely love this camera - I already have the Sony RX100 - which is nice and small - but focal range is only 24-100mm aperture F1.8-4.9 and no 4K - So I got the Canon G7X with 24-100mm F1.8-2.8 - and touch LCD - Touch shutter - but no 4k - so I got the RX100m4 - very costly - yes a nice but 4k is worthless as it only lasts 3min in warm weather - overheats - and focal range only 24-70mm - nice but no 4k really - no Touch LCD - Now I got the L... Nearly Perfect Travel Camera
Great for travel, this versatile camera fits in a large pocket (i.e., not in your jeans pocket but easily in khaki pants or a jacket pocket). I like the zoom range (25mm to 250mm optic, up to 1000mm digital) and the EVF, which although smaller than ideal is very helpful in bright sunlight. Photo quality very good, sufficient for very large prints. Incredible (if overwhelming) number of controls. One small gripe the camera is unusually slippery, but I added a Flipbac G3 Camera Grip ($10), which solved that problem.

Pretty Good, one issue
I am a Canon guy. So, this camera has taken some time to get up to speed on use. I like the quality of the pictures and the camera capabilities. The one area where you might get hosed is on the raw images. I always shoot raw. But, this camera's raw images are not really like Canon raw images. And, that causes a stack of problems in post. Perhaps it's a lack of an industry standard. But, using various different Mac software, the raw images in this camera are a bit of a pain.

Great travel and inconspicuous candid photography camera
I'm a relatively new convert to the mirrorless cameras having purchased my first, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000, about a year ago. Before that, I was a lifelong pro Nikon user for over 25 years as a photojournalist for several major newspapers. But the convenience of having an all-in-one design, electronic viewfinder and great image quality (even on a 1-inch sensor) has me convinced that the technology has caught up to make a much more user-friend...
