Alot of camera
The camera in the process of learning all this camera can do. I love Lumix cameras and wanted to step up from the point and shoot I currently own but not have to lug around the lenses of a SMR (which I owned before) This produces great pictures.

Great camera!
Gave up on carrying around lenses when I compared my photos to those I could get with my husband's FZ1000. Finally purchased one for myself. Couldn't be more pleased with the photos I capture with this camera. It is absolutely amazing!

AMAZING
For the price point this thing is awesome!! Picture quality great.. Professional features.. Is it perfect? NO .. No touchscreen, build quality questionable but when comparing price to feature set its prob the best deal around by far!!

Most versatile camera ever...
This Lumix does just about everything that the much more expensive and cumbersome SLRs do and it does them very well indeed. There is no further need to lug around a suitcase full of accesories when this Panasonic nicely does it all.

Excellent Camera
Very nice camera - a bit pricey, but well worth it. Takes great photos. Can make 11 x 17 at 300 ppi and still look great. Love how far it zooms in. I'm not a pro photographer, but I am impressed with this bridge camera. Super fast.

Flash not working
Camera feels great and is decent images but the flash cannot be selected from the menu i have read the manual and hopefully will find a solution ,if not will have to return it .if some one knows a solution please let me know

Great camera...Glad I bought it
My first shots with the FZ-1000 was at a motocross race. Used the movie function and a few photos. Was pleased with the results. Still learning all the options with this camera. Good camera when I don't have my DSLR camera.

large bridge camera
I have been shooting with Panasonic superzooms for a long time, but was surprised at how much bigger the FZ1000 was compared to my FZ200. For anybody used to the smaller sized cameras this will be hard to get used to.

Awesome camera!!
I love it! I had been looking around for a good camera and came across this one. Picture quality is great! Videos are even better! Records in 4k and the hdmi output is exactly what I needed. I recommend to anyone!

It Does More Each Time I Use It!
I no longer wanted to haul around a camera backpack filled with interchangeable lenses; especially when I moved to AZ. This has made my outings far more enjoyable and manageable. Pics are great no regrets at all.

Not an easy camera for a newbie
I purchased the product for an upcoming safari trip. I wanted a good camera that produced quality pictures and only required one camera lens. This camera is difficult to use beyond the point & shoot functions.

So far so GOOD!
I'll be using this as a stationary B roll camera for HD 1080p documentary footage primarily. Using the 4K setting it will allow me to zoom, and pan within the frame down to 25% and still have an HD mage.

Very Happy
Sorry about being slow to respond. The range of photo and and effects that are in this camera are mind boggling.I am still learning what I can do, its great and I am very happy with how its going so far.

Very good camera, excellent price....
It is a very good camera considering its price. 4k Video recording is very good and very good slowmotion 1080i. The photographs are very good with good color and quality, it is a very versatile camera .

Fantastic lens!
I'm just getting to know this camera. The Leica lens is a real plus. And it does stop action. I always wanted to do that. Can't wait to try that out. There's not much it doesn't do. Recommend it highly!

A must have camera
I've had the camera for two weeks. I'm taking indoor, nighttime and outdoor pictures with outstanding photo results. I plan to take a local photography course to atempt to master the use of this camera.

I use photography to capture subjects for my painting career in photo shoots and also to photograph my work with accurate color capture. The RAW image capture of this camera is spectacular to work with.

Making Photography Fun Again
Serious Amateur now using the FZ1000 as my daily carry. Remote Flash is big plus Remote control via cell phone is a plus Would like to see a remote control by Panasonic for easier setup and operation.

camera noise
The camera makes a constant low level noise it is very annoying. All the reviews are true about it being a great camera but they do not ever talk about this noise. It is still a very good camera.

Love the features
I wanted a camera easy to use with a good zoom. This definitely has it. Also like the amount of light that comes in when taking a photo in low light without a flash. Also like the view finder.

It's a winner
Great mirrorless camera. Simple to use and great zoom capacity. Lens is exceptional. Currently own Canon and Pentax 6x4.5 digital. This camera is lightweight with exceptional picture density.

Not very sharp.
Perhaps I'm too picky but I've found that pictures from this camera are just not sharp enough to satisfy me. Even processed RAW images show unacceptable smearing of details in 8x10 prints.
