Amazing image quality for the price
I didn't expect this lens to perform so well. Of course it's not state of the art lens, but it's certainly capable of taking great shots. And for only $99, every dollar worth it. I am very happy with this purchase!

medium tele
I had this same lens but in the 4/3 version. I recently bought a micro 4/3 Olympus E-M1 and wantd a micro lens. It focuses fast and silently. It is small and light but well built. It is a great lens for the price.

Olympus 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 lens
I bought this lens because I needed some reach when I am walking in the park and the kids are playing football or basketball I can zoom in on them without disturbing them.This lens is great for what I need it for.

Terrific Buy on Fine Lens
Recently bought this and could not be more pleased. Price was terrific and as always, B&H was great to deal with. Knowing what I know now, I would be sad if I had passed on this one. Good size lens and not heavy.

Very good performance for the price
I use the lens on the EM5. The lens gives very good perfomance for the price (don't expect pirme lens performance). The focus speed is OK but not stellar and slower than the oly 12-50 but the accuracy is good.

Great Budget Lens
Decent budget zoom for the micro four thirds system. Bought on sale at $99 to use with my G7. Lack of OIS can be an issue when shooting in low light, but for landscape or shooting in daylight it performs well.

Low cost, decent quality
I bought this as an inexpensive alternative to the PRO version. It makes decent quality images, is lightweight and easy to use. Its is definitely a heavy-duty lens, but with gentle use it is worth the money.

Not for GX-85
while the lens is optically pretty good and AF is fast and quiet, with a GX-85, it creates a strange clicking sound. turning the camera off/on seems to fix it temporarily, then the clicking sound comes back.

So cheap, yet so good
I honestly don't know how they do it. I've used cheap-o zooms on DSLR's before, and got commensurate results. This lens produces great results at an astounding price. Did I mention that its also super light!

Good Lens
The lens is great with light and focus. The only drawback is the housing is plastic and creates a slight rub when moving the zoom level. This is not a problem for us because one set we do not touch it again.

Really good value for the price
I wanted a cheap telephoto lens to photograph the local flora and fauna with my new Olympus PEN. This fit the bill perfectly. Light, decently-fast focusing and fun to use. Really good value for the money.

A good match with the 14-42
Nice and light. Designed to match the 14-42 in looks and performance. Both are pretty sharp and the color transmission and contrast are nearly identical. With my OMD ME-5 makes a very good traveling kit.

Great all purpose lens.
Getting clear, crisp shots and great bokeh for the macro shots. The lens is fairly small and light and doesn't over balance the smaller 4/3 mirrorless camera, Olympus OMD E-M10 Mark II that I use it on.

Can't Be Beat
The price is excellent and the IQ is outstanding. Bang for buck can't be beat. The equivalent in DSLRs is usually over a pound and will cost a lot more to own. Get one I don't think you will regret it.

A better lens than I expected at the price
I bought this lens to extend the range from the 14-42 mm kit lens out to 150 mm, and it does a fine job. Its light weight and compact size let me take it with me, and it does the job I want it to do.

Incredibly sharp!
I must have lucked out. My copy is tack sharp between 40mm and 80mm at least. Incredible detail with the OMD-EM5. 100% crops have no fuzziness! No negatives. Supplements my kit lens for longer shots.

Nice lens, especially for the $.
I use a DSLR exclusively for video. The 40-150 allows some close shots from a fairly long ways off. You will need to use a good tripod for anything past medium shots. Panasonic Lumix G7 and G85.

Awesome Lens
I purchased this lens to use on vacation. It allows me to get up and close to those shots that were distant using the 14-42 lens. The pictures are very sharp and the lens responds very quickly.

I love this lens
Amazingly sharp photos, especially for the price. Autofocus is quick and accurate allowing me to capture great shots of my 3 year old. Very lightweight on my epl2. I really love this lens.

The few days I been testing this lens the performance is good no complain whatsoever in low light situation the lens performed OK, sometimes it was difficult to focus but overall was OK.

Great little tele zoom lens
Surprisingly light and compact. Took some tripod mounted test pictures with lens on my OM-D E-M10 and found the images to be sharper than I expected for a lens at this price point.

Excellent Lens
I have used the lens for shooting skylines and it works great! I also like that it doesn't lock like my other lens does on my Olympus PL-2. Good clarity and range with this lens.
