This cam is clear, just plug in and you are going !! You can easily put on a tri-pod or any contraption that has a screw type tripod attachment. You can set it on the desk or on top of your monitor screen. I use a mini flexible tri-pod as so easy to move as I have a Ma ini and MacBook Pro laptop. Easy to pack and take with you ! Folds so your lens is protected and takes little space. Have delt with B&H for years for cameras, slide/photo copies and other attachments. They always answer your questions. I trust their recommendations and honesty. Fast delivery.

Nice features, Needs better focus/lens
I was pretty excited about this HD 8 mpx webcam and it's specs. However, after using in our lab I was disappointed. Doesn't focus crisp images past 1-1/2 feet. I guess I expected at least 5-10ft for a group. Although it may be HD, it does not give a good crisp video capture. Not for my needs, but may be okay for the casual user. Here is a time-lapse test video that I did at 3 ft and best quality. You can see type on the bottle is not crisp and the leaves and flowers aren't crisp.

You can teach an old dog new tricks!
I never thought much about a camera for my computer, but my sister got one and talked me into getting one. We live in two different cities and don't get to see each other very often. We now can sit at the computer and talk like we are in the same room. It's wonderful. I bought one for each of my sons for Christmas. Now we can also visit while talking. Wonderful invention!!

A good Mac compatible webcam
I needed something a bit more capable for my MacBook. Love the HD capabilities of this webcam. Not so fond of the Mac software limitations. Only way to record seems to be through Quicktime. So, seems to me that Logitech needs to create a software interface that actually works all the way. This is great for Skype and whatever, but Logitech still has some bugs to work out.

Great camera for the price
I bought this product to use with Skype, streaming, and making videos. Pros: Video quality is fantastic and customization is very easy provided the software that is downloaded from Logitech's website. The camera is on a swivel making it easy to get the correct angles of view. Cons: Sound quality of the microphone is poor, so use of a separate mic is recommended.

Great product that fits my special need
I am vusion impaired, so I need all the help I can get from computer software and hardware to make it possible for me to read and write and to handle my daily activity. In conjunction with a computer screen magnification software, Logitech C615 HD Webcam, with its high resolution pictures capability serves as a document viewing tool with remarkable clarity.

Great small webcam for Skype usage
We got this camera to use on a Windows 7 PC for Skype calls. It works great. No major issues during installation, and no issues during usage. We did have to set the Logitech software to no launch automatically when the webcam is activated. That was a little annoying.

Logitech C615 DOA
The webcam works with audio but no video. Tech support is worthless, and they have not responded to my request for RMA. I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of Logitech products in the past, but no more.

This camera is working well at short distance ( 1 to 5ft), but is out of focus at 6+ feet.
