Using this device for one-on-one web conferences, on a Dell laptop. The built-in camera gave my conference audience a grainy, choppy image. Using the Logitech, they get a crystal clear image, with no jerky motions. Two cons: 1) It just hangs on the top of the screen. It would be great if it clipped on so that it stays put when you move the laptop. 2) Given that it is for a laptop, they should have provided a carrying bag or case to protect it when travelling.

Inexpensive, no frills, does what you'd expect
S/W must be downloaded first which is supposed to happen automatically after you plug it in for W8.x and above but I had to manually download it. W7 requires a manual download. Once everything's installed it works as you would expect an economically priced webcam to work. Zoom & Pan jumps in steps and rapid motion is not smooth, but it's only a low cost webcam. It meets my needs and performs as well as can be expected - it does its job.

Good value and performs as expected
Used for Skype calls. Does what I need it to do at the right price. There are more expensive models with better resolution and functionality, but the C310 suits my basic needs. I don't record videos for posting on the web - if I did I would have opted for a higher level model. Small enough to slip in a travel bag. I use it on my desktop computer and also when travelling with a notebook computer that doesn't have its own webcam.

It Installed Easily & Works Well
I purchased this product to use with Skype. It was my first experience with both products. Both installed easily and work well together. The image is fine. The only problem was that my monitor is big and the camera was too high. I stuck it on a little Gorilla Tripod and it works fine, but it is not locked tightly to it. If I move things on my desk it might slip a little, but I can easily get it back in the right place.

Low-cost great webcam
Webcam performs well even in low light conditions. Resolution is good for the average user and color rendition is accurate. Rivals more expensive cameras in performance. Good value for the money. Perfect for keeping in touch with family. I have bought several and sent as gifts as far away as Europe. My only improvement wish is that it should have a spring-loaded clip for more secure mounting. Does the job
THe C310 webcam was great for our needs. we bought it so my parents can see our children over the computer as they are not able to come visit often. The best part was i just plugged it into the computer and boom! it worked! no following manual instructions just plug it in. One of the cons though is that it is not 1000% clear all the time, though it is pretty good. We are enjoying using it.

Fantastic video quality for the price
This little unit packs a big punch. The resolution is excellent for business use. I have mine pointed indirectly towards windows and yet I still show up very clearly in picture. Microphone picks up voice audio well even with white noise in the background. It truly performs as specified. I would recommend this model to anyone looking for a mid to high quality desk videoconferencing unit.

Good cam for the price
I bought this webcam mostly for Skype. Although, I've found that it takes good pictures and videos as well. I had to reinstall the software (I called Logitech). It may have well been my error while in the initial installation process. It works perfectly now and would recommend it if you are looking for a good camera without spending a lot of money.

Awesome webcam,
This is my first webcam and I am really impressed with the C310. It was so easy to set up and works perfect with Skype and Yahoo Messenger. I am very impressed with the HD picture quality. The rightsound audio works better than any microphone I've every used on a computer. I have used it for a week and can't see any CONs. B&H had a great price ...

EZ Set Up +Top Image and Sound
This is a Logitech, not a Sony product. Bottom Line - Participated in an online video conference with eight people. My audio and video feeds were as good as the moderator's, who was in England, and superior to the other six participants. The ease of setup and software update were impressive. Excellent value in a 720P camera for a Win7 desktop.

Short Cable
Bought this for a class and Skype. I have a 27 monitor and desktop computer. The cable was too shot to mount on top of the monitor, so I had to buy a 3' extension. Easy to install and works great. Picture and sound are a good quality. Not great, but sufficient for my needs. Camera can track and move with you. Very good product for the price.

What a great value!
I purchased 4 of these units to set up a webcast of a radio station's morning show. With engineering budgets tight, getting 4 of these for such a great price made it a no brainer. The quality is excellent for this use. I did not however use the microphones on the camera's since I needed a mix from all 4 locations within the studios.

Does the job and does it well...
Used for google hangout video conferencing. Plug and play, worked perfectly. Mounts on top of monitor or on desk with adjustable clip/stand. Includes shortish cable, might need an extention cord to run to the back of your desktop if you plan to leave it on top of the monitor permanetly. Good with just the light from the monitor.

easy setup good quality
I'm using the cam for video chat. I have a Del 2400, WIN XP, 2gB of RAM and a slow internet connection because I don't want to pay Comcast any more than I already do. Upgraded to this cam and I couldn't be happier. No lags, good video quality. Installed without the drivers, it works very well but the software looks pretty good.

Not best for music.....but OK for voice
I have one of these to record my digital piano, and make videos of my playing. The lens is excellent...but the mic is best used for voice, and not for recording a musical instrument. You can hear the sound of the music, but the quality is not what I was looking for...some bass notes did not get recorded on the video.

Good Quality, Works Great!
Bought this to Skype with grandma and grandpa so they could see their grandchild. Also purchased a USB extension so we could move the camera just about anywhere. Video quality is great, MUCH better than the build-in webcam on our laptop. Adjusts to changing light levels quickly... no complaints so far!

Works great
We just became grandparents for the first time. The new grandchild lives many miles away from us. We Skype with them and are able to see and hear from them. It works great and was easy to set up. Would buy it again. They say a picture is worth a thousand words but one that moves and talks is priceless.

My new C-310
It works great!! Almost too good! I can see all of my faults now---lol Thank you for asking me..--- I did have a Logitech C 310 camera before for many years with very little use.. One day recently it just quit-- I will stay with Logitech.. They do work good and are priced right.

Nice product, works great!
Work right out of the box, I am using this on Skype and got very good response from my family and friends. Voice is very clear and i don't have to shout in the camera, pictures are very crisp and clear as if i was in front on them. Would definitely recommend this product.

Doesn't work with Windows 10
Win10 doesnt support it.. no drivers for it so Win10 never recognizes the webcam. I dont even think Linux has a driver for it.. Better off staying far away from this webcam and pay a couple bucks more to get something you know works in windows and/or linux

Logitech C310 HD Webcam Review
I have not got to use this camera extensively yet. But so far it seems great. It took a very nice pic for my Skype account. Just plugged it in and it worked. For $ you can't beat it, the 270 was $29 at @ and I got the 310 for $ with free shipping.

Just what I wanted.
Plug it in and it works. I bought it because I upgraded my monitor, no longer had built-in webcam. Seems to be just fine, though I haven't yet played around with it much (I use it for Skype).B&H got it to me with their usual speed and efficiency.

Just what I needed.
When my previous Webcam became erratic and troublesome it was time for a new one. My wife has a Logitech C310 so I thought, me too! Works great with Skype so we can communicate with family half way around the world. Easy set up too.

Simple to use High Quality webcam.
This product was simple to setup and install using the included software installation disc. Was able to set up an account and invite people to join me in an HD Video Chat. Very stable, clean, crisp HD video quality. Great price.
