About the most polished Monitor based of an old technology

LG's advertising says this is monitor has a 75 mhz refresh rate,yet other sources say it's just 60mhz. A little more processing speed never hurt anyone as far a I know. I like it. It makes me feel like I am protecting myself against new technology envy for a while. This monitor has a special quality to the color that is hard to describe. It is very rich without having to increase the contrast or saturation. This is my first non Apple monitor and I am delighted. I wonder if Apple is waiting for OLED technology to put to rest LCD technology forever.
