These headphones will work quite nicely in my video van. The Heil name stands up to it's name. Comfortable, great sound, and isolates the room sound well.

Best bang for the buck...
These are great sounding headphones... I am a live sound enginer and these do an amazing job. Dont get fooled by the popular style headphones on the market, go with the Heil Pro Set 3.... I have three sets and like any good headphone they get better with time...

Not what I expected
When I received the Heil Set-3 I was immediately taken back by how flimsy they felt on my head. The on-ear fit format may well have worked if they offered a bit more clamping force to better isolate room noise, but they did not. Note: My intended use with these headphones is for podcasting and voice dictation so in terms of dynamic range, it really isn't all that important. Anyway, I returned the headphones and will be trying a similar model from Beyerdynamic, which is essentially the same design, though possibly a step up.
