My old Apple Cinema after 10 years of daily use, went out. I had it side by side with Dell monitor given to me by a friend. I really wanted a single large monitor but wasn't sure I wanted the extreme wide screen monitors. A lot of real estate
I had an opportunity to demo this monitor at my work, where I do GIS and CAD. In no time at all I had visitors from all floors wanting to see this thing. It has quickly become the standard around here with some 30+ monitors purchased on our floor alone. Dell monitors are what the doc ordered
This monitor is my replacement for the 30 Dell I handed down to my colleague. I do computer drafting and this monitor allows me to have ample drawing room as well as room for the toolbars. The size of the pixels is also a bit more in line with my eyesight as the 30 could make the text pretty small. Even with the 30, I was looking for something larger. I can't really see going larger than this one since I can easily view full size blueprints and even with multiple windows open, everything is very legible. The crazy thing is that this monitor cost less than the one it is replacing.

Almost Great!
It a very good monitor I have 2 and I use them tight together for Auto-CAD work. With two monitors of this size I can see a complete Building across two screens. Needed a Dell docking station to run 2 4k monitors at highest resolution. You must have a very fast processor or monitors would run slow. Fallow Auto-CAD recommendation at minimum. I wish Monitors had infinity edge for continuity of screens...one can dream. Also missing is height adjustment, the minor forward and backward adjustment is minimal.

Simply awesome...
Whether for editing large photo files full screen or splitting into four HD quadrants for the ultimate in multitasking, I can't praise this monitor enough. Other screen divisions are available, like the three section where I can research a topic in my browser top left, put my notes in a file bottom left, while the word proc doc fills the entire right side- no way I would want to go back to a multi-monitor config.

Love it! Would totally buy again
In general, GREAT picture quality, and the ability to use with mutiple input sources is awesome. Between this monitor and virtual keyboard/mouse software (Synergy in my case) I got rid of my ugle KVM switch off my desk. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that I would like more HDMI inputs (there are only two). Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Massive. Magnificent.
My only gripe with this beast is that, sitting closer than about 4 feet, the edges of the screen exhibit a backlight dead zone caused by the gap between the backlight and LCD display. The monitor sits about 2 feet away from me, and at that distance I lose somewhere between 1 to 2mm worth of pixels on the edges of the screen.

Amazing Monitor!!!
Being able to have 4 screens on one surface is amazing. Documentation from Dell is poor, but there is a lot of assistance from YouTube. It's so much better than 4 monitors as all the screens are in the same place every time. You can also look at it full screen with 1 input. It has super brilliance and clarity.

Great monitor, great vendor.
This 4k monitor really stands out. Having the real estate on one monitor is so much more productive than a multi monitor set up. The just is still out on the Dell monitor software that allows you to split the screen. Al in all I am very happy with this purchase.
