Perfect for what I need
Part of my business is mobile DJing. For most weddings I find my Behringer VP1800S subwoofer (paired with a Behringer EP2500 power amp) was being wasted and the effort to haul it around wasn't worth it. I've never turned them all the way up - even at an outdoor wedding. I purchased the B1200D in hopes of being able to have sufficient sub-level bass for dancing at small to average sized gigs while still being able to get my whole PA system in my c... Show More

Great and real easy to carry!
I have a part-time mobile DJ business and this little sub woofer really puts out a lot of real, thick, authentic down low floor shaking bass sound and is so small it hides under my DJ table. Weight is only 43 pounds which is really nice as I get older (55) and down-sizing is my goal. I've been lugging around 4 big 18 passive subs, each over 100 pounds, for years in a trailer with lots of other gear but usually only use 2 of the subs for most jobs... Show More

Decent bang for the buck!
Bought 2 of these subs to compliment a smaller dj setup that I was building for easier portability to smaller gigs. I have these paired with a set of harbinger v2112 12 cabs. Very nice sounding combo. Most people will ask why I chose a 12 sub paired wit 12 mains..... The woofer in a mains cab is not really designed to put out really loud , low bass, it is really designed to be more of a midrange driver. These subs WILL make a noticeable differenc... Show More

Amazing for Home Theater Use!
I've read on some home theater forums that this subwoofer would work great as a near field mid bass module as its frequency range (45-180hz) is right where that mid bass slam lives in movies and music. This will not give you the deep bass (sub 20hz) that some movies have but for most movies and music it adds a visceral punch when integrated properly into your system. I have it right behind the main listening position and it shakes the couch addin... Show More

Excellent addition for home or stage.
I play small venues with a Yamaha DGX 660. I love the fact that I can run a mic through the onboard speakers, but the accompaniment that the keyboard produces, while really nice, does lack bottom, due to the size of the speakers provided. This unit is a perfect choice to add bass to the mix. I use the thru outputs on the unit to power a mobile Tascam audio recorder, as well. My audiences have noticed the difference, and I enjoy the larger sound. ... Show More

Real Bass! Real Punch!
What a amazing little sub ...Right out of box carried 2 of them with no sweat( I used to use a hand truck to carry just one Mackie 12 inch active sub!!!).Connections with my other gear were easy and... after testing a track from my arranger keyboard I was shocked: clean, punchy heavy bass on the outdoor setup for the festival! 6 hours of non stop work with different music groups and DJ's killed my last skepticism!I just used 50% of power! Great subwoofer
Needed for a small church where visitors often sing with prerecorded music tracks. Don't need to shake the walls just beef the low end the mains don't handle. My favorite is weight! At 43 pound with the great built in handles, it is a breeze to carry. It runs cool and seems well protected both electronically and physically. If more boom is required you could buy two and still get what you need. Behringer makes a 15 and 18 well priced but take not... Show More

This thing is AWESOME
I just got this an what to share my experience in the hopes of helping others. I am using a Behringer PMP2000 powered PA with 3 - B212XL passive speakers. What I have done is I run the 3 B212XL off of the Main powered section of the amp. the B1200D I run off the monitor out on the front of the amp. I know I am not taking advantage of the filter built in to the B212 XL. But let me tell you it works perfectly. Make sure you do not run a powered signal from your amp to the B1200D or it will all go Poof. My 1st gig is this weekend. Let's see how it goes.

Small powerhouse
Like all of the reviews said, this little thing is a beast. I wanted something small and light (50lb or less) for my 12 Yamaha PA speakers, and for how little I would use them for band jam or an occasion DJ gig for a friend or neighbor, I couldn't justify spending double this for a Yamaha or EV sub. Well, this thing kicks butt and has real nice clean bass. I haven't tried it outside with the rest of my PA system, but I doubt I will be disappointed. It's a great value for the price and sounds fantastic.

Bought almost a year ago, used twice (gently!) now kaput
Bought it not quite a year ago, used it at a house party and a birthday party (twice) and used very gently. Went to fire it up to test for an upcoming gig, and it's toast. Out of B&H warranty and Behringer has yet to return my email (though I do have a case number with them. B&H, please. I've purchased a lot of stuff from you for the company I work for, so please take this seriously. Again, don't buy & then sell junk. I lost $300+ tax on this junk.

might little unit
When i got this unit i was a little leary but I had done a lot of online research...1st off,,few of the big companys carry the small 12 subs. Don't know why but they don't. This unit is compact and light weight but does a really good job on small club gigs..and thats all i wanted! I have since ordered and second one and i will also be able to get rid of the speaker stands.---and B&H is a super fast shipper!!

Powerful little dude!!!
I have a vocal group that utilizes backing tracks and this little sub is not only light weight for us old timers to handle, but powerful enough to handle about 90% of our venues (100-150 people). I'm using it under a pair of Behringer 215xls, and it is keeping up nicely at the volumes we run for 50's, 60's, and 70's music. I might consider buying one more!!!

Best Bang for low Bucks!!!
Using in my home theater system with five behringer 3031's. Perfect complement. Have a pair and these little 12's kick butt. Lots of tight punch and just right low, low end. shakes the couch. Great speakers at a great price would by again, and B&H was the only place that had them in stock. Great service, Fast ship, Excellent company to do business with.

Great little sub!
I really like this sub, it's great for smaller events and provides a nice warm punchy low end to your speaker setup. You're not really going to feel the bass so much as you will hear it. If you want something to thump your chest you'll need a bigger speaker. Behringer makes a great speaker and it's worked great for me so far.

Awesome Little Sub
It has only been two weeks and have not had any problems or complaints. Punch's nicely and compliments my two Ultratone 1800 amps very well. Had intended on purchasing two, but changed my mind after using it. It has plenty of power for small venues and rocks my house quite well.

Great sub!!!
These are great subs considering they are 12 inches ... Will get the job done for medium sized indoor events .. I have the 18 inch behringer also but these are great because their weight and size makes transport easy and it packs sufficient punch for my needs.

Powerful in a small package
I purchased two of the B1200D subwoofers. What a fantastic little package. Sound quality is expetional. Easy to use, and easy to move around. One is plenty loud enough for small rooms, and adding the second for larger rooms adds the additional punch needed.

Tremendous Little Sub
Behringher delivers again with this Sub. It looks great, sounds great, and doesn't brake my back (or my wallet). Obviously not going to produce chest pounding bass, but it still adds the punchy low end definition to your dance music. Great product.

I love my Eurolive B1200d subwoofer
I use this product at home in basement with a small Karaoke setup (Yamaha mixer, 2 behringer 10 speakers). This sub-woofer adds wonderful bass to low end. Feels heavy and solid. I like how it sounds. Very happy with this purchase.

Can't say enough good things about this little sub. Clean deep lows. Upper bass isn't muddy. Paired this sub with a Yamaha stagepas 400i. Awesome wall of clean powerful music.

It really hits that low end and really thumps. Not as good as a 18 inch subwoofer but with the boost feature you can really get the thing working!
