Pro-XD Wireless Mic System
We have been using a Shure wireless system for many years and B&H recommended Azden system for our new video camera. The sound quality is extremely clear and the system is very easy to use.

Great Budget
It is a great wireless mic. but two issues are important. First: you have to have a free view line between transmitter and receptor to avoid interruptions. Second and VERY important to get clear audio, is to avoidinterference when using it with wifi appliances, cellphones etc that use 2.4ghz. I use it fo LIVE streaming and had to change all the phones and computer to 5ghz wifi or it would be a constant interference. I Still using it, but on the last 8th month os using it once a week, the receiver had a battery life death, didi not solve it yet with warranty.

Really great product, Must have
Worked perfectly right out of the box, so great to NOT be wired to the camera. Plugged into cellphone, clear signal, pointd cellphone out the window, I went out side50 ft no drop out through walls and glass. Monitor output and volume in head phones, wonderful. great price, great B&H shipping. Very pleased.

Audio good, but frequent drop outs
Weve had this unit for several months and used it mainly outdoors. Ive not been able to figure out a work-around to reduce the number of drop outs, yet. The audio is good with the mic it came with, the signal is strong and tone is pretty good. When it works, it sounds really good. But Ive had continual issues with the audio dropping, whether were in an area of likely 2.4GHz congestion or not. One feature I especially like is the headphone jack t... Show More

Noisy
Operated fine. I didnt expect long range and thought it would be useful for short distance setups. However, the noise floor is so high as to make the audio unusable in most environments. I suppose it might be okay at a loud sporting event where the recording noise would possibly be covered by the ambient sounds.

Audio Drops Completely and Flickers In and Out
The audio drops a lot.. especially in busy environments with lots of people and devices interfereing with the signal. Even when in an open lot with nothing around it still drops.

Rubbish
Spent weeks trying to figure out what we were doing wrong with recorder settings, radio mike settings, cables etc until we discovered tonight that the microphone was shipped faulty. Took it apart and it looked like it had been soldered by a four-year-old. Too late of course to return the unit. Shame on you B&H for selling this piece of dreck as "professional audio" - at any price.

Too many dropouts
Just can't be counted on to go for very long without dropouts occurring; even in a simple interview if you have any wi-fi signals in the area at all.

OK system
Used several times and noticed some cut out on the sound. Clean audio if subject isn't moving.

Better Second Time Around
The first one was defective as some online have discovered. Same problem others had. The receiver would not turn off or receive signal from the transmitter. The replacement works fine. I bought the upgraded lav mic and that little guy sounds great compared to the original. Highly recommended. I've very happy now. The promise of this product was overshadowed by an apparent lack of QC by the manufacturer. But, with their usual professionalism, B&H ... Show More

I Love this Wireless Lavalier System
I think this is my best purchased in BH Video..I bought it cheap in their Dealzone for only $119.99.The product is second to none. You don't get wrong with PRO-XD.

Works, but not the best
No battery meter, mic gain stopped working within 4 months. It still works, but I'm looking for a higher quality replacement.

Easy to use and set up.
I am starting a video block for my real estate business and was looking for some equipment. The staff at B&H helped me pick out some products. They were informative and cost conscious. Being a total novice with this type of equipment and not being one to ready instructions, It was very easy for me to attach to the video camera and record sound within seconds. I have only used two times, to date, but I am sure this is everything that I was expecting, and more.

I would not recommend for professionals
They work is all I can say positive. The audio is not high quality I had to return this unfortunately.

I would buy this again (and probably will for multiple ins)
I am using this wireless set up now and what a savings of time and effort. No more wires, taping down, clean up, etc. My projects are fairly close (in convention breakout rooms) so I don't need an expensive long distance wireless system. This is just what I need.

So far so good!
I keep this unit as a backup unit, a nd guess what, needed a back up in my last shoot. So busted these out. I'm not silly enough to rely on the included microphone, the entire unit is priced at what a decent mic should cost. SO, I used a professional level mic and plugged it into the system as I knew the included mic would be the weakest spot. The Azden is easy to use, plug and play, and with my own mic, the unit worked flawlessly. I would totall... Show More

Picks up every sound around.
I tried to use it on a real shoot, was hoping they would be ok enough but they pick up literally every single noice from all over I had to go back to my hard wired mic. Might be acceptable for home movies. Not really expecting them to be awesome for the sales price but useable perhaps...

2 of 2 units broken on delivery
Hoping to save a few bucks for a pair this was a mistake. One unit's output is not functioning. The other has a destroyed lipo battery. (both are RX).

Yet another Azden product ruins a live shoot
Just Skip It. We've tried using several different Azden products that have failed us in various ways. Their original analog wireless lav kit is almost entirely useless more than a few feet away in line of sight, but this new unit only swapped severe transmission problems with severe audio and control problems. I wanted to like Azden, particularly being a company local to NJ, but I'm never buying their products again. Like the other, this unit see... Show More

Nice size but poor performance.
I wish this system worked for me but so far, not going very well. During testing they worked fine. At my first shoot with these the mic kept cutting out. On the second shoot everything was ok for about 7 minutes then the mic started cutting out. So frustrating and very embarrassing when you have to do a retake due to equipment failure!

Small Lightweight easy set up
I am not a professional. I bought it to record the sound for an outdoors Biological Sensitivity Training video put on at a construction project by the project Biologist. Easy set up, charged the batteries when I first opened the box. It mounted easily and securely on the camera, I got a mini plug to XLR cord to connect directly to my Panasonic HCX1000 Camcorder. Adjusted the sound per simple instructions provided and got excellent results. My con... Show More

Great wireless kit
My job provides us with $1,000 wireless mic kits, however I wanted to buy my own affordable kit to use with my personal Canon C100.... I am happy with it. I placed this wireless mic set on a professional NBA player during one of his basketball camps. I left the mic on for 5 hours straight and not once did it die. My guy placed it in his back pocket (6 foot 7 frame) while running back up and down the court full speed and not once did the mic fall ... Show More
