Good Alternative to Other of Similar

The Amazing AT8004 Microphone
This is my review of the AT8004 microphone. I use this mic for interviewing individuals who are a part of my documentaries. This microphone is an exceptional value. This microphone could easily compete with Mics that are in the $-$ range. The beauty of this mic is that it's quiet and sonically vibrant. You can hear the low lows, the mids and the highs with crystal clarity. There isn't anything I don't like about this mic... It's design is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and its build is solid. Total quality... Very happy with this purchase. I will most likely buy another very soon.

OK But not what I was Expecting
Was looking for an omnidirectional mic that could pick up surrounding and directional sound at a good pick up rate. This mic is not as sensitive as I thought it was going to be.I would recommend for close up interviews and anything close proximity.

Great in all directions
We have speakers, presentors and certainly graduates that come into our auditorium and hold the microphone like a sucker and we can't hear them With the AT8004 we can.

I used the mic for a group interview, worked quite well, all three participants were picked up well.
