Great except for Viewing Angle
Great Monitor with fabulous resolution. The only down-side is its narrow viewing-angle. I have two side-by-side, in Portrait-Mode. That is, they are oriented with the long-way up-and-down. When I move my head from side-to-side, the farthest-one will fade-out.

Not quite to my liking
I wanted a large monitor for my day trading (I use lots of charts) without a large price tag. Guess, I got what I paid for. First, my monitor was defective. HDMI/Display port connections did not work. But by using DIV adapter, it is now working Second, power cable connection is a bit loose. It does not feel securely plugged in. Well, it is working so this may not really a deal killer but if I try to rotate the monitor, the cable gets too loose an... Show More

Not the right option for your Mac
Tried various ways to make it work. You're going to get a lot of ghosting and blurry-ness around the top, left, and right sides. I have a Dell 4K at work and it's night and day difference. Should have known to give the ASUS brand a try. Not worth the headaches returning the large item.

Great 4k monitor
I don't have other 4k monitors to compare against but this one runs my games great and Windows 10 looks good on it. Came with DP and HDMI cables so was easy to hook up. Although I had to enable DP1.2 in monitor settings before it was able to run 4k@60hz. BF4 and other games look and play great.

Best of the UHD monitors
This is a great monitor. I have the Samsung at work and it's just as nice to look at but it has a few annoyances (not many) which include the fixed stand. The ASUS is beautiful and flexible. Love it!

Great monitor at a good price
This is my first 4k screen, detail is amazing! Colors are nice and bright, there is some light bleed around the edges which is really only noticeable when the image is black. I will watch how the development of 4k monitors go as only being able to run at 60 Hz when connected by display port to a compatible video card is a pain when you want to use the monitor with more than one computer and there is only one display port. I use my computer for ev... Show More

Great monitor for photographers
This 28 monitor is wonderful for photo editing in Photoshop and Lightroom. The images are clear. Their size on a large monitor makes adjustments to small areas easy to handle. It is adjustable in height and has accurate viewing from off-center. I am very happy with this choice which didn't cost an arm and a leg. The product would be better if it came with a hood to block ambient light and if the monitor had controls to set a white balance of 6500K.

Great Product
This monitor is great and can handle 4K at 60HZ like a champ, although my only downsides to this product are the buttons on the back of the screen and the fact that it doesnt really tell you that you should use the DVI 1.2 instead of the HDMI. but other than that excellent product

Nice Monitor
Just getting started with the PB287Q monitor. First one would not turn on so sent it back, second one seems fine. Using it with LightRoom to edit high resolution pictures from my d810. Pretty amazing resolution. Using the DisplayPort connector but have not touched the settings yet.

Great UHD reference monitor
Needed an inexpensive UHD reference monitor for editing and this fit the bill. I even use it for rough color corrects and have been pleased with the results.

Great Clarity
I bought the 4K Asus Monitor because I've had such good luck with Asus in the past. I bought 3 23 monitors 4 years ago and they work as good as the day I first received them. I decided to expand my work place to 6 monitors and this is my main screen. Couldn't be any happier with this purchase.

Great Display for Gaming and Business
This is an awesome monitor with great color reprentation and really fast response times. It's the perfect monitor for gaming, yet also a great monitor for digital imaging/photography as well as business applications where real estate is of importance. You can't go wrong with this monitor.

Best of best
Best monitor money can buy. But note you need 2 HDMI cables to connect to your computer which ASUS supplied, but one cable's connecter is not common and you have a buy another cable (I bought it) if your computer doesn't have those connectors.

Does not work with Mac Pro @ 60 hz
I bought this monitor because of the other reviews and price. Unfortunately I've discovered (personally and other online) that the Mac Pro computers with the D500 or D700 GPUs are not rendered correctly on this monitor at 60 Hz. The issue is a distortion/ghosting running down the right side of the monitor. This is an issue that ASUS, nor Apple for that matter, are interested in addressing since the issue was reported 10 months ago. This monitor w... Show More

ASUS_ Good quality, sleek apperance
All are well designed. Vertical/horizontal rotation, tilting and up/down adjustment work smoothly. I bought Samsung 4K UHD monitor which is almost 1/3 cheaper price compared to ASUS, but I had to return it because of its fancy design, no speakers, no rotation/ adjustment.

I love this monitor
I purchased this for my New Mac Pro (2014). I LOVE it! No problems, easy to assemble the stand, plug/play with Mini-Display port OR TB2 socket (It's the same socket). Make sure you get the right cord because the Monitor Port is a full sized display port socket.

Great Monitor
Great monitor but didn't work for what I needed. Wanted to use it at a wedding show to show photos and I couldn't get the color balance correct. The controls on scene are also very hard to use and you make a lot of mistakes using them at first. Everything else looks great on it though.

Exceeds it's specifications
This monitor set up to use the maximum resolution of 3840x2160 automatically even though the card in my computer, GeForce GT645 has a max res of 2560x1440. Color is fantastic. I use it as a second monitor in a dual setup for Adobe Lightroom, autosketch, and 3D design work.

It's A Wonderful World
At first I bought a used version of this monitor here on B&H, it it was defective. I sent it back and paid the difference for a new one. This monitor is one you can live with. It has all the right things. 60htz, one of the best TN panels I've ever seen, and the color accuracy is remarkable for the price. A Great Monitor, but 60Hz Only Sometimes
After much shopping around and comparing this monitor to similar makes and models in the same price bracket, I went for the ASUS PB287Q. When it arrived, it was pretty easy to assemble, and the controls and settings were intuitive (as well as included in the instructions). I am using it in vertical alignment which has made websites and documents a whole new kind of accessible, and opened up my eyes to new design strategies as a designer. The imag... Show More

Best Buys 4K Monitor I've ever used
The monitor works so well with my macbook pro retina mid 2014, and the details are great.Although there is some light bleeding at the edge of the scree ( only seen when the background is dark ), which usually happens on the LCD monitor, it is still a high performance monitor. If you want to buy a 4K monitor at a reasonable price, I think AUSU PB287Q is the best choice!

Good low-cost 4k
I'm using this Asus 4K monitor alongside an HD Asus monitor I bought a few years ago, hooked up to my MacBook Pro. The 4K resolution is great for keeping a ton of windows open, which I need in my writing and film work. Be warned that regular-sized windows become very tiny when dragged over onto the 4K screen. Re-sizing windows between my laptop screen and the 4K screen takes a little getting used to, but now that I've gotten the hang of it, I wis... Show More
