Fine Monitor at a Good Price
I needed to update an older TN (twisted nematic) LCD display in my audio studio since the limited viewing angle was limiting its usefulness, and theASUS VS24AH-P 24" Widescreen IPS monitor did the trick nicely for much less than the old monitor cost five years ago. While not a wide gamut monitor for photo editing work (get an ASUS Pro Art series for that) the colors and response are perfect for viewing audio editing screens or text screens. Highly recommended.

Nice screen, flimsy stand
I like everything about the monitor, especially the 16:10 image size. The stand is flimsy though and the frame wobbles every time my desk is bumped.

Very reliable monitor
If you like a monitor with great color and resolution that just keeps on working this is it.

Nice display at a great price
I use this as my second computer monitor (not for watching HD video), and the extra height from the WUXGA (1920x1200) vs HDTV (1920x1080) makes a nice difference. Display is clear with great brightness, contrast, and color. 3/4 frame (1 at the bottom) is a matte finish, not glossy (scratchable) black. The only downside is the included stand which has the monitor sit too low on my desktop for me. But I mounted it to an adjustable stand (from an old dead monitor) via the 100mm VESA mount, so that's ultimately not an issue for me.

Just want I wanted
I was looking for a screen I could use with laptop. I love the screen, but I needed to buy an HDMI cable separately. It's super bright and crisp. I am looking forward to doing video and graphics projects with it. It does seem a little wobbly. But other than that it's fine. I'm not a fan of ASUS, but I thought for this price I get all the specs I want and it was way cheaper than other leading brands. Oh, I threw away the box before reading I neede... Show More

serves the purpose
using as a replacement for a second monitor that passed on. looks as good as the samsung it is replacing. cost is good hook-up simple but instructions left a lot to be desired. first in english then 31 more language versions would have given five stars except for the lack of instructions

ASUS 24 monitor
Purchased 2 of these to go with a computer built as a gift for a family member. The picture quality is phenomenal for a monitor of this price, no noticeable bleed or edge issues. No artifacts or dead pixels seen on either screen. The primary use will be for daily office programs and data entry. The monitors have been only used a couple days, no problems noted so far. Asus has become a very reliable and consistent brand over the last few years, would recommend these to anyone looking for quality at a reasonable price.

Maybe too bright
It looks good. It was wall mountable. I can't get used to how bright it is. I guess that is good. When using Lightroom to edit pics, I'm not sure if the exposure is right because of it. The pics look great on my screen, and not so great on the older monitors. It's going to take some getting used to.

Buy this monitor, it's great
I have been using this monitor for over 2 weeks and am very happy with its colors, large area (16x10)-is larger. Photos look great. I am not really watching movies on it, just do some conversions.

Good Inexpensive Monitor
This is a good IPS monitor for the right price. Colors are accurate; tracking is good; and refresh rate is good.

Nice
Nice monitor at a reasonable price. It compares surprisingly well to our old NEC 2490WUXi. Good colors, no glare, very little color shift at different angles, almost no backlight bleed. No stuck-on or stuck-off pixels. Color calibrated with Eye-One Match with little change to the factory calibration. Currently connected to a laptop dock via DVI. No DisplayPort, but a DisplayPort to HDMI cable should allow a direct connection to the laptop. The st... Show More

Great Display With Great Price
Pro:* 16:10* HDMI input* VESA mountableDisplays with 3 features above, this one would be the best for its lowest price.Screen is perfect, bright and sharp.Con:No speaker included. If you want to use HDMI line to output audio, extra speaker or headphone are required, which is not convenient. The display is not very solid when connected VESA arm. The back of screen would be a little soft when moving with arm. After 1 week usage, no damage is occurred though.

Great product and very good price
Orderd two of these last month, and was delivered in two days. Very easy to setup and no pixels were out. Great for gamers or those very large spreadsheets.

One of the best deals going
I bought this as an upgrade for my primary monitor on my home computer. I wanted 1920x1200 resolution since that is what I have at work. I bought an HDMI cable for it, and it is super sharp and BRIGHT! Getting it adjusted was largely about taming it's brightness. You might be able to use this monitor with direct sunlight shining on it (have not tried).

Beautiful picture
Beautiful image - bright. Easy to install on VESA mount. Easy to set up and get using quickly. Multi-language instructions are useless, but unnecessary.

Best Value Around
Pro's- Great Color Great Detail Fast Enough for Gaming Taller Screen (Great for Text & Internet)Con's- Not Easy to Get Through the Menu for Changes Stand is Very Basic- Cannot Rotate Screen(!) to Vertical (and need seperate command to do so even if you get a Vesa Mount- I suggest a Dell U2412 compatable stand about $ on the used market) (Important if Doing a Lot of Text/Writing)

Made the correct choice!
After doing heaps of research on lower priced IPS Panels($200-$300), it came down to Dell P2414H(16:9) or this one (16:10) because of PWM issues that a lot of the lower priced monitors have. This monitor has an even thinner coating than the Dell. The quality in sharpness and true colors after playing around with the setup is AWESOME!! No dead pixels, hardly any light bleeding and perfect size. I was worried about the stand from some reviews but l... Show More

Best 1920x1200 monitor for the price
I purchased three of these and have had no issues with any. 1920x1200 monitors offer more vertical space (which I love) than comparable 1080p displays, but usually cost $300 or more. This monitor has great color clarity and response time, a large amount of screen real estate, and a solid warranty at a price cheaper than any other monitor at this resolution. It's a steal. The build quality is good but the stand could be just a little better. It al... Show More

So much better than 1080
1920 x 1200 might not seem like much more than 1920 x 1080 but that extra real estate makes a big difference in video editing apps. Love it!
