Fantastic monitor - bright, crisp, clear
If you're older, like I am, then think about this product. These are big, bright, crisp, and clear. I am squinting a lot less and making fewer typos. A particularly unusual and worthy feature of this model is it has all 4 hookups: VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort. The way my graphics cards pan out, I have one each on VGA, DVI, HDMI. great for the price
I have this connected to my wife's 17 inch Macbook Pro via mini display port to display port. I tried HMDI and VGA but both of those seemed to be more prone to interference. (intermittent and subtle vertical roll on the screen) That may reflect the cables and adapters that I was using. The straight cable with no adapter seems to be the least troublesome. Good value monitor
This was a replacement for a 19 Samsung Syncmaster which, literally, went on the blink and eventually died. I'd been happy with the Samsung as it was used as an extended desktop monitor for my work laptop. I really needed more real estate on the monitor than provided by the Samsung so that was a perfect reason to search for something larger. Excellent gaming monitor
I've owned one of these monitors for two years now and used it heavily for gaming. Consistent, crisp and responsive display, various input methods and a truly spacious viewing area make this a go-to choice for monitors in the 27 category.Huge bonus too for Picture in Picture functionality. This is the main reason I again chose this monitor for my most recent build. The person for whom I was building the machine wanted to plug an HDMI from a cable box and watch football while doing computer work at home. This monitor delivered once again.

Simply awsome
Asus monitors have been simply great. One of the most awesome monitors i've used in a long while. Fell in love with it since the first i got off the b&h shop. Always in need of screen space and tidy desk, I do mostly 3d designs and video and photo editing. Just what I needed, wide, light weight and very affordable. As a desk saver, I use the monitor for both my laptop and desktop. Vga to laptop and dvi to desktop with a quick view switching botton I can switch between my pc's while one is rendering, I work on the other. Its a must have.

Not sure I would buy this product again
I love the size of the monitor and the price. But, I am constantly having to turn it off and back on again as the color turns to bright pink if it sits for a few minutes. There is no other way I've found to refresh the screen but to turn it on and off. Once back on I must a few minutes for it to boot up...I run a home business and time is money. The sound is very loud. The menu is confusing. It was a good price and B & H has a great customer service and quick shipping.

I bought a second one already for my spouse who has an iMac.
This is my second screen that I use alongside my Retina 5K iMac. My iMac has the AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2048 MB video. Great clarity, and since I use 1600x900 for work and surfing, it's magnificent and matches the Retina extremely well. When I log into the iMac this second monitor turns on and when I shut down or sleep the iMac it does the same. I use the HDMI from the iMac to this monitor. Highly recommended and the three-year warranty is icing on the cake!

Everything asus is known for ...
Never turned it on. Can't comment on the electronics. Problem with the hinge. It is massively over-tightened so that it won't rotate at all. Can't use the unit if the hinge needs to be opened 30 degrees and it won't budge. Presumably a problem limited to my unit While I am at it, the DVI cable provided - does not have screws long enough to attach to screw posts. That is a not limited to one unit. A lot of people must be stuck with this problem

Great color but stuck pixel within days
Pros: Easy setup, presets were adequate for what I needed (PC gaming / Xbox 360) I tried some custom settings found online but ended up reverting to the Theater Mode preset. Cons: A stuck pixel appeared on day 5. I called B&H and they are sending me a new replacement monitor and I will return my current one. 5/5 on customer service. Stuck pixels happen so I'm not too bummed. Looking forward to my replacement monitor.

Great Value in a 26.5 Display
I already have a 27 LG 53 series monitor purchased about three years ago. I wanted to add a second monitor but LG discontinue this model. The Asus fit the bill with several improvements over the LG. It has the HDMI connector, it has speakers, and is LED. The Asus is now my main monitor. The only con is the 26.5 diagonal display compared to the LG's full 27. As for color and performance, the Asus is excellent.

Awesome quality with some minor issues
I gave it 4 stars because picture quality wise is superb, really bright colors, for an xbox 360 is really works great. The speakers are sub-par but what do you expect, the only grievance i have is that the cable inputs are hard to see and connect because they are hidden behind the monitor really really well, hard to connect and disconnect things, other than that go for it.

Fantastic Picture
Needed to replace my six year old 21 inch Samsung Syncmaster, it finally died. I was going to get another Samsung but in a 27 inch. I checked around and saw the ASUS. I had never heard of that brand before. It came with high reviews and a 3 year parts and labor warranty. I am glad I did. I love the picture and ease of use. Would whole heardtly recommend.

Great Quality for the Value
This is a great product. We bought it to hookup to a MacBook Pro via HDMI. This is much cheaper than buying a 27 display from Apple and the quality seems to be on par with the Apple Cinema Display. Recommended for those who want a large screen for a lower price. Works great with both Mac and PC, we've bought 2 of them so far for our office!

economical monitor/tv
This is the best monitor in its price range hands down. I liked the fact that it did NOT have SMART TV or equivalent functionality to connect to the internet, which in my view, is a waste of resources and time. Picture is clear, sharp and sound is ok. Overall then it is a great monitor for the price to use with a PC an/or Cable/ VideoGames

Of course I would buy this again.
I have been a B&H purchaser for many years. Their product lines and service has always been 1st class. I just wanted a larger computer display so I ordered the Asus. It does everything asked of it with clarity, high resolution and perfect color and brightness. Needed absolutely no fiddling. The Asus display just plain works!

I can see everything on my screen
This a great computer monitor for billing, I can seen the entire ledger now. On my 17 monitor I was constantly horizontally scrolling to see all of the ledger details. It is a bright monitor. Easy on the eyes. The speaker capability is adequate for business computer needs. I have no complaints after using it for one week.

Excellent Product
monitor has great colors and looks amazing. almost too big at times but that is something that I just need to get used to. Exterior wise, i would say that a samsung looks a little bit better, but after reading many reviews about the performance of this monitor and after purchasing it, I can recommend this to anyone.

Great Monitor
I hate giving out 5 stars, believing that if the product works well, there isn't any problems installing it and meets all my expectations, then I will give it a 4 star because it is above what I figure is the norm. But I have this mounted on the wall at my home workstation and just love it.

Bought 6 of these at once
I am a futures trader with a 6 monitor setup for my charts. I needed something with sharp text, good color and low heat and energy needs. This Asus LED monitor is exactly what I needed. The price at B&H could not be beat and the Asus warranty is one of the best in the market.

Bright, Clear, and Affordable
This monitor is shared amongst three computers through the SIIG KVM switch I purchased with it. It probably has more features than I will use, as everything came up clear and well formatted immediately when I powered it up. I am well satisfied with this purchase.

Big Screen Big Flaw
This screen is a great product for the average consumer, however, for the professional it is not as good as other screens on the market. There is a reason for the price. Overall it is an ok screen. The gamut presents contrast issues for photo editing.

Great color and size! Good value!
This monitor is a second display attached to my 24 iMac. It's colors may even be better than my 3 year old iMac's. I have the VGA input attached to my web server which I can view via the pip or fullscreen! I would definitely buy again
