Excellent For Color Printing
This is my second Asus monitor. I have used a 24 Asus monitor for the past four years and have had no problems with it. It iis easily calibrated and holds the calibration with no detectable change over time. I do quite a bit of large image printing using Lightroom CC and PhotoSho CC. The new 27 monitor arrived seeming very bright for my photo printing needs. The calibration process lowered the brightness which was set at 90 to 22. The monitor produces prints that virtully mirror the screen!

Great Display - works fantastic with PhotoShop
I like dealing with B&H with the professional service. All products received are new and in working condition. Mostly the lowest prices. The resolution is great, and connection via display port works flawless. No bad pixels and the sRGB mode looks perfect. An excellent monitor from a company with quality products.
I got this monitor to run at 2560x1440 under Windows 10 through HDMI. I'm pleased that it is very easy to read even the smaller icon text at this resolution. Setup was a snap... just plugged it in and all was running at the right resolution. I did not buy it for the speakers, but I end up using the monitor's rather than my separately powered speakers when I'm not listening to music. I only wish there was a USB hub in this monitor, but that's the only shortcoming I've seen.

Excellent Monitor, I love it and no issues so far
I did choose this monitor because it has very goodreviews (good colors) because it has HDMI, DVI and DP input ports and I needed a 2560x1440 for my laptop and desktop (I could not get a 4K asus monitor because my computers would not work with such resolution). This monitor was an upgrade after the 6-yo Dell U2209WA aimimg this mainly for photo-editing. It is generally nice however suffers from several clear caveats: (1) uneven backlit and colors from darker and yellowish ath the left to pure-white at the right; (2) colors are not as bold and vivd as in my old Dell U2209WA, somewhat dull even after calibration; (3) several attempts of calibration still did not give me even gamma across the spectrum; (4)... Also having problems with displayport
Search the comments and you will find numerous reports of problems with the display-port. It appears to be related to the monitors inability to wake from sleep mode and re-establish sync with the computer. Quick workaround is turn monitor off, literally pull the power cord for a minute and then turn it back on again. This typically works, but is really annoying! Nice Monitor for Photo Editing
Very nice monitor. Very bright in game and splendid modes. Will be used for photo editing so I stay in the less bright sRGB mode. sRGB colors seem calibrated and accurate. Wish AdobeRGB was an option. The only fault I really have is that the control buttons on the lower right are placed awkwardly and their use is not particularly intuitive - making changes is not as easy as it could be. It would be nice to have a software app that controls the same functions directly from the PC. Maybe such a thing exists - I have not yet looked. Overall very happy with this purchase and with B&H service.

Nice Monitor
The is a really nice monitor. My only quibble is that the maximum sound volume is still pretty low. If ASUS had spent just a little more money and put better speakers and/or a better amplifier in it, I would have absolutely given it 5 stars. Disclaimer: I have only had it in service for a week so I have no idea how long it will last.

Terrific Monitor
This monitor is simply splendid. I have been using it part-time for about a week now. It is very sharp and the color is outstanding. I use it mostly for video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro. Colors appear to be right-on and video looks really sharp. I'll do a little Photoshopping on occasion, but I haven't done much of that yet. But Photoshop and Lightroom look excellent so far. I'm using this monitor to edit photographs and design exhibitions--so far, very happy with color, contrast, resolution, responsiveness. I use an older MacPro computer, so the DVI-D connectivity is important

Good monitor
I use this monitor for digital photos for print ad copy, so I need a true monitor. After calibrating with Spyder I'm at a great place with it and able to get true print color and exposure. What you see is what the magazine will print.

Worth every penny
These displays are so great. I use 2 for photo editing and color correction. After calibrating with a Spyder, I found that the displays are near perfect sRGB as advertised. Fully adjustable swivel, height, and portrait/landscape orientation is not only convenient, but super easy to do. Sleek design, no obnoxious glossy surface, excellent color reproduction, tons of adjustability...what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, all at a great price.

I bought this as a companion monitor for the PB278Q I purchased when the monitor originally debuted. The pair are amazing for my desktop setup. I loved it then and I love it more now. Great monitor
What's not shown is how the monitor can move. It slides up down, tilts up down, the monitor rotates 90 degrees to a tall screen, and the base swivels around. The mac monitor looks nicer, but it can't touch what this can do.

Incredible Monitor! Use it with Adobe video and photo edit
The color is absolutely beautiful. I use it as my main monitor and to edit video. Photoshop looks great on it. I am very happy with my purchase. I went back and fourth between the 1080 and this one. The price was double but I use my monitor 7 hour plus a day. I took a chance and WOW. The colors and depth and the height adjustment make it easy to work with.

Wonderful Monitor
I use my computer to post process digital photographs and I calibrate my monitor every week or two. My old monitor would no longer calibrate into specs, so the B&H salesperson recommended this monitor as a replacement. It was backordered for about 5 weeks, but was well worth the wait. It took a day or two to get tweaked, but it has a beautiful image. The controls are easy to use. I couldn't be happier.

Great 2nd monitor to iMac
While I would like a second monitor to match up perfectly with the iMac's 27 screen, this is extremely close enough for me. The color is very close; I just can't get the contrast to match up perfectly. But otherwise I love having the extra screen real estate. One screen hosts Lightroom and the other, Photoshop. Perhaps the 27 Apple screen would be a match, but I'm happy saving the $$.The monitor swivels and rotates well.

Pleasantly lives up to its expectation
I purchased this second Asus monitor for my setup where I have 2 27 monitors plugges into my 27 5K iMac. Connecting the monitor via Displayport seemed to be the way to go and I was very relieved to witness the monitor boot up to the correct resolution, with no problems, right out of the box. Very nice display!

Awesome Monitor!!!
This monitor is crystal clear with the 2K resolution. Color is very nice with a few adjustments to the color profile in windows. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful monitor, this is my 2nd
I originally bought this monitor back a couple of months ago and had a cheaper one for my 2nd monitor. I wanted to upgrade to 2 the same professional grade monitors and bought my second one now. Nice monitors great resolution!
