I bought this mic some years back and it sounded bad the voice overs were low and it broke easy just from the headphone jack getting a shortage, all together save your $$$ the samson to go mic was better than this and I only paid $for it with the program. Much better. But this is a thumbs down for me

Very low gain level.

I bought this mike to record narrations on video editings. The gain level is very low, even when I set the Windows recording level at 100. The audio peaks do not go over -12dB when I speak (not shout!) at a distance of 3 inches from the mike. I do not know if it is defective or poorly designed, but I recommend that you consider other USB microphones.
