Where has this been all my life?
This is a huge upgrade from my late 2013 Core i7 iMac. Everything is faster. My only nit is that I had to purchase an adapter to use my existing Thunderbolt 2 dock and external drives. Fortunately the dock has HDMI so I didn't need a second one for my Thunderbolt 2 to display port cable. My biggest surprise was the SSD. Now that Apple are using the NVMe slot for a main drive the performance is staggering - close to 2GB/sec (bytes not bits)! Best of all - the didn't force me down the Catalina path - I'm still running Mojave and loving it.

iMac's are the greatest
This is my 4th iMac since 2006 when Apple started using Intel chips in their computer line up. I've been totally satisfied with every one of them. The design, lack of cable clutter, performance, screen quality are always better than the competition in my opinion. This 2019 27 with 5K Retina is the best iMac I've had to date. The only reason I ever upgrade is due to the operating system eventually out grows the hardware. I finally get to the point that I just can't resist getting a new iMac so I can benefit from the new software features.

iMac Delivers as Promised!
Our new Apple 27 iMAC is proving to exceed our expectations! As long time users of both PC and Apple products over the past 30 years, we have come to know that Apple products are our first choice. In retirement, we have pursued expanding our interest in photography. This IMac operates so efficiently to handle both Lightroom and Photoshop to meet our post processing needs. The 27 screen with Retina display provides the clarity and full color spectrum we need to do our best photo editing. What an amazing product!

Faster than iMac Pro
This model is particularly amazing because it has Intel i9 CPU with base clock 3.6GHz and that single core base clock makes it faster than base clock on the iMac Pro - you saving pretty much 5K for cheaper and better machine + you can upgrade your own RAM as well to 128GB no need to buy apple RAM. I can do 3D modeling on it, code websites and play games as well in bootcamp - Read Dead Redemption 2 - 1440p running smooth. If I want to render something you can attach via network a render PC farm with titans....

B&H Sale of new 27 Imac
Wonderful upgrade to my 5 year old IMac. Beautiful Retina display is a dream to view graphics and movies. Processing speed so much quicker albeit the 128gb upgrade I did to ram contributes greatly. Startup speed is about 10 seconds compared to average 18 on previous model. Thunderbolt 3 ports are amazing. Very pleased at delivery time and of course Apple service and packaging. B&H was very responsive to my questions during build. This was an excellent experience from seller and builder!

Perfect desktop
The display is spectacular. Most people know that. Speed is more than than needed, unless you're a production level video editor. Most people know that too. What most people don't mention is that the all in one design with wireless keyboard, track pad and mouse allows the iMac to be easily moved around home or office, moving it to where it is most convenient/most needed or moved away from prying eyes all together. Although putting it out of sight is a shame, the design is a work of art.

Happy with Apple
I recently purchased my very first Mac computer. Due to family circumstances I have had only minimal time to take it for a test drive. However, the monitor displays beautiful colors, and it seems easy to operate since I am already familiar with many aspects of Apples iOS system by using both an iPhone and iPad. I really like that you can start a project on the computer and review/edit it on another device if you choose. Thus far, I am very happy with my purchase.

iMac 27'' still my fav
I had a 2012 version that I'd used without problems since new. It did have some unexplained restarts recently, so decided to update. The screen resolution is improved and the processor and SSD are nice. I did find it impossible to get the virtual machine software to activate Windows 10 on this machine, inspire of several trials, tech support calls and reinstalling with Bootcamp twice. It seems i'll have to give that up and reboot to Bootcamp to use Windows now.

Finally a nice big screen
I have been using Mac computers at home since the first 128K Mac. This iMac replaces a 2011 MacBook Pro that has served me well but the new OS will not work on it. I have had some difficulty with updating some of the out of date productivity suite but I hope to solve those problems in the next few days. B&H was the easiest site to order from & comparable to the price for the same computer at Costco & I didn't have to drive the 40 miles to the nearest store.

Great upgrade from late 2014 iMac
wanted to take advantage of the new iMac with i9 processor and expanded memory to 64G. This is a beast. I do photo editing and large prints and wanted a machine that would decrease the time I spend doing editing of large files I print on canvas 3' x 5' and enlarging with AIGigapixel gives VERY large files. This machine is better suited for those files and performs very well. The color accuracy also seems better than the late 2014 5K as well. Very satisfied

Best All in ONE computer
The 27 inch iMac is really the gold standard for all in one desktop computers. The large 5k screen is amazing and the overall design of the computer allows a small footprint for such a large screen. Apple computers aren't cheap, but you get a quality product that will last a long time. This is my 3rd iMac since my first one in 2008. My first 2 lasted me 11 years and each one was passed down to my parents to use as they still had good useful life left.

Excellent purchase experience
Best price for product. Great customer service; First time B&H customer, I had some tech issues purchasing via their app. , shout out to Joel & Joey who walked me through the issues to quickly resolve. Both were super patient & knowledgeable. So great to talk to real employees vs outsourced. Good for B&H for keeping CS old school! I ordered on Monday, arrived (west coast USA) Wednesday with no issues. Product was as expected.

Beautiful screen and design
Great computer for its value.. Beautiful, fast and no cords all over the place.. 5K display itself worth 2000$ in my opinion.. I have $5000 Eizo monitors on my work to compare with iMac, and the difference in color rendering is minimal..for RGB color spaces almost no difference.. Apple promised free one year subscription for Aplle TV to anyone who buys new Apple tech. I bought the new iMac and free subscription doesnt work..

New iMacs run a barely supported OS in Catalina
Primary use is digital photography processing. Lightroom Classic runs great, but the Canon EOS Utility for downloading images from cameras will not run on Catalina properly (cannot connect to camera) which makes the system half-crippled for my purposes. Apparently, people using Nikon, Sony, Olympus, etc. have similar problems. I must continue to use my 2010 iMac to get actual work done! Not impressed!

Fantastic experience
I got a better deal from B&H than I could with Apple or other vendors on a particular iMac spec I wanted. The big box stores didn't sell this spec, but luckily found it here. It arrived earlier than I expected and everything was new and works beautifully. I also appreciated that B&H contacted me first to ensure it wasn't a fraudulent purchase before they shipped it. 5/5 would buy from B&H again!

First iMac
I have all apple products iPad, iPhone X , apple watch, thought this would be a great new product to interact well with all of my products. Still trying to figure out a lot about it , so used to simple dell desktop that I had before this is so high tech savvy , but with help of apple support hope will get the hang of it. Everybody said this is a great computer. Just will take a while to learn.

No Need more
I was coming from a Late 2013 27 Imac (with 32gb ram and 960ssd) , with a tight budget I only could afford the cheaper 2019 Imac ( thanks b&h for the $200 discount) . Im really impressed with this Imac, I have added 8gm more of ram to get 16gb, and in the future will replace the HD for one ssd, but for now it works great and the 5k display makes a huge difference for my photography work.

Color Gradeing Machine.
I purchased this as an update for my color grading part time business and I am overjoyed at its performance. I purchased OWC aftermarket ram bring it to 64gb. I'm running Davinci Resolve 16.1 and Adobe CC. I can run the preview windows at full 4K resolution with several Lutz and an immeasurable number of nodes and masks without any frame drops. More than enough machine for most studios.

Chose this over iMac Pro
I mustve watched every YouTube video about the subject, but I wanted the perfect machine for my adobe cc workflow and this was it, with the maxed out aftermarket ROM. I edit mostly long form documentary style 4K footage with a 1080 final. We incorporated a proxy workflow and this machine has been flawless. It is noticeably superior to my old 2017 iMac in every measurable way.

The Swimsuit Model of Apple PCs
I-9 9900KF CPU, Vega 48 Graphics, 2 TB SSD, and 8GB RAM (which I upgraded myself to 64GB). What a screamer: scoring 6323/34633 in Geek Bench 4. The 5K display is breathtaking. I like the keyboard and mouse, too. This is the ultimate value for music studio Production. If you need portability the 16 MacBook Pro is the one. If not then THIS is the best desktop value. I LOVE IT!

Monster of a machine!
I've been doing most of my work on laptops for the last 10 years or so. I decided it was time for a workhorse desktop for some of the video and graphics work. I'm glad I finally bit the bullet and bought this. I only got the 8GB RAM and ordered an upgrade kit to install myself. It was easy to install and saved a lot compared with Apple's insane memory upgrade costs.

Good Screen----but can be a bit slow
Its a great computer to edit photographs on! The screen is also nice because you can easily change the lighting on the screen. However, it has already made me a bit nervous because of the tiny little glitches I am seeing (the fan in the computer was becoming very loud) and it does take a while to load. (I am mostly using lightroom and photoshop--basic skill level)

Yes it's fast!!!
This will replace my 2010 27 iMac. I don't see a world of difference in the display, both computers look great. I added 64 GB of memory for a total of 72. I can't believe how fast it is. It seems like it loads programs almost instantly. Great computer built like a tank. My 2010 is still up and running. It will probably outlive apples' ability to support its OS.

Everything I expected it would be!
This iMac replaced an early 2009 Mac Pro which was no longer able to use the latest IOS releases and programs I needed would not update because they wanted the latest IOS (mojave). With its 8 core I9 processor and independently purchased and installed 129GB RAM, it handles my photo finishing and independent movie editing well. B&H made it all painless, too!
