SUPER FAST PLENTIFUL MEMORY

LOVE IT!
I got 3 weeks with my brand new iMac 27 and I'm loving it. I'm a graphic designer and video editor. And everything been running smoothly just how I like it and the 5K display is amazing, every detail is on point. I would buy this again if I have to.

Outperforms the 21
Reason to get is a larger better resolution screen, and SSD. I also added an additional 16GB of RAM for a total of 24GB. I got it here on B&H I got the OWC for $98 total worth it and completely compatible no performance issues.

Best performance / price
I Maxs it out except for RAM. I ordered the minimum 8 GB of RAM and swapped it out manually to 128 GB of RAM. Its a screamer.

Super Fast!

Awesome!
Great machine and beautiful screen. Very fast computer. I immediately upgraded the ram (from 8 GB to 32 GB) and have no regrets. Great purchase and good price. Computer arrived in excellent shape. Box was damaged on one edge but the way it is packaged the computer was not harmed.

B&H Sale of new 27 Imac
Wonderful upgrade to my 5 year old IMac. Beautiful Retina display is a dream to view graphics and movies. Processing speed so much quicker albeit the 128gb upgrade I did to ram contributes greatly. Startup speed is about 10 seconds compared to average 18 on previous model. Thunderbolt 3 ports are amazing. Very pleased at delivery time and of course Apple service and packaging. B&H was very responsive to my questions during build. This was an excellent experience from seller and builder!

New 27 imac
This thing works like a charm. I had the 2010 27 imac and it wasn't going to work with the new operating system. So I gave my wife the old one and I'm writing this review on the new one. Also, love the rechargeable mouse.

Perfect desktop
The display is spectacular. Most people know that. Speed is more than than needed, unless you're a production level video editor. Most people know that too. What most people don't mention is that the all in one design with wireless keyboard, track pad and mouse allows the iMac to be easily moved around home or office, moving it to where it is most convenient/most needed or moved away from prying eyes all together. Although putting it out of sight is a shame, the design is a work of art.

Great price for Upgrade to 27 iMac
Replacing my 10 year old 21.5iMac, this is an exciting purchase. It was a seamless download of my data using Time Machine. In about two hours, I was up and running with all my transferred files on the new computer. Overall, a perfect transaction with lightning fast delivery in four days.

Good Computer
I moved up from a late 2012 iMac to this early 2019 iMac and I have to say not to much difference. The screen has higher resolution but it's hard to see the difference The USB ports are somewhat faster then the old machine. The SSD is far faster than the Fusion drive in the old mach. The Thunderbolt 3 ports are a problem because most of the hardware for them has compatibly problems making them almost useless at this time. My advice if you have a usable computer now don't bother to upgrade. As for B&H They are the place to buy any electronics super service fast delivery. they are the best.

Great upgrade from late 2014 iMac
wanted to take advantage of the new iMac with i9 processor and expanded memory to 64G. This is a beast. I do photo editing and large prints and wanted a machine that would decrease the time I spend doing editing of large files I print on canvas 3' x 5' and enlarging with AIGigapixel gives VERY large files. This machine is better suited for those files and performs very well. The color accuracy also seems better than the late 2014 5K as well. Very satisfied

PHOTOGRAPHY WORKHORSE
I bought this iMac 27 5K Display with the 9th generation I9 CPU and 8 gigabytes of RAM with a terabyte SSD drive. I immediately added 32 gigabytes of RAM for a total of 40 Gigabytes of RAM. I use this with several camera. My photos are usually huge in the RAW when imported and swell as I work on them in Photoshop. My prior photo computer was a Mac Pro. This one seems like it will serve me well for many years. The display is wonderful, and as outfitted the computer speeds through my work. Get what you will want in the IMac before you buy it as it has little ability to expand.

A Beautiful machine, with some new features.
It has taken me a few days to learn most (I hope) of the new features of this machine. But it has finally trained me. WIIIDE screen, lovely colors. I liked the 16 Gig memory. I use it for email, web surfing, mostly just home stuff. But I think it can handle a lot more.

No Need more
I was coming from a Late 2013 27 Imac (with 32gb ram and 960ssd) , with a tight budget I only could afford the cheaper 2019 Imac ( thanks b&h for the $200 discount) . Im really impressed with this Imac, I have added 8gm more of ram to get 16gb, and in the future will replace the HD for one ssd, but for now it works great and the 5k display makes a huge difference for my photography work.

This is clearly the most powerful Mac Ive ever owned. Do yourself the favor and get an SSD...the fusion drives hold the system back!!!

This computer is truly amazing! My previous iMac (2010) just gave up the ghost and this is my replacement. This bad boy really moves with my photo editing and makes my work a real pleasure again.

I was looking for a machine...
That was much faster than my 2016 MBP and the 2012 MP when it comes to chewing through 4k F-Log H.265 10-bit files and doing all the things modern motion processing, editing, rendering and exporting requires. I found that machine. The i9 8-core is faster than I expected. Incredibly happy I made the jump. Not to mention it seems to run Capture 1 and Fujifilm RAW files from X-T3's, T2's, GFX50s's and GFX100's exceptionally well. Export times are speedy! Speakers sound pretty good, too, and fill the room with rich sound. You won't be disappointed with this machine at all! I know I'm not.
