Love it
Arrived in two days in perfect condition. I updated the OS and my new iMac is running flawlessly. I took the plunge and upgraded my Mac mini, it was a little more than I wanted to spend but I went with the 512gb SSD, it's fast and I don't regret it. I hope it continues to perform like this.

So far, so good!
I tend to hold on to electronics until their breaking point, as evidenced by my 8-year-old 15" Macbook Pro that had finally reached its limit. Apple 21.5" iMac
It's been nine years since purchasing my last iMac. There have been so many changes including OS and security updates, peripheral upgrades and audio/visual enhancements. The computer is definitely lighter in weight due to the absence of an internal optical drive. Gorgeous machine
My godson wanted a new computer for his tenth birthday and I said "sure, you will get a MAC". B&H had a discount on this machine so I ordered one. As usual, they shipped it in no time! He had been using some cheap "plasticky computer" and when he opened the box, all he said was "WOW!!". We fired it up and he was a happy camper :) I am still using this 8 year old MacBook Pro and this iMac is a different animal for sure. The latest MacOS is awesome. Maybe I should upgrade mine as well and I know where to shop one at = B&H.

beautiful machine
Love this imac. Fast, sleek, works great. Replaced our 7 year old imac which was starting to repeatedly turn itself off and get slower.

Beautiful machine but...
Making a big jump from Mac Mini with mountain lion OS to this one with High Sierra. Migrating files over was easy, but big pain is that when I try to open and use my Downloads folder the whole finder hangs. Can't access those files directly. Could not find a solution online, but did find people with similar issue. Are things faster than my old Mac. Can't really tell. Apps are working better, but that was b/c my old browser wasn't working well with the most modern websites.

2017 21.5 inch Imac
I replaced my aging 2009 iMac with this 2.3 iMac. I wouldn't have replaced my old one as it was running fine, but no longer supported by Apple and programs I used would not run on it anymore, so I had to buy one. I don't think it is a whole lot faster, as I had put in 8 gb of ram into matching this one. Not powerful enough for Adobe Premiere
I was warned by a colleague but didn't want to spend the money for a more powerful processor, reasoning that I wasn't going to be doing a lot of graphics or other demanding tasks when editing on Premiere . . . but it is very sluggish with this software. Need to re-boot every few hours, when it gets super slow. I'm getting by with it but would strongly recommend buying the more expensive iMac with more processing power for any kind of editing. ... Blazingly Fast
It performs as advertised, AMAZING! B&H delivered ahead of schedule. That said, my Fedex driver did NOT stop to get my signature. I sweated for three hours not knowing it was hidden behind my front door. I do wish it hd a disc drive.

I love my new iMac. We have always had Mac computers, but this is my first iMac. The only thing that I don't like is that the keyboard doesn't have a numerical pad. My old Mac had that, & I prefer that type of keyboard.

Good
Computer came in good shape. No damage to box and had everything I needed to turn it on and go. It is a little slower than I expected given my previous experience with Mac. Not sure if that is a laptop vs. desktop thing or what. Overall happy with this for my office computer.

It's a Mac.what's not to like
My son took a Looooooooonnnngggg time transferring data from her old Mac to the new one. He used to work at a mac dealer and worked on the computers, so he's no dummy. Haven't had tome to set mine up, but my wife likes hers.

I bought this iMac to replace an essentially identical 6 year old iMac that was causing me fits with frequent freezing when using it for emails and occasionally in Word. I came to hate the rotating rainbow colored balloon that appeared when the computer locked up and could only be remedied by a hard shutdown and manual restart.
