Onscreen Keyboard Missing Important Keys
I was all ready to give this iPad a five-star rating, but the onscreen keyboard is still missing important keys. Specifically, I want Apple to return the undo, redo, and all arrow keys. I bought an iPad instead of a computer for traveling because it is lighter, but I find typing on it to be very difficult without those keys. I do not want to add extra weight by attaching an external keyboard. I do love the home button and strongly dislike facial recognition, so I chose the 2017 model over the 2018 iPad Pro. Other than the typing problem, this is an excellent iPad.

What a steal!
At the deeply discounted price point I got it for, this is a fantastic value. I was concerned about the size, but I am happy to have gotten the larger size. I can see how the larger size will satisfy my productivity needs, even as a casual user, so don't let all the reviews you'll read steer you to a smaller sized screen unless you're a power user. Yes, it's not as portable, 1-handed operation, etc., so if that stuff is very important to you, don't buy it. And I don't miss not getting the new iPad Pro that is just so expensive. I would not buy the Apple Ipad without checking with Apple.
I did not know when I ordered cellular service on the Ipad (in addition to wifi), you had to specify your mobile service provider. I have my cell service with Verizon which includes Ipad cellular Ipad service. On my older Ipad, I was able to easily add Verizon service when I switched from US Cellular. on my new Ipad, it only works with ATand T, TMobile and Sprint. When I went to Verizon, they said I had to request a different type of Ipad with cellular service compatible with Verizon. If I had know that when ordering, I would have ordered a different Ipad.

Fantastic price and IPad
So it is a bit dated technology. But it handles Lightroom and all my processing needs with ease. As long as this model is good for IOS updates, my experience is IPads last a long time. I would not have purchased this large of a screen size without the discount and I will say, I love the larger screen size. It is a bit cumbersome to handle but the upside of the larger screen for older eyes is substantial. Havent used a keyboard yet and not sure I will. I find myself doing more on this IPad and less on the laptop. I would highly recommend the purchase.

GREAT tool for musicians
I bought this right before Christmas 2018 as a tool to use to start digitizing my music library. I have reams of sheet music that needs organizing, and I am just DONE. I do not go to any gigs or my studio without this ipad. Using apps like ForeScore and ScanGenius has saved me so much time and so much PAPER! I also got the ipad pro pen so that I can make quick and easy edits. So far this tool (other than the fact that I need to make sure I charge it overnight) is the best thing since sliced bread. I got it quickly from B&H and am very happy with it!

Love this iPad, and B&H price!
Delighted with the monstrously large display and 512GB, plus the MUST HAVE headphone jack output (sorry Apple, but your idea to take that away the audio port in the newest model sucks!) As a musician this machine doubles as lighted sheet music, an iReal Pro chart reader/player, plus all the iPhone/email/messages stuff in one. I bought Apple Pencil and still tinkering with all it does and loving it. Multifaceted awesomeness. Thank you Apple, and thx B&H for making it possible for me to have this wonderful and useful machine at an affordable price!

Love it.
It is a great ipad. Had ipad pro9.7 before, and it was stolen. So I needed to buy a new one. I ordered a new ipad, 2017 and realized it is not as good as the one I had. The difference was noticable, the screen was not responsive, the sound was terrible. So I started to look for an ipad pro, tested the new one , 2018 at apple store, was not my thing, and crazy expensive. So I bought 12.9 , thinking, that it may be to big. Mistake. Great size, great quality, and compering to the new one , aroun 700$ cheaper then the new one, great deal, thank B&H!

Apple 12.9 iPad Pro mid 2017
Expedite shipping and expertly packaged New Ipad. I just love this new iPad and I feel that I got a great deal for the money. I will never buy retail store again because I saved nearly $700.00! Buying it through BHphoto. This is my third iPad and largest and it performs to the max as though it was a laptop. The multiple screen feature is great! It's a beast with 512gb . This one is the best price I could find on secondary market by $300. I will be shopping and checking BHphoto for the items I want first instead of big box stores.

Happen to call B&H to find out about an ad I saw for the apple ipad pro 12.9 inch 2nd gen to make sure it wasn't refurbished since the price was so good. The customer service rep was EXCELLENT. I decided to purchase it right over the phone. It literally showed up 2 days later in perfect condition and I couldn't be happier. Its an amazing tablet. I was also able to finance for 12 mos. Interest free! Anytime I need electronics I will definately check out B&H first. Not only are their prices great but so is their customer service!

Unparalleled!
I bought this new product, and I couldnt be happier! Agreat value on an older version, but I got so much more bang for my buck! I got an Apple product, and got Apple Care to go with it. They trew in a screensaver that you cant even tell is on the IPad Pro, though I had to install it myself, everything was made simple, for the novice like me. I shop here FIRST for my electronic needs! Everything about dealing with them is simple, timely and expedient. I buy from them with confidence, and you should too!

New to iPad
Having used pcs since 1980, I resisted the iPad, but enjoyed using my wifes, and I am making the switch. The display is gorgeous. I do miss a mousepad because my fat finger has trouble selecting the correct option in a list, but I am learning. I find the multiple bend folding cover I bought to be a nuisance; would rather have a stiff folding cover. IPad is fine and was delivered promptly in original Apple packaging. New 2017 model was at out the same price as refurbished ones.

Great
I was hesitant about using this place that I have never heard of. The reviews were excellent so i just decided what the heck. I received my 2 iPads in about 3 days? And they were both in excellent condition. They also called after a day and asked if i had ordered iPads just to make sure i did i guess. I was pleased with the service and condition of the iPads. They included a free glass protector which wasnt a cheap flimsy thing but a hard plastic to apply to the glass.

My first was an original 16gb 9.7 iPad, my second an iPad Air 2 purchased 3.5 years ago, my third a 2018 iPad with 128 gb and now this incredible beauty. I had debated buying the newest 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 or this one. After much research I chose this 2017 model....the $480 off was a decisive factor.

Love it
This has made life so easy. I am an aspiring digital artist and i needed a new tool a friend recommended this and so i decided to give it a shot. Best decision ever. It runs very smoothly. The hand gestures and not having to calibrate the apple pen is really time saving. The pen is very on point with pen pressure with no lag whatsoever. There isnt a whole lot of difference between this version and the new 2018 model besides process speed save a few hundred dollars

Almost a laptop replacement
Got this device as an upgrade from the first iPad Pro 12.9 after two and some years due to screen issues and battery drain. Both could be fixed thru repair but I decided to option for the new device. It is a bit faster. Screen is a bit brighter. Other than that - same as before. Together with the keyboard and pencil this is almost a laptop replacement. Since I got my iPad Pro I am using my laptop far less than before. The only drawback is size and weight.

So far so good!
Ive only had this iPad pro for a few days but so far Im happy to have made the purchase! The 12.9 screen is perfect for surfing the internet, working on Lightroom mobile for quick edits that dont need the time of the full Lightroom program. It was a breeze to set up and get started. Even though its a second generation (the 3rd one out this year) I opted for size over the newer updates. Its perfect for me and the price was exactly what my budget allowed!

Love it
Got this Apple 12.9 iPad Pro for my husband so he could run Set List Maker for when he performs. We had never purchased an Apple product, but he is definitely hooked. The size is great, the screen is outstanding and the program runs easily. The camera is a bonus although the size of the iPad makes it a little awkward. He does suggest you NEVER load a game on it, cuz they run easily as well. :) The order process from B&H was also handled easily. Thanks.

- I got it on sale for great price - Item was on backorder, but one shipped it got to my house in 2 days - wife loves the iPad (it was a Christmas gift) - speedy processor - large screen - Apple Pencil support - it will last another 5 years or so for what my wife dies with it - invest in USB-c carger and Apple USB-c to lightning cable for better charging. The included 12W charger is very slow. - B&H customer service was pleasant to deal with

Beautiful display, fast and a bit cumbersome
I've had all the different 9.7" iPad's until now and this is different, almost in the MacBook laptop category. It is big and heavier than I expected, especially after adding an Apple keyboard, glass screen protector and back cover. Still, when using it one forgets (almost) the size and weight and enjoys the performance and incredible screen. Overall I'm happy to own it but the smaller, more convenient iPads still have a place in the spectrum.

Ideal for Watching Video Clips
Initially I was tempted to purchase the newer IPad Pro model, but the idea of not having a home button was a turn off for me so I decided to go with the IPad Pro from 2017 since I typically use IPads for surfing the web, checking email and watching movies downloaded from iTunes. So I didnt need any new fancy bells and wells that newer models offered. Plus with a $350 discount offered by B&H I figured it was a no brainer to go with this one.

Great product, price and service
I have iPods, a mini and a 9.7. I love them all and still use them. But the 12.9 is my favorite. This is the best price and the storage is awesome. It arrived on time, in a brand new apple box. I went with this model for the price, storage, screen size and compatibility with my other apple products. I use it for everything, watching movies, paying bills, research, editing papers, music, games and much more. I would definitely buy it again.

My first Ipad and I am blown away
Thin, light, fast, and the screen is SO BIG. The display makes everything look beautiful. I use it for music and piano apps and the sound quality is great. The price is the best and its such a good deal... I always try to buy previous models because of the huge savings! I dont think you can even buy from Apple store anymore. I am excited to get more productive use out of this machine. I need the pencil tho! Anyway, I highly recommend.

Great for a Realtor
As a real estate agent you have to stay up with technology. Using the I-pad pro with cellular I can bring a whole new dimension to my listing presentations by adding I-pad presentations. This I-pad may be too big for some peoples taste but when sharing a presentation and two people are looking at the screen its perfect. B&H photo had a terrific price and the I-pad is fast with a crystal clear screen. No cons so far.

LOVE IT!
My laptop broke down and I didnt like that Macs are so expensive and dont have touch screens. I bought this ipad with the Logitech keyboard (cheaper elsewhere) and it works just like a laptop for me. Its fast and easy to use. Very light and love the extra storage. I debated the newer version, but for the savings - I went with the 6 month older version and for the money am very happy I did. Would highly recommend.
