Slick, but could be slicker
Slick headphones, great sound quality and connectivity. Generally comfortable, but starts to pinch after a while. Overall, they’re decent for the price, but better comfort and less bulk would make them perfect.

Amazing Sound
Works perfectly with the PS4, has its own cable so can be used as a standard headphones if needed. PS4 also has its own app that can be used to change settings for various games on the headset itself.

Hinges are Fragile
One of my ear cuffs is now dangling like Connor McDavid - I was carrying them to another room and crack, the hinges snapped - my left ear cuff is hanging by a wire - still works - may try to super glue - but beware of those fragile hinges. Sound-wise they are fine - nothing magical. Microphones work well it seems - good controls on the set. Overall probably worth the $122 - but again the hinges should have been more robust rather than cheap thin plastic considering how they fold - a lot of wear and tear at that spot through time.

Good set but falls short
These have the 7.1 which is great and adds extra to your gaming. No Bluetooth on these so you can only connect to external sources via headphone jack. My set occasionally won't connect to the dongle when I switch them on so I have to get up and unplug the USB and reconnect. Sound quality is ok not the best. Cannot notice much diff with the different settings in the app feels more like a gimmick then anything else. If your a serious gamer I'd say invest in a better set and pay more.

Great headset!
In my opinion it's very good stuff. Pros: *Great sound quality *7.1 system with 3D Audio *Nice design *Good sound level *Very good cennectivity *Good noise reduction *You don't need to charge them if you use it with mobile, there are passive as well Minus: *Didn't find yet I can highly recommend them for ps4 players!

PS4 Platinum Headphones
Cannot get them to work with my PS4 and Samsung 4K HD television. Downloaded the Sony Headphone App through the PlayStation Store and followed the instructions thereafter and still can’t get them to work! There’s obviously a software glitch

Solid headphones with great sound clarity.
Really impressed with the quality of these headphones and the sound is immaculate at the side of other, more expensive pairs on the market. The only thing worth mentioning is the connectivity is sometimes a little temperamental and have to unplug the USB stick and reconnect. Would recommend to anyone with a ps4 over any other pair of headphones as the downloadable app specific to Sony headphones is also incredible as it allows you to change the EQ settings easily and exceptionally well.

Wow what a headset
Having watched online reviews and read numerous blogs I bought this headset not sure what to expect! All I can say is Wow! Whoever marked this down on their online reviews are wrong in my opinion. Sound quality is great it's comfortable even after 3hrs. And good build quality! Really happy with this purchase!!

the headset looks amazing
Lovely designed and very easy and comfortable in use. Sound quality is great and the microphone is brilliant too However the USB stick overheats really quickly and gets hot to the touch!

Decent once the headband has been dealt with
Features are mostly great.. good wireless, decent mic, easy controls. Dongle is slightly annoying. However, out of the box, they're spectacularly uncomfortable for the price. Ear pads are serviceable but the headband is awful. It bears the full weight of the headset and will give you headache after 20 minutes. BUT, repurposing a strap cover from another pair of headphones makes them far more comfortable and usable - plenty of options can be found online.

Great headset - worth the money
I was a bit dubious about spending that much money on a PS4 headset, but it is brilliant. It does not disappoint on comfort or on design. You even get a protective bag and the product box doubles as a storage protection box - nice bonus. The connectivity is fantastic i'm still connected A floor in my house to the console. The sound quality is good (not fantastic) it's a lot better with games that have the specific sound apps made for the headset. The sound is crisp and full though.

Great investment
Comfortable around the ears and lightweight. This is a marked improvement on the original 2.0 wireless headset. Well made and designed. Audio is crisp and clear, using the PS4 headset app on the console you are able to customise the types of sound to suit the type of genre game. Some games even have bespoke audio settings premade for you to add onto the headset. 3d surround sound really gives games a good depth. Great Upgrade to the Stero Headset.
Great headset, got these as an upgrade to my old PlayStation stero headset which I've had since launch. The platinums have better speakers and feel a lot lighter to wear. The sound is amazing, you get the virtual surround sound and also 3D surround sound which is amazing with compatible games. Definitely worth paying the extra for the better sound and build quality.

Very good sound, slightly disappointing mic
The sound quality is very good and the 7.1 virtual surround works very well, but the bass is lacking somewhat. The headset is rather heavy which means it may become uncomfortable after a while, but at least for me this is very minimal. The mic is a little disappointing as it's not as good as other headsets available for a much lower price. That being said, to get a headset with the same audio quality as the platinums, as well as a good mic, you're looking at paying at least £200.
