good lens
I use this lens to make 16 by 20 prints for photo competitions. When cropping for this dimension the mediocre corners are cropped out and the new corners are very usable. A good little lens for the way I use it !!!!

Crisp images and very practical
This lens is a great option for your Sony mirrorless. The image quality is great for this type of lens and its a must for travel and everyday photography. It is light weight and useful lens from wide angle to 50mm.

Good for a kit lens, Will need post processing
For the price its actually pretty good. Expect to make lens corrections in Lightroom or other software. Personally I'm not crazy about the 'power zoom' feature, it works really well, i just prefer manual zoom.

Not up to camera
Crazy vignetting at white angle, very slow start up, autofocus skip quite often weak product unless you are looking to ideal condition all the time may be then this lens would be up to task.

i like this
i like this lens, i would like to see this lens wider, for a kit lens its good, but i will build a small lens kit, this portrait was taken on A6300 , great camera, nice work sony,

These are actual dimensions measured with the lens mounted (IOW, not including the mounting flange). That is 2.5 x 1.5 inches. The dimensions shown in SPECS are pure fantasy.

Good Response

Not ideal for Video
It drives me insane when this lens will not autofocus correctly. It happens far too often which makes it pretty terrible if you're using it as a video lens.

Not sharp at all.
The lens is nice and compact which makes it perfect for traveling but it is just an all around bad lens when it comes to sharpness. Distortion is bad too.

Very good for such a tiny lens
I find this tiny lens to be better than I expected, and it will be useful with the a6500 when the smallest possible kit is required.
