I use an SLR, but like to have a good point and shoot for those immediate moments you need one. This is a nice small, compact little camera. I've actually found it easier to use than my Canon S95, which broke recently. My main reason for getting it, is I love panoramas but was tired of stitching and this is great, even though the files are smaller. I just wish it had RAW, then it would be perfect. I took a couple snow photos and they looked amazing, perfectly exposed in nice bright sunlight with blue skies.

Excellent Travel Camerea
Recently used on NZ & Oz trip. Photos very sharp with good contrast in all circumstances. Videos exceptional, even in very low light. I passed down my WX150 to my wife. Both of us like the picture quality of the sony's as well as the easy pocketability.

I wanted to love it . . .
Adorable compact camera. I wanted to love it, but kept it for only a couple of days before returning it. Great Zoom capabilities and BEAUTIFUL sharp, clear photos of still life and landscape, BUT I tried many different settings in attempting to take acceptable pictures of people, and I was not happy with the results, as everyone looked either washed out or sallow, or ghoulish, with untrue skin tones. Very disappointing. If you are not interested in taking portraits of people, this is a wonderful camera, but I like taking pictures of people, so, unfortunately, it didn't work for me.

Nice camera!
So far I really like this camera. 20 zoom is a great plus. My last camera was only 7x and this makes a big difference. The real reason we bought this one is the small size. We wanted something that would fit in a pocket or in a purse. This fits the bill. I also like the optical image stabilization. There is no memory card included, but that's probably ok, since when they are included they are too small to really use. Camera came fast and seems perfect. I've only had it a couple of weeks. No view finder, but so far that seems ok.

Huge zoom, little camera!
My fianc and I bought this camera for a recent trip to Costa Rica and it was great. Clear photos, easy to use. Perfect point and shoot with a great zoom and lots of settings.

Great Compact with Lots of Features
This is a great camera for travel and as a walk around. Takes clear, sharp pictures with excellent white balance. Built in flash is very powerful and can be a bit over blown when used under the wrong conditions. Easy to access controls for brightness and color work very well. Zoom is adequate for most conditions. Overall, very happy with this camera.

sorry, very disappointed
excess contrast disappointing resolution, poor color gradients, red-orange casts, washed out flash pics. I need a camera that takes good pics,not full of gadgets. Underperforms my 6 yr old Pentax p/s, way too expensive.

I have a a57 which takes great pics and wanted a small camera to carry to the dog park to get pics of grand dog and other places for mainly people shots. Great little point & shoot upgrade
Small, loaded with features and controls. Needed an upgrade and this has Great HD video and takes 4K pix if I can figure out how. Most features and basic operation are very intuitive and work great. Good battery life. Manual both in the box and online is terrible, but the camera is great. Wi-Fi is clumsy. Needed it for college reunion and the product and picture quality is fabulous for the money.
