One of the best around this price point
Quick little camera, quick to focus and shoot. It would be a killer if it had manual controls. Bought it for my nephew and it's perfect for him. After touching and trying all the cameras in that price range at B&H it was the one with the best finish and a quick shutter. The other ones were laggy and more plastiquy.

Overlook my bad review of 3-27-2015
after returning 4-other brands with similar prices, I find the culprit was windows-8. which did not want to download from the cameras, or, sd-cards. Unless i did it in a roundabout way that most times only let me burn data-dvd's. After getting a new PC. (Windows-7-Pro) from HP, which has My Movie - Movie Maker, I can now burn AVCHD movies. Good camera
I aam very happy with the camera. Of course it has negative points. Delete of pics one by one.Depending the pic size card can cointain various volumes of pics. By trial and error i found out the size I need. Camerea does nog vie you the number of pics you can take. But with the size choosen, I could make approx 1300 pics. Bad. Bad. Bad.
Gave it 1-star because there is no lower rating. bought the camera 24-days ago for a special occasion. got full refund today. My old 2005 Fujifilm E-900 still works great. But it couldn't zoom while making a movie & didn't fit in my T-shirt pocket. Sony uses a proprietory system which makes it almost impossible to download to a laptop. (W-8). Great value, surprising size
very compact, very affordable and takes great pictures. easy to use panorama, and good presets make for very easy shooting. two downsides - limited manual controls (e.g. long exposures and so on) and the need to use sony's software to use the wifi function of the camera.

Poor tech support
The instruction manual has little detail on use of camera or what on screen icons represent. Web site offers no more information. Images must be deleted one at a time. Hard to do if you have hundreds of images on the chip. Does not provide information on how full memory is. Nice and small, easy to use yes. But on-line tech support knows nothing about this camera. You're on your own. I'd look elsewhere.

great camera to tie to the wing of a Piper Supercub and control with a 6 volt solenoid. Much better than a GoPro which has too wide a field of view
