I bought it solely for video
I bought it solely for video on a Came-TV gimbal coupled with a Rokinon 12mm. Very lightweight. But now I use it as my walking around camera, family functions etc. The menu system takes some getting use to. The remote app is quite good! Something I wish my Nikon's had! Step it up Nikon!!

Fantastic!
I replaced my NEX7 with the A6300 and what a difference, speed, frames per second, and the menu is much cleaner!. I took the A6300 to my son's basketball game and it performed better than my Canon 7D with a 70-200 2.8 lens. Plus it is small enough to take anywhere! Great camera and lens.

Great Little Camera
I'm really enjoying this camera. Lightweight, super-portable, and great image quality. Wish battery life were longer, the menu can be a bit much, and the dials are quite close together due to the size if the camera, but that is all secondary for what you get in this small of a package.

Amazing Tool
IQ of this camera is amazing. Easy to set up and use. The improvements over the a6000 on paper don't seem all that impressive but going from the 6000 to the 6300 is a pretty big difference in the real world. Awesome AF and plenty of features for any type of photography you might do.

Great camera, fast delivery
It's a very good camera at its price point. Auto focus is definitely the fastest among all mirrorless cameras I've tried. I'm planning to get more lens for it. Delivery was fast (3 business days around Christmas time), I was charged extra by customs over the border to Canada though.

Amazing camera - amazing experience with B&H
Everything I was looking for taking the first step into the mirrorless camera world. Amazing pictures and - although not the best lenses - great value if getting started. Would highly recommend getting both lenses rather than just the 16-50mm. Great experience as expected with B&H.

Excellent
Great little camera. My first time with a Sony. Its super easy to use and takes great images and videos. The kit lens does a nice job, but I see adding a longer lens down the road. I love the size and quality. Battery life isn't outstanding so make sure to buy an extra one or two.

Excellent but missing GPS
An excellent camera, I use it for travel because of its light weight and compact size. The only thing that it is missing is GPS for geotagging the images. The 4K and 120FPS HD video capability add real versatility to this camera. The focus is so fast you don't realize it happens.

Good camera but...
Sony a6300 is one of my favourite cameras for videos and photos, the only 2 problems are the small size of the body and is a delicate electronic device. My first Sony suffered a damaged inside that blocked all the buttons. I didnt received any response from Sony about the issue.

Whats not to love
I already own the Sony A7rII so the A6300 was just supposed to be a second camera but I find that I'm using it more than my primary camera. The A6300 is not only blinding fast but the results are tack sharp. Its also great in low light situations. Another success story for Sony.

Small size and awesome autofocus make this camera a winner.
I bought this camera to replace a Canon 60D which was just to big to carry around with my small child. The size is great and the Eye Detect AF is amazing at snatching a clear shot of my 1-year-old who is rarely still. Coupled with the 35mm f/1.8 I have not been disappointed.

Better Than Expected
I had a hard time deciding between the a6300 and a6500. I was worried I might be missing out on the touchscreen focus, but I have been able to achieve faster results with the manual focus. Get the a6300 and save your money for nicer lenses. the 16-50mm is nothing special.

awesome camera
I purchased the A6300 as a backup to my A7RII. It serves the purpose perfectly. Shooting mostly with the Batis 25, the A6300 produces amazing images. Focus is quick and overall performance has exceeded my expectations. Even battery life is a little better than expected.

Raw files
I only wish that Sony raw files and Photoshop would be compatible...So I am only shooting jpegs... Wished I had known this prior buying the A6300 Maybe I would have stayed with Fujifilm... Other wise it is a wonderful camera! Maybe B&H could mention this situation.....

Responsive and Functional
I learned this camera in a week and took it into a Pharmacy Photo Shoot for a training program I am developing. The focus capturing was key. I do kinda miss the touch screen on the NEX, but in the MF mode with Expanded Focus Point, all is right in the world. Onwards!

Great Camera
Great Camera. Really good in low light. Photo and video both look great. Rolling shutter only existent in 4K and not noticeable in normal video uses. Almost all footage that has visible rolling shutter would not be used because it occurred when panning aggressively.

Sony Alpha a6300-A+
This is the perfect camera. Small, portable with the ability to interchange lenses. The big plus for me is the eye piece. I am tired of using cameras with screen-only and dealing with the glare, reflections, etc. This camera allows you to see the subject clearly.

Excellent camera
This is an upgrade from my a6000 which I loved! It got me through many dance seasons while shooting professional performances on stage. And the A6300 is a wonderful upgrade which just raises the bar. Love love love it and recommend it for pros and amateurs alike!

Great Autofocus + nice 4k slo-mo
Have kids? If so you know action will happen all over your screen, this camera has super quick focus to catch if the action should be on the kittens or on the children. Another great feature is the slo-motion and video from waterfalls and streams looks amazing.

I LOVE IT
I LOVE THIS CAMERA. IT IS HANDY AND RESULTS ARE PERFECT. THIS IS GOOD EVERY DAY CAMERA EVEN FOR PROFESTIONALS. IF YOU WANT TO SPENT A LITTLE LESS BUY A6000. THE RESULTS OF 6300 ARE A BIT BETTER THAN A6000. FROM MY POINT OF VIEW BOTH CAMERAS GIVE PRO RESULTS.

Best camera I have owned
I've been a video producer and filmed for almost 20years and this camera rocks! I'm looking forward to the speed adapter coming this week. Get this camera and the kit lens even. It's totally worth it for pack camera shooting snowboarding and everything else.
