Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50mm Lens (Graphite)
Love this camera!
I have used Nikon and Canok cameras before switching to mirrorless. I ran extensive tests with this camera side by side to a Nikon body. The a6000 performed multitudes better in every aspect. Clarity as well as ISO performance. One of my favorite features is the availability to use apps through the camera. There is one in paticular called timelapse. This camera is for sure worth upgrading too.

Buy it again in a heartbeat!
Haven't got all the WiFi stuff figured out for tripping with my phone, the sony app is not as cool as the Panasonic one. I'm sure once I get through it I'll like it. Quality of the photographs is great! The high ISO pictures are the best I've ever gotten on a camera yet. Everything I do goes through Lightroom and It does a great job, the lens corrections are there and that is important too me.

Wish I had gotten this sooner.
I'm a photographer/editor doing more shooting. Sold most of my Canon/Nikon stuff (except a couple favorite lenses) and got this after sooooo many people raving about it online. XAVC-S looks great with the v2 firmware update. Kit lens looks surprisingly good, and killer deal for the 55-210. Don't wait. Get it and get to work. There will always be something newer, but I'm a total Sony fan now.

I LOVE IT!!!
There are times when I don't fell like lugging around my a77 but at the same time, I don't want to settle for a point and shoot. The a6000 is perfect for this reason. I decided to get the body only and purchased the Sony E-Mount 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Zoom Lens separately. So far, GREAT combination. Very easy to use and most importantly, it takes very clear and crisp photos. Great little camera.

The perfect camera for me!
While I'm still getting to know how the camera performs, I decided to buy the A6000 rather than the A7 because I primarily wanted a fast auto-focus for photographing animals at my animal shelter. I'm getting some amazing photos and the cost of the A6000 saved me quite a bit of money that I can now spend on homeless animals. Light and easy to carry, I am so glad I purchased this Sony model.

great fast camera
I purchased this camera on a Wednesday to use as a back up camera for a wedding on Saturday. This camera is easy to use and the menus didn't take long to understand. I was impressed with the jpeg files coming out of this camera, very vibrant colors. I used the Sony 18-105 and the Sony 50mm 1.8. I enjoyed the autofocus speed and accuracy of this camera and it missed focus only a few times.

big camera in a small body
I really wanted a camera that would give me high res and sharp focus images without having to carry a large camera around. The Sony a6000 is larger than a point and shoot, but the quality of the images is so far superior that it does just what I want it to do. A bit of a learning curve because of all the features, the auto setting does a great job while I am learning the manual settings.

Great Camera!
Used for travel: compact, versatile, great photos. This camera can take great pictures anytime anywhere and it is small enough so you won't look like an aggressive photo tourist in any case. Great design with sure grip, good controls, and solid build. Comes with everything you need to head out on your trips and walks and take great pix. Menus very easy to navigate and learn. Great value.

I wish I bought this sooner!
LOVE! As a professional photographer, I want great quality images in my every day life with out having to carry my heavy, bulky, expensive DSLRs and this fits the bill. It's light, easy to use and I still have the option of shooting RAW files. The ISO and wifi on this is also great! I'm actually sorry I didn't buy it sooner. Definitely a great investment. I highly recommend this product.

Compact, Packs Powerfu Punch
I've been a Canon DSLR user for years. I decided to make the jump to mirrorless and am in love! The quality of the images from the A6000 is beautiful. There are so many little features on this camera that I didn't have on my old T3i. Love the size and lightweight nature. Easier to travel and hike with this great little camera. The silver is vey elegant. I'm so glad I ordered this color!

A great travel and general family camera
While I have only had it for a couple of weeks, I love it. 11 pictures a second, makes catching those special moments in sports easy. One button video at the tip of your fingers. Enough resolution for large prints. As a long term Canon owner, I am still adjusting to some control differences. tg I s light enough to have at hand at all times. I recommend it to all serious photographers.

Budget Friendly Big Value
I'm a novice photographer just getting started but my NYC fashion photographer friend said this would be a great start. It is great just on its own as auto mode. I haven't had a chance to play around with it in detail but I love it. Great size in the hand. Lots of E mount lenses to choose from. Great low light camera. No negatives other than the instruction manual doesn't give detail.

An amazing little camera!
If you've played with a mirrorless camera already, especially one of the Sony ones, then nothing here will surprise you. It's the same as the other Alpha cameras, only everything is 3x better/faster/sharper! While not revolutionary, this is a big evolutionary jump that gets several steps closer to bridging to the gap with consumer-grade DSLR's, in half the size and at half the price.

Great pictures, light-weight, good value
This camera is a great! I chose this one instead of the A6500 because I don't seriously shoot video and image stabilization is not worth the extra money for me. I purchased my A6000 with the Sigma 19mm art lens and Sony 50mm OSS, and wow I'm very happy I did not spend the extra $2000 on A6500 and one Zeiss lens. Maybe I'll upgrade in a year but for now this will be my go-to digital.

as good as advertised
This is a lot of camera in a small form factor. I primarily use this for the video features. What I needed was 1080 @ 60p with a low cost entry point and good functionality. The a6000 is all that I need it to be and shoots excellent photos as well. I paired it with the 35mm 1.8 Sony glass and feel as though I have one of the most powerful camera packages you can obtain for around $.

A Great Camera!
My sony a6000 replaced a Nikon d40 kit. What a step up! What I notice most is low light performance. I can take quite good pictures inside without a flash. I have paired the camera body with the Sony 35mm f/1.8 lens, so I can't comment o the kit lens. I am still learning how to use the wireless to post pictures directly online, but hope to be doing that soon. I love this camera!

The a6000 still wonderful.
Since the a6000 are out, I own one and love it a lot. Bought with the kit lens 16-50mm it is not the best quality, but don't leave home without it. The quality is more then acceptable. I bought also the great Sigma lenses: 19mm F2.8, 30mm F1.4 and the superb 60mm f2.8 Those lens will work also on the a6300 and a6500 Yes, I would choose again the a6000 and not the a6300 or a6500.

Great Beginner Camera
I have been thoroughly impressed with the range of this camera. I wanted something lightweight without sacrificing too much capability and this has suited me well. Three photos I have taken thus far are fantastic and I am about to pick up a new lens to further this cameras abilities. Would recommend to anyone starting out photography as a hobby and do not want to break the bank.

Amazing Camera
I use the A6000 for personal photography. I have taken a few pictures that are printed on aluminum and acrylic and hanging on my wall next to professional photographers and you can't tell the difference! Love the ease of use once you figure out where everything is in the menus. Wifi works great and the transfer to phone/tablet is an awesome feature for the social media crowd.

Black Friday Purchase
This camera is amazing. Bought on Black Friday. I came from a Cannon XT which is pretty old. Going from that to this was black and white. I bought the 50 mm lens with this body and takes great photos in low light conditions. It's small and light and worth every penny. The only downside I see is the short battery life. I recommend getting an extra battery if you shoot a lot.

Absolutely loving this camera!
I'm not a professional. I bought this camera for private home use. This is my new hobby camera. I have an older camera with the E-mount lens and they work perfect on this camera so I only bought the camera body. I love how quickly I can transfer pictures to my iPhone. It takes crisp clear pictures and quickly. There's no waiting around for it to reset for the next picture.

THE SONY A6000 IS A FANTASTIC CAMERA!!
The SONY A6000 is an amazingly versatile camera. IQ is excellent and the compact size and weight is a big help when photographing. I have not yet discovered all the powerful systems the camera has but I am starting to climb the learning curve. And the price was excellent and the B & H customer service reps and the B & H purchasing system is the best in the photo business.

Nice, useful camera
It is a nice camera body. I like that it has a viewfinder. Unfortunately I returned it for an a5100, which does not have a viewfinder, though it is nice that it is lighter and even smaller than the a6000. I would recommend the a6000, and am considering getting one for my daughter, who finds my a5100 frustrating without a viewfinder. I like that it has a big sensor (APSC).
