Fast, reliable external drive.
I am a digital tech and these are the new industry standard for backups. They are incredibly fast compared to the Lacies that everyone used for ages and work great as a go-between drive to transfer someone a very large folder of files quickly. Thanks for a great product Samsung.

Small Size with lots of room for data
The size of this drive is so small i can put it into my pocket and not even know it is there, easy to transport anywhere. the price is good (because who would want something for free, lol). USB type C so transfer is fast. Definitely recommend if you need portable memory space!

Amazing little work drive to carry everywhere.
I love this little drive. It was even smaller than I thought it was going to be when it arrived. And it's speed has been consistently fast. I work directly from the drive when I am using my laptop and it is just as fast as using the internal drive. I wish I had more of these!

Compact and Reliable
I havent had it long enough to judge long-term reliability, but feel safe with samsung products. I would recommend it. The only issue with ssd storage these days is how much to have versus cloud storage. Pricing and speed will be interesting to watch over the next few years.

Excellent drive...Does what it's supposed to!
I'm using this little guy to store my movies and photo images libraries to free up space on my iMac. If this little thing was available when I purchased my 500Gb iMac, I would have gone for a 264Gb machine and saved some money. It works just fine thru the USB-C connections.

Samsung T5
I purchased the 1tb version and have had no issues. This is one of the fastest ssds that I have used. I mainly use mine for video editing and it is incredibly fast and has improved my editing experience for the better. I highly recommend this product for any video editiors.

Fast and in a really small and well-designed form factor
Quality of construction is really nice (aluminum) and it also comes with an indicator light. Speed is really good, matches what is advertised. The software for enabling hardware encryption on macOS is its only weaknesses. It works but took some time to install it properly.

Don't Think About It Just Buy It
This day and age if you are not using SSD's for everyday data use/storage you are just wasting time. This drive is easy to carry around, extremely reliable, fast and comes in BLUE (my favorite color). Even if you think you don't want one buy one because you will use it.

External iMac '17 Boot Drive
I'm using this drive as my primary iMac boot drive with macOS High Sierra (formatted HSF+) connected via the usb c cable. Its way faster than the internal 1 TB fusion drive, Word opens in 2 seconds vs 15 seconds before, and much easier to install than opening the iMac.

Perfect
Since switching to primary 4k footage my older drives havent been able to keep up with the load while editing. Got the 1t as a trial for a recent project and I am in love - faster than anything Ive used. Will def be getting one of these with more storage in the future

FAST and small
This is my third Samsung SSD. As they've gotten more affordable for larger capacities I've added them to my workflow. These drives are fast enough to edit large hi resolution photographs and 4K video from so I don't have to drag files back and forth when editing.

Powerful & Durable
This tiny cute thing can go 480M/s to read and 520M/s to write with just less than twice than Airpods. The only mater is the price however I got it when has a $70 discount. If you need a powerful portable tiny SSD, thats the one at least you should consider about.

SSD ok - but product incomplete.
Meant to come with a game download. However the key provided was invalid. B&H referred me to Samsung who will also not help. So although the SDD itself is as expected and works well the customer service is zero from Samsung and the package incomplete. Not great.

great SSD solution
its a great solution for who ones have the blackmagic pocket 4k, its really lightweight, at least for now i dont have a cage but i could install with tape on the top of my camera or behind of my feelworld monitor, now i have a lot of storage to shot any project

These drives are amazing!
The transfer times are incredible in comparison to mechanical drives. My on-location transfers for run-and-gun shoots have become significantly less of a headache. Great size to easily slip into a pocket too. My only wish is that they came in a larger capacity.

Finest (And smallest) Drive
I use it to back up my 1tb macbook pro. It used to take four hours to do a complete backup, it now take 9 minutes or less. The drive is tiny about a small as a credit card or somewhat smaller. I suppose it helps if you've a ssd installed in the machine as well.

solid and fast
I have purchased several 500GB Samsung drives over the past year or 2 for the purpose of backing up photos while travelling. small, light and super fast. I expect no difference from the 1 TB version - bought it because it was on sale at a really good price.

Works out of the box with my iMac
Purchased to store digital photos. I have an older iMac with older USB but the digital photo transfer speed is still very fast. I am using only as a desk top external hard drive - but I can see the value in taking this with you - if is very small and compact.

WOW
It is SO FAST!!!!! There is only one small, really small downside. That is the fact that it is so light the really high quality cable, and it honestly is, which is thick and tends to not stay flat tends to make the drive not sit flat. But, small price to pay!

Portable video and Lightroom Drive. Perfect.
I use this to download images and video while traveling. I'm going to have to get a second one to mirror it for safety, and I will. Editing video on this drive is blazing fast. It's a keeper, and takes up little to no room in my bag. Very excited to own it.

Great when size and weight are critical.
While external drives have gotten much smaller over the years, SSD beats them hands down and also has the advantage SSD offers. Great for one to two week field trips I make for daily backup of the day's work. I carry two. Color optional, but I do like blue.

Very small, massive capacity
1. Tiny size, easily fits in your kit without requiring much space 2. Powered over USB-C, no power supply, etc. required 3. Huge capacity The read/write speed is not stellar, which is expected for a device like this, but acceptable for backing up photos.
