Don't be fooled by its size!
I use this product for action sports in close proximity. I am able to capture my subject with the entire background. Fast moving subjects are crystal clear. Absolutely beautiful. My camera now weighs almost half of my previous SLR.

Best Accessory Lenses
Perfect complement for micro compatible cameras. I am using it on a GH2 with very impressive results....

great specialty lens
I use the lens for landscape shots where I want to accentuate the horizon. By tilting the lens up, the lens introduces curvature. It produces soom interesting close ups.

pocket Fisheye
Fisheyes are usually soft wide open. This lens is no different but seems to be contrasty and reasonably sharp at 4, 5.6 and beyond. The characteristic distortion of a fisheye is something you work with but I find this lens to have just a tad less than usual --a good thing. Its compact and well built and... expensive. It is the only game in town for micro 4/3. The lens cap is clever and well made and I shutter at the prospect of loosing it and having to replace it. Its fun to have a 180 degree camera in such a small package.

Great for that funky look
Though the Lumix 7-14mm can give you a similar DOF and range of vision, its rectilinear design cannot provide you with the Gilliam-esque look that this lens can.

Fun but expensive and very specialized
This lens is a diagonal fisheye lens and is very sharp. I had an old circular fisheye lens years ago and this lens is much more useful. It still produces a lot of distortion toward the edges and of objects near the camera. A bubble level on the hotshoe is useful. A great lens for interior full room shots. Note their is no optical stableization built into this lens, but at 8mm this is not usually a problem. It is lightweight but may be somewhat delicate and has a lot of exposed glass.
